Abstract
Description
【0001】

[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a hybrid vehicle has been provided that uses both an engine such as an internal combustion engine and a motor such as an AC motor that rotates by electric power supplied from a power storage unit such as a battery (secondary battery such as a storage battery) as power sources of the vehicle. . In the hybrid vehicle, the AC motor serving as the power source functions as a generator during the deceleration operation of the vehicle. When a so-called regenerative current is generated, the regenerative current is supplied to the battery during the deceleration operation of the vehicle. Supplied and the battery is recharged. Therefore, when the battery is constantly charged and the output of the engine alone does not satisfy the required output, the current is automatically supplied to the motor from the battery via the inverter. The vehicle can run stably in various running modes. Further, the fuel consumed by the engine can be reduced.
[0003]
In order to minimize the fuel consumed by the engine, a technique has been proposed for setting the operation schedule of the engine and the motor so that the fuel consumption is minimized according to the road conditions of the route to the destination. [Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional drive control system for a hybrid vehicle, travel data for each road type and travel data for each intersection, which are static elements, are acquired from the navigation device as a travel history. Therefore, it is not possible to predict a driving pattern that sufficiently reflects the driving characteristics of the driver on a road that repeatedly travels for commuting, attending school, and the like, and it is not possible to set an appropriate driving schedule. Therefore, the fuel consumption of the hybrid vehicle cannot be sufficiently reduced.

In FIG. 1, reference numeral 12 denotes a navigation database that stores navigation information such as map data, road data, search data, and the like used for navigation processing in a normal navigation device, and 13 denotes an altitude and slope of a road. A
[0026]
The navigation database 12 includes a database including various data files, and displays a guide map along the searched route on a screen of the display unit, in addition to search data for searching for a route, Map data for displaying characteristic photographs and frame diagrams at intersections or routes, displaying the distance to the next intersection, the direction of travel at the next intersection, and displaying other guidance information And various data such as facility data. The navigation database 12 also records various data for outputting predetermined information by the audio output unit.
[0027]
Here, the search data includes intersection data, road data, traffic regulation data, and route display data. In the intersection data, in addition to the number of intersections in which the data is stored, data on each intersection is assigned an identification number as intersection data and stored. Further, in each of the intersection data, in addition to the number of roads connected to the corresponding intersection, that is, the number of connection roads, a number for identifying each connection road is assigned and stored. The intersection data may include a type of the intersection, that is, a distinction whether the intersection is an intersection where a traffic light is installed or an intersection where a traffic light is not installed. .
[0028]
Further, the road data is stored with a number for identifying road data as road data in addition to the number of roads in which the data is stored. Each of the road data stores a road type, a distance as a length of each road, a travel time as a time required to travel on each road, and the like. Further, the road type includes administrative road attributes such as national roads, prefectural roads, major local roads, general roads, and expressways.
[0029]
The road data includes, for the road itself, a width, a slope, a cant, an altitude, a bank, a state of a road surface, whether or not there is a median strip, the number of lanes of the road, a point at which the number of lanes decreases, and a width of the width. It is desirable to include data such as a narrowing point. Then, in the case of a highway or a highway, each lane in the opposite direction is stored as separate road data, and is processed as a two-way road. For example, in the case of an arterial road having two or more lanes on one side, it is processed as a two-way road, and the ascending lane and the descending lane are stored in the road data as independent roads. Further, as for the corner, it is desirable to include data such as a radius of curvature, an intersection, a T-junction, and an entrance of the corner. Further, road attributes such as a railroad crossing, a highway entrance rampway, a tollgate of a highway, a downhill road, an uphill road, and the like may be included.
[0030]
In addition, the road gradient database 13 stores roads calculated based on elevation data such as contour lines, 50 [m] mesh elevation data, and 10 [m] mesh elevation data published by the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan. The altitude and gradient data at each node point are stored. The data desirably includes data of structures such as tunnels and bridges from which design data relating to altitude and gradient, actual measurement data, and the like can be obtained.
[0031]
The data of the navigation database 12 and the road gradient database 13 are stored in storage means such as a semiconductor memory and a magnetic disk. The storage means includes all types of storage media such as a magnetic tape, a magnetic disk, a magnetic drum, a flash memory, a CD-ROM, an MD, a DVD-ROM, an optical disk, an MO, an IC card, an optical card, and a memory card. And a removable external storage medium may be used.

Next, a basic concept of the traveling pattern prediction processing will be described.
[0036]
3 is a diagram showing a concept of a traveling pattern in the embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 4 is a diagram showing a concept for analyzing a traveling pattern in the embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is a diagram in the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating an example of a traveling pattern, and FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating an example of a variation in the traveling pattern according to the embodiment of the present invention.
[0037]
Generally, in a hybrid vehicle, traveling control of the vehicle is performed so as to meet a real-time driver's driving operation request and a power storage unit request. However, in general traveling control of a hybrid vehicle, there are the following problems (1) to (8).
(1) In a running pattern in which the vehicle stops immediately after accelerating, or in a running pattern in which acceleration and deceleration are large, the engine is frequently turned on and off, resulting in poor running efficiency.
(2) The engine may be operating even when the amount of stored power in the battery is large and the power required to run the vehicle is small.
(3) Even when the energy required to run the vehicle from start to stop is small, the engine may be operating.
(4) Even when the power required to drive the vehicle is low, such as during traffic congestion or low-speed driving, the engine operates to generate current by the generator when the amount of stored battery power is low. You may have.
(5) Even when a regenerative current is generated, such as when going down a slope or decelerating, regeneration may not be possible depending on the SOC management width of the battery.
(6) When the engine is operating when the energy required for running the vehicle is small, such as in steady running, the generator generates current, but depending on the SOC management range of the battery, It may not be possible to store electricity.
(7) The engine may be operating even during deceleration or immediately before stopping.
(8) In summer or the like, the engine may operate to operate the air conditioner even when the engine is stopped.
[0038]
In order to solve such a problem, a schedule for traveling efficiently on the route is set by predicting a road shape and a traveling pattern ahead of the route, and the operation of the
[0039]
In this case, the constantly traveling route is, for example, a fixed route that travels almost every day, such as a commuting route, but the traveling frequency does not need to be every day, and may be every other day. It may be about once a week, may not be regular, and may be determined appropriately. In addition, the time zone for traveling on the constantly traveling route may be substantially constant, for example, in the morning commuting time zone, or may fluctuate every day, for example, in the return commuting time zone. Is also good. In addition, the length of the constantly traveling route may be, for example, as short as 2-3 [km] or as long as 100 [km]. It should be noted that the normally traveling route is understood as a separate route for the outward route and the return route.
[0040]
Then, as shown in FIG. 3, the traveling pattern when traveling on the constantly traveling route is influenced by a variable traveling factor and a basic traveling portion as a substantially constant basic portion every time. And a variable traveling portion as a portion which varies. In FIG. 3, the horizontal axis indicates the number of days, and the vertical axis indicates the time required for the steady traveling route.
[0041]
In this case, for example, the weather, the time zone, the day of the week, the settlement date, the end of the term, and the like can be considered as the fluctuation factors that affect the traveling pattern. In the case of the weather, generally, when it is rainy, the flow of traffic is slowed down, and the time required for the same route is lengthened. In addition, in the case of a time zone, there is an effect such that traffic congestion occurs in the morning and evening commuting hours and the required time becomes longer, and the required time becomes shorter in the middle of the night because the traffic volume is small. In addition, in the case of a day of the week, there is an effect that the required time is shortened on Sunday because the traffic volume is small. Note that the settlement date is a day such as fifty days (gobi) or eve (misoka) which is generally set as a transactional and accounting deadline, and the end of the term is generally settled by the public as a settlement period. The set period is the end of March, the end of year, or the like. Further, temporary traffic accidents, traffic jams of unknown cause, festivals, demonstrations, and other events, temporary suspension of traffic due to fire extinguishing activities, etc., suspension of traffic for a predetermined period of time due to road construction, traffic regulation, etc. are as shown in FIG. It can be considered as a fluctuation factor causing accidental fluctuation or short-term fluctuation.
[0042]
In addition, it is conceivable that the basic traveling section also fluctuates in a long term. For example, when the traffic volume in the area increases as a whole due to an increase in population, the required time gradually increases. In addition, when a new road is constructed or amplified, it causes a step change, and as shown in FIG. 3, the required time is reduced stepwise and continuously. As described above, the fluctuation factors include the short-term fluctuation factors that cause the fluctuation as the variable traveling unit and the long-term fluctuation factors that cause the basic traveling unit to vary.
[0043]
The variation factor is a kind of traveling environment information. Therefore, based on the traveling environment information stored in the traveling environment
[0044]
In this case, the traveling data and traveling environment information acquired from the traveling
[0045]
The traveling environment information that is a daily one and has small fluctuations corresponds to a basic traveling as a basic pattern in a traveling pattern when traveling on a constantly traveling route. In addition, the traveling environment information that is everyday and has relatively large fluctuations corresponds to rain running, holiday running, and the like as special patterns in the running pattern, respectively. Further, the traveling environment information as extraordinary corresponds to the running of the event day as a special pattern in the traveling pattern, and the traveling environment information as continuous for a short period or a long period is short or long. It corresponds to the basic run after the period fluctuation has continued.
[0046]
In FIG. 5, a predetermined commuting route is set as a route that travels constantly, and the time required to travel the route is measured over approximately six weeks (42 days) based on the result of measurement. The created traveling pattern is shown. In FIG. 5, the bold line indicates a basic running as a basic pattern in the running pattern. In addition, ◆ indicates fluctuation corresponding to the driving environment information that is ordinary and has small fluctuation, and ■ indicates that the driving environment information is normal and has relatively large fluctuation. Indicates the fluctuation, ▲ indicates the fluctuation corresponding to the driving environment information as extraordinary and large fluctuation, and ● indicates the fluctuation corresponding to the driving environment information as short-term or long-term continuous. I have.
[0047]
FIG. 6 illustrates a traveling pattern created based on the result of setting a predetermined commuting route as a route that travels constantly and measuring a change in speed when traveling along the route. In FIG. 6, a solid line indicates a basic run as a basic pattern, a dotted line indicates a rain run as a special pattern, and a dashed-dotted line indicates a holiday run as a special pattern.
[0048]
Next, the operation of the hybrid vehicle
[0049]
FIG. 7 is a flowchart showing an operation of the drive control system for a hybrid vehicle according to the embodiment of the present invention.
[0050]
First, the traveling pattern prediction unit 11 sets a route to a destination. Here, when the traveling is for the first time, that is, for the first time, the driver operates the input unit including the operation keys, the push buttons, the jog dial, the cross key, the remote controller, and the like of the traveling pattern predicting unit 11 to reach the destination. Enter In this case, the traveling pattern prediction unit 11 functions as a navigation device, accesses the navigation database 12, searches for a route to the destination, and sets the route as a route that travels constantly.
[0051]
Then, the traveling pattern prediction unit 11 accesses the navigation database 12 and the road gradient database 13 to acquire road data, intersection data, gradient data, and the like of the set route, and based on the acquired data, the traveling pattern. To predict. The road data and the intersection data for predicting the traveling pattern include data on the road type, radius of curvature, width, presence / absence of traffic signal lights, intersections, intervals between traffic signal lights, level crossings, bridges, and the like. The gradient data is a gradient of each node point on the road estimated by calculating based on mesh elevation data of 50 [m] mesh or the like. Note that elevation data at each node point may be included. Since the hybrid vehicle has the
[0052]
When the travel to the destination is not the first time, that is, when the travel is the second time or later, the route to the destination is set as a route that automatically and constantly travels without being searched. . In this case, the route to the destination is stored in advance in the storage unit of the travel pattern prediction unit 11 as a route that regularly travels for commuting, going to school, shopping, and the like. By selecting switches and modes such as a commuting route, a school route, and a shopping route, various routes are automatically selected and set. When the date or day of the week for traveling on a route is determined in advance, such as a commuting date or a school commuting date in the case of commuting or commuting, the traveling pattern prediction unit 11 automatically determines various routes based on the date and the day of the week. Alternatively, it may be set selectively. Further, the traveling pattern prediction unit 11 acquires the start time of the
[0053]
Then, assuming that the travel to the destination is the second or later travel, and a route for constantly traveling is set, the analysis of the travel pattern is subsequently performed. In this case, the traveling pattern prediction unit 11 accumulates the traveling data and traveling environment information acquired from the traveling
[0054]
In this case, the traveling data acquired from the traveling
[0055]
Then, the traveling pattern predicting unit 11 analyzes a traveling pattern when traveling on a constantly traveling route according to a method of analysis as shown in FIG. The analysis method shown in FIG. 4 is an example, and the traveling pattern prediction unit 11 may analyze the traveling pattern according to any analysis method. The analyzed traveling pattern can be represented as shown in FIG. 5 or FIG. 6, but can be represented by any method. In general, representative characteristics representing a traveling pattern include an elapsed time to a destination, an average speed, fuel consumption, and the like.
[0056]
As shown in FIG. 4, the correlation between the driving pattern and the driving environment information is obtained by classifying the driving data and driving environment information for n days based on the frequency of occurrence, the magnitude of the fluctuation, the manner of the fluctuation, and the like. Is known, a traveling pattern corresponding to the traveling environment information can be predicted. In other words, basic driving as a basic pattern in a driving pattern corresponds to driving environment information that is everyday and has small fluctuations, and driving environment information that is routine and has relatively large fluctuations The running of the event day or the like as a special pattern in the running pattern corresponds to the running environment information that continues for a short period or a long period, and the basic running after the short-term or long-term fluctuation continues.
[0057]
In a conventional hybrid vehicle, a traveling pattern is predicted based on road information, traveling history, time, and the like acquired from a navigation device. However, in the above-described conventional hybrid vehicle, no consideration is given to predicting a traveling pattern on a route that travels constantly. Furthermore, it does not take into consideration that an average running pattern of a route that runs steadily varies over time or changes in accordance with running environment information.
[0058]
On the other hand, in the

Further, the traveling pattern predicting unit 11 corrects the predicted traveling pattern according to the traffic situation during traveling to obtain a traveling pattern corresponding to the change. In the present embodiment, the driving environment
