Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an engine ignition timing control device applied to an engine that does not have a throttle opening sensor that detects the opening of a throttle valve.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A snowmobile, which is a vehicle traveling on snow, travels on snow by driving a loop-shaped driving band, that is, a track belt. A two-stroke engine is used as an engine for driving the track belt. A carburetor is mounted on the engine to atomize fuel to form a mixture with air and supply the mixture to the engine. The carburetor incorporates a throttle valve that adjusts the amount of air-fuel mixture supplied to the engine by changing the opening of the air-fuel mixture passage. In a snowmobile, the throttle valve is operated by a throttle lever rotatably provided on the steering wheel. When the driver does not operate the throttle lever while the engine is running, that is, When the acceleration operation is not performed, the engine speed becomes the idle speed.
[0003]
On the other hand, the ignition timing of the air-fuel mixture by the ignition plug is controlled in accordance with the engine speed, and the ignition timing is set in the memory of the ignition control unit for controlling the ignition timing in accordance with the engine speed. The ignition timing data is stored as a table (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Based on the ignition timing table, the engine is controlled from the idling speed to the throttle fully open.
[0004]
[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-7-63150
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, if the ignition timing is controlled only with the ignition timing map for normal running from the idling speed to the full throttle opening, the driver has no intention to accelerate and the throttle valve is opened when the throttle lever is not operated. If there is any variation, the idle speed may not reach the predetermined speed. For example, in an engine for a snowmobile, the idle speed is set to about 1000 to 1500 rpm. However, if there is a variation in the opening degree of the throttle valve at the time of idling, even if the ignition timing is controlled, the idle speed is controlled at the engine start. The number may be higher. In addition, after the driver returns the accelerator lever during traveling, the engine speed may not quickly decrease to the set idle speed.
[0006]
An object of the present invention is to improve controllability of the engine speed during idling.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
An engine ignition timing control device of the present invention is an engine ignition timing control device for igniting an air-fuel mixture supplied to a combustion chamber of an engine with a spark plug, and an engine speed detection unit for detecting an engine speed. An accelerator member which is operated by a driver to change the opening of the throttle valve, an operation state detecting means for detecting an operation state of the accelerator member, idle ignition timing data during idle rotation, and a normal operation during normal running rotation. Storage means for storing travel ignition timing data, wherein when the accelerator member is not operated, the ignition timing of the ignition plug is controlled based on the idle ignition timing data, and when the accelerator member is operated, Control for controlling the ignition timing of a spark plug based on the normal driving ignition timing data And having a stage.
[0008]
The engine ignition timing control device of the present invention has a first switch that turns off when the operation state detecting means operates the accelerator member, and a second switch that turns on when the accelerator member is operated. When the first switch is on and the second switch is off, the control means controls the ignition timing of the ignition plug based on the idle ignition timing data. When the second switch is turned off and the second switch is turned on, the ignition timing of the ignition plug is controlled based on the traveling ignition timing data.
[0009]
The ignition timing control device for an engine according to the present invention is characterized in that the engine drives a track belt of a snowmobile. Further, the accelerator member is an accelerator lever rotatably mounted on an operation handle of the snowmobile.
[0010]
According to the present invention, the ignition timing is controlled based on the ignition timing data for idle when the accelerator operation by the driver is not performed, and the ignition timing is controlled based on the ignition timing data for traveling when the accelerator operation is performed. Since the control is performed, when the accelerator operation is not performed under the running state, the engine can be quickly set to the predetermined idle rotation. Further, at the time of engine start, the engine speed can be kept at a predetermined idle speed. As a result, the controllability of the engine speed during idling is improved. Further, the engine speed can be controlled to an optimum state without providing a sensor for detecting the opening of the throttle valve.
[0011]
According to the present invention, the ignition timing characteristics can be improved as an engine for a snowmobile for driving a track belt.

【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, the ignition timing of the ignition plug is made different between when the accelerator operation by the driver is not performed and when the accelerator operation is performed, so that the accelerator operation is not performed under the running state In this case, the engine can be quickly set to the predetermined idle speed, and the engine speed can be maintained at the predetermined idle speed at the time of engine start. As a result, the controllability of the engine speed during idling is improved. Further, the engine speed can be controlled to an optimum state without providing a sensor for detecting the opening of the throttle valve. According to the present invention, the ignition timing characteristics can be improved as an engine for a snowmobile for driving a track belt.
