Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a cork stopper formed from cork bark, and specifically to a surface treatment method for a cork stopper in which the outer surface is treated with a synthetic resin material and the adverse effect of the cork material on the content liquid is blocked.
[0002]
[Prior art]
[Patent Document 1] Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 63-147457 Cork stoppers have a history of thousands of years as stoppers for beverage containers, and even at the present time when synthetic resin materials have been developed due to their excellent sealing properties, wine stoppers or whiskeys Widely used as a sealing stopper for luxury beverages such as stoppers.
In the formation of such a cork stopper, natural cork bark is directly formed into a stopper shape, or an adhesive is mixed with cork particles adjusted to an appropriate particle size, and this is heated and pressed to obtain a desired shape. I have a cork stopper. Of course, the cork material itself appears on the outer surface of the cork stopper, and natural cork material such as holes or growth marks may be present on the peripheral side surface or both end surfaces.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, when the cork stopper is plugged into the bottle mouth, the cork cells on the liquid contact surface and the peripheral side surface near the liquid contact surface come into contact with the content liquid. Or, the cork odor may move, or the cork dust may fall into the content liquid, and the content liquid soaks into the cork cells (since it is an alcohol-containing liquid in many cases) and the outer surface of the cork stopper is unsightly. Causes problems such as discoloration.
[0004]
In order to eliminate this kind of problem, an emulsion wax and silicone oil were applied to the surface of the cork stopper and surface treated to provide a sealing property and to adjust the stopper value.
Only the emulsion wax here can provide a sealing property and a water-repellent effect, but still has a problem of blocking. And once it starts moving, it has the property of slipping. On the other hand, with silicone oil alone, the unplugging sensation feels awkward and sufficient sealability cannot be obtained.
[0005]
As an actual example, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 63-147457 discloses a covering structure of a cork stopper. (Not shown)
In this cork stopper covering structure, a decorative rubber cork stopper is formed by forming a silicone rubber covering on the inner wall surface and upper end surface of the through hole through which the support material passes.
However, such a decorative cork stopper has a big problem that the silicone material allows the odor to permeate because the silicone rubber coating continues to the outside with respect to the content liquid.
The present invention overcomes these drawbacks, and provides a cork stopper surface treatment method with excellent sealing properties that has excellent moldability, prevents the transfer of cork taste and odor, and also enables control of the plug-out value. For the purpose.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIG. 1, the surface treatment of the cork stopper (1) in which natural cork is removed or formed into a desired shape by pulverizing natural cork into a desired shape. The method is characterized in that a coating (2) made of a synthetic resin is formed on the liquid contact end face of the cork stopper (1) and the lower peripheral side surface and the upper peripheral side surface thereof.
The synthetic resin coating (2) is made of a silicone resin.
[0007]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In the present invention, the synthetic resin coating (2) is applied to the wetted surface and the peripheral side surface of the formed cork stopper (1). The coating (2) is formed on the peripheral side surface. It is divided into an upper part and a lower part. That is, as shown in FIG. 1, after the coating (2) is formed on the cork stopper (1), the peripheral side surface (1a) of the bare cork material is left as it is in the middle portion. The presence of (1a) reveals many features to be described later.
[0008]
【Example】
Examples of the present invention are shown below.
A synthetic resin material is used for the coating (2) to be applied and formed on the cork stopper (1), and a urethane resin, an epoxy resin, a silicone resin, or the like can be used for this.
In this urethane resin, it becomes hard at low temperature, and the surface activity tends to increase and the plugging value tends to decrease. Moreover, the epoxy resin tends to have an extremely large unplugging value due to the hardened portion of the cork material impregnated at low temperatures. With silicone resin, the unplugging value is stable at both normal temperature and low temperature, and it is possible to achieve unplugging performance that is not affected by temperature changes. By the way, the unplugging value in the case of the raw peripheral surface (1a) without the presence of the coating (2) made only of the cork material is low at normal temperature and high at low temperature.
[0009]
Next, the problems with the silicone resin include oxygen permeability and odor absorption as disadvantages, and time and temperature are required for curing, and the entire cork stopper (1) is made of silicone resin. When coated, the cork stopper (1) causes a problem of blocking each other. In addition, there is a risk that the adhesive performance is lowered (swelled or peeled) by alcohol.
[0010]
Therefore, by forming a coating (2) on the peripheral side surface of the cork stopper (1) at an appropriate width and leaving the peripheral side surface (1a) at the center, the peripheral side surface (1a) of the element is Since it adheres directly to the inner peripheral surface of the bottle mouth and divides the upper part and the lower part, the above-mentioned weak points of oxygen permeability and odor absorption are eliminated. And in the control of the plugging value, the degree of freedom that can be set in any way is created by adjusting the width area of the coating (2).
[0011]
In actual formation, in the case of the cork stopper (1) having an outer diameter of about 24φ × 38 mm, it was formed by brushing by raising about 10 to 15 mm from both upper and lower end faces. Moreover, formation by the application | coating method by a spray is also used. In this case, the part of the raw peripheral side surface (1a) without the coating (2) is formed to be about 18 to 8 mm. In addition, in this application | coating, not only a liquid contact surface but the formation of a film (2) on the both end surfaces of a cork stopper (1) can also be selected freely.
[0012]
As the synthetic resin material used for the coating film (2) in the present invention, a silicone resin is preferable because it is excellent in stability, and among them, a material having good adhesiveness is more preferable. In addition, the addition curable type or the condensation curable type is preferably a condensation curable type that efficiently cures at a low temperature in consideration of damage to the cork stopper (1). Even the addition curing type can be cured at a low temperature by increasing the reaction rate by adjusting the catalyst or the like.
[0013]
In this way, the film (2) formed on the surface of the cork stopper (1) and the peripheral side surface (1a) part of the cork stopper (1a) divide the permeation of oxygen from the outside and the passage of the odor absorption, and transfer of the cork taste, smell, etc. Can be completely blocked.
[0014]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, the film (2) having excellent coating performance and excellent adhesion and the peripheral side surface (1a) of the element in which the cork material is in direct contact with the inner surface of the bottle completely block the taste transfer to the content liquid. In addition, since the elasticity and flexibility are maintained and controlled, it is possible to provide an ideal cork stopper such as an optimum sealing force and plugging force. In addition, the coating (2) provided on the liquid contact surface and the peripheral side surface as described above can completely block the generation of cork dust and the permeation of alcohol.
