TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a surface mounter for transferring and mounting an electronic component such as an IC on a substrate, and in particular, is configured to perform a mounting process in a state where the substrate is supported from the back side (lower side) by backup pins. The present invention relates to a method for changing the arrangement of the backup pins of a surface mounter and a surface mounter.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, while moving a head unit having a suction head for picking up components by a rectangular coordinate robot, an electronic component such as an IC is sucked from a component supply unit, and the component is placed on a printed circuit board positioned at a predetermined work position. 2. Description of the Related Art A surface mounting machine configured to be transported and mounted (hereinafter, abbreviated as a mounting machine) is generally known.
[0003]
In this type of mounting machine, in order to prevent bending of the printed circuit board, processing is performed while the printed circuit board is supported from the back side, and a specific point of the printed circuit board is generally supported by a pin member called a backup pin. That is being done.
[0004]
By the way, when the printed circuit board is supported by the backup pins as described above, since the point differs depending on the type of the printed circuit board, such as the size, it is necessary to change the pin arrangement according to the change in the type of the printed circuit board. Therefore, in general, a backup plate in which pin holes into which the backup pins can be inserted is formed in a matrix shape is installed at a work position, and the backup pins are rearranged by inserting and removing the backup pins according to the type of a printed circuit board. To be able to do. Particularly recently, a surface mounter has been proposed in which a head unit is provided with a backup pin insertion / removal unit, and the operation of inserting / removing (changing the arrangement) of the backup pin is performed by the head unit (for example, Patent Document 1). 1).

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
According to the surface mounter disclosed in the above publication, the arrangement of the backup pins can be changed using the head unit for component mounting, so that the arrangement of the pins can be automatically changed with a reasonable configuration. It is possible.
[0007]
However, the above publication does not disclose how to change the pin arrangement, that is, no specific method of changing the pin arrangement, and therefore, it is possible to efficiently change the pin arrangement. It couldn't be said to be accurate.
[0008]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and has as its object to provide a backup pin arrangement change method and a surface mounter that can efficiently and accurately change the arrangement of backup pins.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the invention according to
[0010]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a backup plate provided at a mounting operation position and having a plurality of pin holes, and a backup pin for supporting a substrate can be inserted into and removed from the pin holes of the backup plate. An implanted backup device, a movable head unit for transferring and mounting electronic components to a substrate supported by the backup device, and a backup pin mounted on the head unit and supporting the backup plate with respect to the backup plate. In a surface mounter provided with a pin insertion / removal means capable of inserting / removing a backup pin, a pin hole for which a backup pin needs to be inserted / removed is extracted based on the current backup pin arrangement information and the changed backup pin arrangement information. Withdrawing the backup pin from the object extracting means and the pin hole extracted by the object extracting means Pair information creating means for creating pair information as a set of a pin hole and a pin hole for inserting a backup pin, and inserting a backup pin on a backup plate based on the pair information created by the pair information creating means. Control means for controlling the drive of the head unit and the pin insertion / removal means for removal.
[0011]
According to this method (surface mounter), of the existing (current) backup pins on the backup plate, those pins that can be used in the changed arrangement can be used as they are without being pulled out, and can be used as they are. If there is a pin hole to be withdrawn and a pin hole to be inserted, the existing backup pins planted on the backup plate can be replaced as they are. Therefore, the rearrangement of the backup pins can be efficiently performed.
[0012]
In the above method, it is preferable that, in the pair information creating step, the pair information is created with the pin holes closest to each other among the target pin holes requiring the insertion and removal of the backup pin as a pair. In the above-mentioned surface mounter, it is preferable that the pair information creating means is configured to create the pair information with the pin holes closest to each other among the target pin holes requiring the insertion and removal of the backup pin as a pair.
[0013]
According to this method (surface mounter), the amount of movement of the head unit required for inserting and removing the backup pin can be minimized, so that the backup pin can be rearranged more efficiently. It becomes.
[0014]
In the above method, prior to the target extraction step, the current backup pin is detected based on the detection of the backup pin by the pin detection means mounted on the head unit while moving the head unit relatively to the backup plate. More preferably, the method further includes a pin arrangement detecting step of detecting the arrangement of the pins. Further, in the above surface mounter, a pin detecting means mounted on the head unit and capable of detecting the backup pin with the relative movement of the head unit with respect to a backup plate, and a backup based on a detection result by the pin detecting means. Further comprising a pin arrangement detecting means for detecting a pin arrangement, wherein the object extracting means extracts a pin hole which needs to be inserted / removed using the pin arrangement detected by the pin arrangement detecting means as the current backup pin arrangement information. More preferably, it is configured to perform the following.
[0015]
According to this method (surface mounting machine), it is possible to eliminate the mistake of inserting and removing the backup pin and to perform the rearrangement of the backup pin accurately and reliably. In other words, the arrangement information of the backup pins is generally stored as data in advance, but for example, in actual work, the operator manually changes the arrangement of some backup pins from the regular arrangement, In such a case, the mounting process may be performed in a state in which the head unit (pin insertion / removal means) has not been stored. It is conceivable that forgetting to take off or insufficient insertion may occur. On the other hand, according to the above-described method (surface mounter), the arrangement of the backup pins is changed after the actual arrangement of the backup pins is detected. Can be reliably prevented, and the rearrangement of the backup pin can be performed accurately and reliably.
[0016]

During the mounting process, if the size or the like of the printed circuit board P is changed due to the change of the production model (lot change), the operation of changing the arrangement of the backup pins 32 is performed as necessary. Hereinafter, the operation control will be described.
[0082]
As shown in FIG. 13, when the operation of changing the arrangement of the backup pins 32 starts, first, the changed production model data is read into the main control means 60 in step S1. This data includes the arrangement information of the backup pins 32 corresponding to the changed production model.
[0083]
Next, a pin arrangement data acquisition operation for confirming the current arrangement of the backup pins 32 is executed (step S2; pin arrangement detection step).
[0084]
The control of the pin arrangement data acquisition operation is executed according to the flowchart (subroutine) of FIG. Referring to FIG. 14, when this data acquisition operation is started, first, in step S20,

【The invention's effect】
As described above, the method for changing the arrangement of backup pins according to the present invention provides a method for extracting a pin hole that requires insertion and removal of a backup pin based on the current backup pin arrangement information and the changed backup pin arrangement information. An extraction step, and a pair information creation step of creating pair information as a set of a pin hole for removing a backup pin and a pin hole for inserting a backup pin among the pin holes extracted in this step, The method includes the step of inserting and removing the backup pin on the backup plate by the pin holding means of the head unit based on the pair information created in the process. The backup pins that can be used after the change can be used as they are without disconnecting. If the Bekipin hole and inserted to be pin hole is present in the backup plates together it can be used by replacing it with existing backup pins that are inserted into the backup plate. Therefore, the arrangement change (setup change) of the backup pin can be efficiently performed.
[0117]
In particular, in the pair information creation step, if the pair information is created as a pair with the pin holes closest to each other among the target pin holes requiring the insertion and removal of the backup pin, the head unit required for insertion and removal of the backup pin is created. The amount of movement can be minimized, and as a result, the backup pins can be more efficiently rearranged.
