【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
BACKGROUND OF THE
[0002]
[Prior art]
Various types of conventional headlights using a halogen lamp or a discharge lamp as a light source are known. For example, a projector type headlamp includes a convex lens for projection, one lamp disposed behind a rear focal point of the convex lens for projection, and a light reflected from the lamp to be focused on a rear focal point of the convex lens for projection. And a spheroidal reflecting mirror for focusing. The parabolic headlamp is composed of one discharge lamp and a parabolic reflector that is disposed behind the discharge lamp and reflects and projects light from the discharge lamp forward. It is schematically configured. Each of the conventional headlamps described above shuts off a part of the projection light and distributes a low beam mainly for passing a vehicle (hereinafter referred to as a low beam mode). A partition (hereinafter, referred to as a shade) that can be moved to a position that can take a mode for distributing a high beam for highway traveling (hereinafter, referred to as a high beam mode). In addition, a cornering lamp that distributes a cornering beam that illuminates the corner in accordance with a turn signal or a predetermined steering angle at the time of cornering is disposed near the headlight of the vehicle.
[0003]
By the way, a light emitting diode (hereinafter, referred to as an LED) is known as a light source having a long life, low power, and high efficiency. However, it has been used for lighting small devices because of its low light emission amount.
[0004]
[0005]
In recent years, white LEDs having a large light emission amount have been developed, and their use is expected to be expanded.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, since the conventional headlight has the above-described configuration, there are the following problems. In other words, the conventional headlamp depends on the life of the halogen lamp or discharge lamp as the only light source. Therefore, there is a problem that the life of the lamp is further prolonged. In such a case, there is no alternative, and there is a problem that safe driving may not be ensured. Further, in the conventional headlight, the same power is consumed in the low beam mode and the high beam mode, and in the low beam mode that is frequently used in passing driving or the like, power is consumed by light shaded by a shade and not actually used. Therefore, there is a problem that power consumption is wasted.
[0008]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and has as its object to obtain a long-life, low-power headlamp.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A headlight according to the present invention includes a convex lens for projection and a light emitting surface including a plurality of light emitting diodes disposed behind a rear focal point of the convex lens for projection.
