【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、唐辛子、ニンニク、黒蜜副産物、竹酢液、焼酎、グレープフルーツ種子、わさびの成分を含む植物用防虫・忌避剤およびその製造方法に関し、特に野菜や果実の収穫・摘果直前に使用する植物用防虫・忌避剤に関する。

【従来の技術および発明が解決しようとする課題】
近年、栽培植物の需要は目を見張るものがあり、その品質の更なる高度化が望まれている。
いうまでもなく、栽培植物の高品質化を遂げるためには、適切な種の選択や育苗段階から適切な肥料を施したり、害虫駆除は勿論のこと収穫に至るまで各ステップにおける種々のケアを経てはじめて満足できる商業商品や家庭における趣味実益を兼ねた野菜や花木を得ることができる。
しかしながら、栽培途中や収穫前・摘果前は上記のような種々のケアを施すことにより、害虫などを防ぐことが可能であるが、収穫直前・摘果直前においては、農薬などの散布は野菜や果実に農薬が付着し、アブラムシ、てんとう虫、毛虫、なめくじなどの害虫駆除が適切に行われず、甚だ不具合がみられた。
このため、出荷直前や収穫直前の野菜・果物類には殺虫剤類がかけられず、指定農薬の散布のみにより害虫類の防御を行っているのが実情であるが、これまでは、主に化学的薬剤成分を調合したもの、例えばアレスリン、フラメトリン、ベルメトリン、フタルスリン、ピレスロイド系などを配合したものが知られているが、野菜や果実の収穫・摘果直前に使用する植物用防虫・忌避剤としては安全性の面などから不具合があった。
昨今、有機野菜の流行などもあり、農薬などの散布を行わずに安全安心な野菜果物の流通が望まれている。
このような観点により、本発明者は唐辛子、ニンニク、黒蜜副産物、竹酢液、焼酎、グレープフルーツ種子、わさびの各成分に着目し、天然成分のみから成る、人体に安全安心且つ環境汚染のおそれがない、植物用防虫・忌避剤およびその製造方法に関する本発明の完成に至ったものである。
本発明は殊に、有機野菜や果実などの収穫前・出荷前の防虫忌避剤として有効であり、商業野菜・果実および家庭用菜園において有効である。
なお、ニンニクと唐辛子を使用した害虫忌避剤に関しては、特開平8ー34706号公報に、またニンニクと唐辛子を使用した食品の品質保存剤に関しては、特開平10ー210958号公報に、糖蜜を使用した害虫忌避剤に関しては、特開平10ー167921号公報に開示されているが、これらは何れも開示されているその成分のみによるものであり、本願発明のように多様な成分を使用した相乗効果を図ったものはこれまでみられない。

そもそも本来、植物は完熟に近づくと子孫繁栄の趣旨から、その果実・野菜は虫を呼び、種子をまいて貰うために、虫を利用するものであり、また種子がない完熟野菜でも完熟に至らない若い野菜に比べ虫に好まれる傾向があり、そのため収穫前・出荷前における、人体の健康を害しない植物用防虫・忌避剤が必要となる。

本発明は、このような従来の様々な問題点を考慮してなされたものであり、農薬などの散布を行わずに、収穫直前・摘果直前の野菜・果物の流通が可能な、天然成分のみから成り、臭いによる忌避並びに刺激による接触性忌避に基づくリペラント効果を図った、安全安心な植物用防虫・忌避剤を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するため、請求項1に記載の発明は、唐辛子、ニンニク、糖蜜、焼酎、竹酢液、グレープフルーツ種子、わさびの内二種以上の有効成分を抽出、混合してなることを特徴とする植物用防虫・忌避剤である。
この発明においては、それぞれの成分が有する作用により、収穫前・摘果前の野菜・果物などの植物の害虫の防虫・忌避が可能となる。

また、上記目的を達成するため、請求項2に記載の発明は、前記植物用防虫・忌避剤に使用される糖蜜は黒蜜副産物より成る有用微生物群であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の植物用防虫・忌避剤である。
この発明においては、糖蜜の成分を黒蜜副産物より成る有用微生物群と特定したので、その成分作用がより高まり、植物の害虫の防虫・忌避が可能となる。

また、上記目的を達成するため、請求項3に記載の発明は、前記植物用防虫・忌避剤に使用されるグレープフルーツ種子は微粉末より成ることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の植物用防虫・忌避剤である。
この発明においては、使用されるグレープフルーツ種子はミキシングした微粉末と特定したので、その成分作用がより高まり、植物の害虫の防虫・忌避が可能となる。

また、上記目的を達成するため、請求項4に記載の発明は、前記植物用防虫・忌避剤は、唐辛子を煮出しした抽出液に黒蜜副産物、竹酢液、グレープフルーツ種子、わさびおよび焼酎の二種以上の抽出成分を同時又は別個に混合して成り、更に界面活性剤を付加して成ることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3に記載の植物用防虫・忌避剤である。
この発明においては、各種有効成分の混合方法を特定したので、その成分作用がより高まり植物の害虫の防虫・忌避が可能となる。

この発明においては、各種有効成分の混合方法およびその分量ならびに工程を特定した製造方法なので、その成分作用がより高まり植物の害虫の防虫・忌避が可能となる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に、この発明の好適な実施形態を詳細に説明する。
なお、以下にのべる実施形態は、本発明の好適な具体例であるから、技術的に好ましい種々の限定が付されているが、本発明の範囲は以下の説明において特に本発明を限定する旨の記載がない限り、これらの態様に限られるものではない。本発明の植物用防虫・忌避剤およびその製造方法に使用される唐辛子、ニンニク、黒蜜副産物、竹酢液、焼酎、グレープフルーツ種子、わさびは以下のとおりである。

唐辛子としては、所謂辛味があるものであれば特に種類を問わないが、成分にカプサイシンが含まれているものを指す。カプサイシン類には、カプサイシンの他にジヒドロカプサイシン、ノルジヒドロカプサイシン、ホモカプサイシン、ホモジヒドロカプサイシンが含まれるが、通常カプサイシンおよびジヒドロカプサイシンの割合が高く、殆どこれにあたり、これらが含まれているものを指す。
本件発明においては、この辛さを利用して防虫・忌避剤として収穫前・出荷前の野菜や果物に塗布・散布することにより、この成分による刺激に基づく接触性忌避として害虫がこれを嫌い、結果的に忌避されることとなる。
唐辛子の辛さは、種を作る部分である胎座に集中しているので、この部分を取り出して抽出することも可能であるが、取り出し作業を省いて唐辛子全部をこれに用いてもよい。

本件発明に使用されるニンニクは、一般市場でみられるものを使用する。ニンニクには、アリシン成分から生ずる所謂ニンニク臭さがあり、また強力な殺菌作用がみられる。
本件発明においては、この強いニンニク臭さおよび強力な殺菌作用を利用し、防虫・忌避剤として収穫前・出荷前の野菜や果物に塗布・散布することにより、この成分による臭いに基づく忌避並びに刺激に基づく接触性忌避として害虫がこれを嫌い、結果的に忌避されることとなる。

本件発明に使用される黒蜜副産物は、黒蜜を得る過程で生ずる副産物であり、培養有用微生物群である。
これは、糖類の熱処理により生じる廃糖蜜(以下モラッセと云う)の一種である、5ーハイドロキシメチル フルフラールなどのフルフラール誘導体として知られるものであり、この成分特有の強い臭いがある。
本件発明においては、この培養有用微生物群が有する作用を利用し、防虫・忌避剤として収穫前・出荷前の野菜や果物に塗布・散布することにより、害虫がこれを嫌い、結果的に忌避されることとなる。

本件発明に使用される竹酢液は、一般市場でみられるものを使用することが可能であるが、当該液成分が濃い場合には、精製水などにより予め適宜希釈して使用する。
本件発明においては、タール成分から由来する竹酢液特有の強い臭さおよび強力な殺菌作用を利用し、防虫・忌避剤として収穫前・出荷前の野菜や果物に塗布・散布することにより、害虫がこれを嫌い、結果的に忌避されることとなる。

本件発明に使用されるグレープフルーツ種子は、一般市場でみられるものを使用することが可能であるが、予めミキサーなどによりミキシングし、微粉末としておく。
本件発明においては、このグレープフルーツ種子の有する強い臭さおよび殺菌作用を利用し、防虫・忌避剤として収穫前・出荷前の野菜や果物に塗布・散布することにより、害虫がこれを嫌い、結果的に忌避されることとなる。

本件発明に使用されるわさびは、一般市場でみられるものを使用することが可能であるが、本防虫・忌避剤としての混合のため、練り状又は粉末状のものが好ましい。
本件発明においては、このわさびの辛さを利用して防虫・忌避剤として収穫前・出荷前の野菜や果物に塗布・散布することにより、この成分による刺激に基づく接触性忌避として害虫がこれを嫌い、結果的に忌避されることとなる。

本件発明における植物用防虫・忌避剤の抽出方法は、添付の図1及び2のフローチャートに示す通りである。

【実施例】
以下に本発明の実施例を記載するが、本発明はこの実施例によって何ら限定されるものではないことはもとよりである。
(実施例1)
唐辛子を煮出しした抽出液10重量%に、黒蜜副産物5重量%、グレープフルーツ種子(商品名:カルファ)3重量%,わさび粉末3重量%、および焼酎5重量%の各抽出成分を混合し、更に界面活性剤を適宜量付加して得られた溶液を24時間静置し、その後精製水を加えて全量を100重量%として希釈し、更に散布用として100倍希釈して溶液を得た。得られた溶液を収穫前の野菜に散布し、7日ほど観察した結果、害虫などの寄りつきがなく、植物用防虫・忌避剤として好適であることが認められた。

(実施例2)
焼酎5重量%に黒蜜副産物5重量%、ニンニク8重量%、唐辛子10重量%、わさび粉末3重量%およびグレープフルーツ種子(商品名:カルファ)3重量%の各抽出成分を混合し、更に界面活性剤を適宜量付加して得られた溶液を24時間静置し、その後精製水を加えて全量を100重量%として希釈し、更に散布用として100倍希釈して溶液を得た。得られた溶液を収穫前の野菜に散布し、7日ほど観察した結果、害虫などの寄りつきがなく、植物用防虫・忌避剤として好適であることが認められた。

(試験例1)オルファクトメータによる害虫忌避試験:
300≡容量のフラスコを左右2個を適宜間隔をおいて用意し、その間隔中央部に害虫封入用チェンバーを設け、当該チェンバーの両端をガラス管により上記左右フラスコと接続した試験装置を準備した。
左側のフラスコに出荷前のキャベツ片を入れ、右側のフラスコに唐辛子抽出液に黒蜜副産物を混合した希釈溶液を散布した出荷前のキャベツ片を入れ、中央部のチェンバーに毛虫20匹を入れて、一昼夜放置した。その結果、毛虫14匹が左側のフラスコに移動し、残りの6匹がチェンバー内に停まっていることが判明した。

左側のフラスコに出荷前のキャベツ片を入れ、右側のフラスコに唐辛子抽出液にニンニク抽出液及び焼酎を混合した希釈溶液を散布した出荷前のキャベツ片を入れ、中央部のチェンバーに毛虫20匹を入れて、一昼夜放置した。その結果、毛虫17匹が左側のフラスコに移動し、残りの3匹がチェンバー内に停まっていることが判明した。

左側のフラスコに出荷前のキャベツ片を入れ、右側のフラスコに実施例1により得られた希釈溶液を散布した出荷前のキャベツ片を入れ、中央部のチェンバーに毛虫20匹を入れて、一昼夜放置した。その結果、毛虫20匹共左側のフラスコに移動していることが判明した。

本発明の植物用防虫・忌避剤は、唐辛子、ニンニク、糖蜜、焼酎、竹酢液、わさびおよびグレープフルーツ種子の内二種以上の成分を抽出してなるので、この発明においては、それぞれの成分が有する作用により、またこれらの作用の相乗効果により、植物の害虫の防虫・忌避が可能となる効果がある。
また、本発明の植物用防虫・忌避剤は、界面活性剤を加えて成るので、野菜や果実などの植物の葉、花、茎が有する撥水性に抗って留まり、植物用防虫・忌避剤として有効な効果が見られる。

また、請求項2に記載の発明によれば、前記植物用防虫・忌避剤は、前記植物用防虫・忌避剤に使用される糖蜜は黒蜜副産物より成る有用微生物群であり、糖蜜の成分を黒蜜副産物より成る有用微生物群と特定したので、この発明においてはその有効成分作用がより高まり、植物の害虫の防虫・忌避が可能となる。
