【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a driving force control device for a vehicle for controlling a driving force so as to realize an acceleration and a vehicle speed of a vehicle according to a driver's accelerator operation by an accelerator pedal.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As such an apparatus, there is an apparatus described in, for example,
The driving force control device described in this document obtains a target acceleration or a target deceleration of a vehicle from the depression amount of an accelerator pedal, and controls the throttle opening of the engine so as to achieve the target acceleration / deceleration.
Specifically, the actual acceleration / deceleration of the vehicle is obtained by differentiating the detected vehicle speed, and it is determined whether or not the actual acceleration / deceleration matches the target acceleration / deceleration described above. That is, the throttle opening is corrected to match the acceleration / deceleration.
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-205015
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in the conventional driving force control device described above, since the throttle opening is controlled so that the actual acceleration / deceleration follows the target acceleration / deceleration calculated from the accelerator pedal depression amount, the accelerator pedal depression amount is constant. As shown in FIG. 22, when the vehicle enters the uphill road, the actual acceleration once decreases and then can reach the target value. However, the actual vehicle speed once lowered when entering the uphill road is changed to the original vehicle speed. There is a problem in that the control is not lowered, and therefore, the voltage is kept lowered.
[0005]
On the other hand, in order to solve the above problem, a target vehicle speed may be obtained by integrating the target acceleration, and the driving force may be controlled so that the own vehicle speed follows the target vehicle speed. However, in this case, the following problems are concerned. You.
In other words, if the depression amount is increased or decreased by operating the accelerator pedal, the target vehicle speed also increases or decreases, and after detecting a deviation between the target vehicle speed and the actual vehicle speed, the driving force is controlled so that the deviation decreases. Therefore, especially when the accelerator pedal is rapidly operated, the actual vehicle speed is greatly delayed with respect to the sudden change of the target vehicle speed, and the actual vehicle speed may increase or decrease toward the target vehicle speed. It feels uncomfortable that the acceleration / deceleration of the vehicle occurs significantly behind the operation (intention to accelerate / decelerate).
[0006]
For example, as shown in FIG. 9, the case where the accelerator pedal depression amount APO suddenly increases as shown in FIG. 9 when the accelerator pedal is suddenly depressed at the instant t1. When the target vehicle speed tVSP increases with this, the actual vehicle speed aVSP increases. Since the climb starts with a large delay represented by Δt, the driver feels this as a delay in acceleration and feels strange.
This acceleration delay Δt becomes even greater when the accelerator pedal is suddenly depressed under running conditions with large running resistance, such as when traveling on an uphill road, and the driver feels uncomfortable.
[0007]
Conversely, for example, as shown in FIG. 12, the case where the accelerator pedal depression amount APO is rapidly reduced as shown in the figure by performing the rapid return operation of the accelerator pedal at the instant t1 will be described. Since the aVSP starts to decrease with a large delay represented by Δt, the driver feels this as a delay in deceleration and feels strange.
The deceleration delay Δt is further increased when the accelerator pedal is rapidly returned under running conditions with a small running resistance, such as when traveling on a downhill road, and the driver feels uncomfortable.
[0008]
In view of the above problems, the present invention can solve the former problem by finally allowing the own vehicle speed to reach the target vehicle speed even when a deviation between the own vehicle speed and the target vehicle speed occurs due to the influence of the road surface gradient. In addition, even when a sudden operation of the accelerator pedal is performed, a change in the actual vehicle speed corresponding to the operation can be generated without causing a problematic response delay, and a sense of incongruity due to the response delay can be eliminated. It is an object of the present invention to propose a driving force control device for a vehicle.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
To this end, a driving force control device for a vehicle according to the present invention has the following features.
A target acceleration is calculated based on the accelerator pedal depression amount, a target vehicle speed is obtained from the calculated target acceleration, and the driving force of the vehicle is controlled so that the own vehicle speed follows the target vehicle speed.
The above target vehicle speed is corrected by the target vehicle speed offset amount corresponding to the operation speed of the accelerator pedal to obtain a corrected target vehicle speed, and the driving force is adjusted so that the own vehicle speed follows the corrected target vehicle speed instead of the target vehicle speed. By performing the control, a response delay of the actual vehicle speed with respect to the change of the target vehicle speed according to the operation of the accelerator pedal is compensated.
[0010]
【The invention's effect】
According to the configuration of the present invention, the target vehicle speed is obtained from the target acceleration calculated based on the accelerator pedal depression amount, and the driving force of the vehicle is controlled so that the own vehicle speed follows the target vehicle speed.
The target vehicle speed is calculated and set from the target acceleration, so that the acceleration can be made to coincide with the target acceleration, not to mention, even when a deviation between the own vehicle speed and the target vehicle speed occurs due to an influence of a road surface gradient or the like. Eventually, the own vehicle speed can also reach the target vehicle speed.
[0011]
As in the above-described conventional driving force control device, when control is performed merely to make the acceleration of the vehicle equal to the target acceleration, the transmission may be down due to the influence of the road surface gradient, for example, due to insufficient driving force during traveling on the uphill. To describe the case where the driving force is increased by performing a shift, if the own vehicle speed temporarily decreases before the downshift, in order to make the own vehicle speed reach the target vehicle speed, the accelerator pedal is equivalent to the difference between the two. The amount of depression must be increased.
[0012]
On the other hand, according to the present invention, since the driving force of the vehicle is controlled so that the own vehicle speed follows the target vehicle speed obtained from the target acceleration, when the vehicle enters an uphill road with the accelerator pedal depression amount kept constant. Therefore, the vehicle speed can be made to match the target vehicle speed without relying on the accelerator pedal being further depressed, and the problem that the vehicle speed is kept lowered on the uphill road can be solved.
[0013]
According to the present invention, the corrected target vehicle speed is obtained by correcting the target vehicle speed by the target vehicle speed offset amount corresponding to the operation speed of the accelerator pedal, and the own vehicle speed follows the corrected target vehicle speed instead of the target vehicle speed. By performing the above-described driving force control, a configuration is made to compensate for a response delay of the actual vehicle speed with respect to a change in the target vehicle speed according to the accelerator pedal operation.
Even when the target vehicle speed suddenly changes due to sudden operation of the accelerator pedal, the response of the actual vehicle speed is accelerated by the target vehicle speed offset amount, and the vehicle accelerates / decelerates significantly behind the accelerator pedal operation (intention to accelerate / decelerate) by the driver. It is possible to eliminate the sense of incongruity.

The accelerator pedal
Here, the accelerator pedal operation speed dAPO is based on the polarity of the accelerator pedal operation when the accelerator pedal operation is increasing the accelerator pedal depression amount APO or when the accelerator return operation is decreasing the accelerator pedal operation amount APO. In this embodiment, it is assumed that the positive polarity of the accelerator pedal operation speed dAPO indicates an accelerator depression operation, and the negative polarity of the accelerator pedal operation speed dAPO indicates an accelerator return operation.
The accelerator pedal
[0026]
When the accelerator pedal operation acceleration ddAPO is equal to or higher than a predetermined acceleration, the target vehicle speed offset
The above-mentioned predetermined acceleration related to the accelerator pedal operation acceleration ddAPO is a lower limit value of the accelerator pedal operation acceleration at which the driver starts to feel a response delay of the acceleration.
The target vehicle speed offset amount tVSPofs is previously obtained as shown in FIG. 5 by an experiment or the like as an offset amount necessary for the driver not to feel a response delay of acceleration / deceleration. tVSPofs is set to 0 up to an absolute value of the accelerator pedal operation speed, and increases as the accelerator pedal operation speed increases with an absolute value of the accelerator pedal operation speed higher than that.
Further, in FIG. 5, the target vehicle speed offset amount tVSPofs is determined according to the absolute value of the accelerator pedal operation speed dAPO, and the same target vehicle speed offset amount tVSPofs is used when the accelerator pedal is depressed and when the accelerator pedal is released, but these are set individually. It goes without saying that you can do it.
Then, the target vehicle speed offset

FIG. 7 shows the relationship between the vehicle speed aVSP and the target acceleration tACC for each accelerator pedal depression amount APO. The target acceleration tACC is set to increase as the accelerator pedal depression amount APO increases.
In order to cope with a decrease in achievable acceleration due to an increase in running resistance as the vehicle speed increases, in FIG. 7, if the accelerator pedal depression amount is the same, the target acceleration tACC decreases as the vehicle speed increases. Set to.
[0029]
The integration processing unit 42 calculates the target vehicle speed tVSP based on the control execution flag fSTART, the actual vehicle speed aVSP, the target acceleration tACC, the target vehicle speed offset amount tVSPofs, and the target vehicle speed offset execution flag fVofs. 42 performs processing as shown in FIG.
First, in step S11, it is determined whether the control execution flag fSTART is 1 or 0. If the control execution flag fSTART is 0, that is, the driving force control switch 21 (see FIGS. 1 and 2) is turned off, or the brake switch If 20 is ON (during braking), the process proceeds to step S12, in which the values of the vehicle speed aVSP are substituted for the target vehicle speed tVSP and the previous value of the target vehicle speed tVSP obtained in the previous control cycle, respectively, and these are initialized.
[0030]
On the other hand, if the control execution flag fSTART is determined to be 1 in step S11, that is, if the driving
If the target vehicle speed offset execution flag fVofs is not 1 (if it is 0), the target vehicle speed is not offset, so the process proceeds to step S14, and a value obtained by adding the target acceleration tACC to the previous value of tVSP is set as the target vehicle speed tVSP. The value is updated to the target vehicle speed tVSP value obtained by the current calculation.
[0031]
If it is determined in step S13 that the target vehicle speed offset execution flag fVofs is 1, the control proceeds to step S15 because the target vehicle speed is offset, and the polarity of the accelerator pedal operation speed dAPO described above with reference to FIG. From (positive / negative), it is checked whether the accelerator pedal operation is an accelerator pedal depression operation or an accelerator pedal return operation.
As is apparent from the above description, when dAPO ≧ 0, the accelerator pedal operation is an accelerator pedal depression operation, and the accelerator pedal operation speed dAPO is the depression speed, and when dAPO <0, the accelerator pedal operation is performed. Is the accelerator pedal return operation, and the accelerator pedal operation speed dAPO is the return speed.
[0032]
If it is determined in step S15 that the accelerator pedal operation is an accelerator pedal depression operation, in step S16, a value obtained by adding the target vehicle speed offset tVSPofs to the previous value of tVSP and correcting the target vehicle speed tVSP (corrected target vehicle speed). And updates the previous value of tVSP to a value raised by the target vehicle speed offset amount tVSPofs.
Conversely, if it is determined in step S15 that the accelerator pedal operation is an accelerator pedal return operation, in step S17, a value obtained by subtracting the target vehicle speed offset tVSPofs from the previous value of tVSP is corrected to the target vehicle speed tVSP (corrected target vehicle speed tVSP). ), And updates the previous value of tVSP to a value reduced by the target vehicle speed offset amount tVSPofs.
When the offset of the target vehicle speed ends in step S16 or S17, the control proceeds to step S18, where the target vehicle speed offset execution flag fVofs is reset to 0.
[0033]
The target vehicle speed tVSP newly calculated as described above is output to the target driving force calculation unit 50 (see FIG. 2) and fed back to the target acceleration determination unit 41 (see FIG. 6) to calculate the target acceleration tACC. Provided.
[0034]
According to the method of obtaining the target vehicle speed tVSP as described above, the case where the accelerator pedal is depressed at the instant t1 as shown in FIG. 10 and the accelerator pedal depression amount APO rapidly increases with the change speed dAPO as shown in the figure will be described. Since the target vehicle speed tVSP is raised by the offset amount tVSPofs corresponding to the accelerator pedal depressing speed dAPO at the accelerator pedal depressing instant t1, the actual vehicle speed aVSP obtained as a result of the driving force control described below is represented by a two-dot chain line. Does not have a response delay Δt like the conventional actual vehicle speed (same as the actual vehicle speed aVSP in FIG. 9), and immediately rises immediately after the accelerator pedal depressing instant t1 without much delay from the instant t1. It does not make the driver feel a delay in acceleration.
FIG. 11 shows a time-series change of the target vehicle speed tVSP when the accelerator pedal depression amount APO is rapidly increased at a change speed dAPO higher than that of FIG. 10, and the target vehicle speed tVSP is set at the instant t1 when the accelerator pedal is depressed. Since the vehicle is raised by an even larger offset amount tVSPofs corresponding to the stepping speed dAPO, the actual vehicle speed aVSP can be reliably increased even by such rapid depression of the accelerator pedal, and the response delay Δt is large like the conventional actual vehicle speed indicated by the two-dot chain line. And does not immediately rise at the instant t1 when the accelerator pedal is depressed, so that the driver does not feel a delay in acceleration.
[0035]
Conversely, the case where the accelerator pedal is released at the instant t1 as shown in FIG. 13 and the accelerator pedal depression amount APO decreases rapidly with the change speed dAPO as shown in the drawing will be described. The target vehicle speed tVSP is obtained at the accelerator pedal release instant t1. Is reduced by the offset amount tVSPofs corresponding to the accelerator pedal return speed dAPO, the actual vehicle speed aVSP obtained as a result of the driving force control described below is reduced by the conventional actual vehicle speed indicated by the two-dot chain line (see FIG. 12). (Same as the actual vehicle speed aVSP), and does not have a large delay from the instant t1 when the accelerator pedal is returned, and immediately drops immediately at that instant without causing the driver to feel a shift delay.
FIG. 14 shows a time-series change of the target vehicle speed tVSP when the accelerator pedal depression amount APO is sharply reduced at a higher change speed dAPO than in the case of FIG. 13, and the target vehicle speed tVSP is set at the accelerator pedal return instant t1. Since the offset amount tVSPofs is further reduced by the larger offset amount tVSPofs corresponding to the return speed dAPO, the actual vehicle speed aVSP can be surely increased by such a rapid release of the accelerator pedal, as in the conventional actual vehicle speed indicated by the two-dot chain line. , And does not immediately decrease at the instant t1 when the accelerator pedal is returned, so that the driver does not feel a delay in deceleration.

According to this embodiment, when the operation speed (depressing speed or return speed) dAPO of the accelerator pedal is equal to or higher than a predetermined speed, the offset amount tVSPofs is added to the target vehicle speed tVSP as described above with reference to FIGS. (When the accelerator pedal is depressed), the offset target amount tVSPofs is subtracted from the target vehicle speed tVSP as described above with reference to FIGS. 13 and 14 (when the accelerator pedal is returned), and the corrected target vehicle speed is obtained. Since the driving force is controlled so as to follow the following, the following operational effects can also be obtained.
That is, when the accelerator pedal is depressed, the increase in the actual vehicle speed aVSP is accelerated by the target vehicle speed offset amount tVSPofs as is apparent from a comparison between FIGS. 10 and 11 and FIG. 9, and the driver depresses the accelerator pedal. It is possible to prevent the user from feeling uncomfortable that the vehicle is accelerated with a great delay from (acceleration intention).
Conversely, during the accelerator pedal return operation, the decrease in the actual vehicle speed aVSP is accelerated by the target vehicle speed offset amount tVSPofs as is apparent from the comparison between FIGS. 13 and 14 and FIG. It is possible to prevent the user from feeling uncomfortable that the vehicle is decelerated greatly delayed from the operation (intention to decelerate).
[0050]
According to the present embodiment, the target vehicle speed offset amount tVSPofs is increased as the accelerator pedal operation speed dAPO increases, as illustrated in FIG.
The faster the accelerator pedal operation speed dAPO is, the more the driver feels the acceleration delay or the deceleration delay, and this feeling of acceleration delay or deceleration delay can be reliably eliminated at any accelerator pedal operation speed dAPO. it can.
[0051]
Furthermore, according to the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5, the target vehicle speed offset amount tVSPofs is set to 0 when the accelerator pedal operation speed dAPO is less than the set value.
The target vehicle speed is corrected unnecessarily during slow accelerator pedal operation (a region where the accelerator pedal operation speed dAPO is low) such that the above-described feeling of acceleration delay or deceleration delay due to accelerator pedal operation does not actually pose a problem. However, it is possible to avoid stupidity in which this correction causes a problem.
