Abstract
Description
【0001】
t=fV/Q

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
BACKGROUND OF THE
[0002]
[Prior art]
As one of the recycling methods of waste plastic, devolatilization of chlorine in a resin constituting the waste plastic and use of the waste plastic as a fuel have been performed. The devolatilization of chlorine is usually carried out by melting and decomposing waste plastic and degassing by converting chlorine contained in the resin into chlorine gas.
In general, a twin-screw extruder is used as a processing device for devolatilizing chlorine from the resin constituting the waste plastic. Since various kinds of resins are mixed in the waste plastic, when the resin is melted and decomposed to generate chlorine gas, the temperature is set to a high temperature of 320 to 340 ° C. For this reason, the melt viscosity of the waste plastic is low, and even if a twin-screw extruder is used, the motor capacity can be 1/8 to 1/10 of that of a normal twin-screw extruder for polyolefin. In the case of a twin-screw extruder, since only the vent zone is provided in the downstream part and the steps from material input to heating and melting, degassing, and extrusion are performed continuously, large-scale processing of waste plastic can be easily performed. It becomes possible.
[0003]
By the way, in order to devolatilize chlorine in the resin by the twin-screw extruder, the vent zone of the twin-screw extruder is lengthened, and the resin is retained in the machine for a long time of 5 to 15 minutes to be decomposed. It is necessary to generate chlorine gas. Therefore, in order to secure the residence time of the resin, a twin-screw extruder for dechlorination in which a plurality of kneading disks are incorporated in a screw in a cylinder is used. Since the kneading disk has a large kneading and stirring ability and a small feeding ability, it is suitable for enhancing the effect of dechlorination by the twin-screw extruder.
When a screw of a twin-screw extruder for dechlorination is configured by incorporating a plurality of kneading disks in such a manner, usually, the kneading disks are arranged so that adjacent ones intersect with a phase angle of 90 °. Incorporated in If the phase angle is reduced and incorporated in the forward screw direction, the feed capability is generated, and the residence time of the resin is shortened. In addition, if the resin is incorporated in the reverse screw direction, the resistance against the flow of the resin will occur, so that the resin may overflow from a vent zone provided on the upstream side of the kneading disk installation part. Depending on the operating conditions and the like, a part may be incorporated in a reverse screw state, but in general, a kneading disk orthogonal method having a phase angle of 90 ° is used as described above. The kneading disk orthogonal method is particularly excellent in the stirring action.
[0004]
Conventionally, a twin-screw extruder incorporating a kneading disk similar to a kneading disk for a kneading machine has been used for a waste plastics fueling treatment apparatus. That is, the kneading disc was merely a flat plate. Then, in order to extend the residence time of the resin in the twin-screw extruder and enhance the dechlorination effect, the number of kneading disks is increased or the diameter of the screw is increased.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional apparatus for converting waste plastic into a fuel using a kneading disk, there is a problem that the entire apparatus becomes large in proportion to the amount of processing. That is, in order to lengthen the residence time of the resin in the twin-screw extruder, it is necessary to incorporate a large number of kneading disks into the screw, but this increases the overall length of the twin-screw extruder. Otherwise, the need to provide a long vent zone requires the use of long screws, making the twin screw extruder extremely long. In addition, increasing the diameter of the screw naturally increases the size of the entire apparatus. As a result, the price of the device becomes high.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object thereof is to increase the residence time of a resin in a twin-screw extruder without increasing the length of the entire apparatus. It is an object of the present invention to obtain an inexpensive waste plastic fuel conversion treatment device having a high dechlorination effect.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve this object, the present invention provides a waste plastic fueling treatment apparatus for converting waste plastic into fuel using a twin screw extruder in which a plurality of kneading disks are incorporated into a screw. In this case, the one provided with a hollow hole at the center thereof is used. The hollowed hole is formed so that only the contour portion of the kneading disk, that is, only the front end portion, the peripheral portion of the shaft hole, and the side portion remain.
[0008]
Since the kneading disk whose central portion is hollowed out has a small cross-sectional area perpendicular to the screw axis, the twin-screw extruder incorporating such a kneading disk in the screw has a large space volume in the cylinder. Become. The residence time of the resin in the twin-screw extruder is proportional to the volume of space in the cylinder. Therefore, the use of a kneading disk having a hollow central portion increases the residence time of the resin. As a result, it is possible to reduce the number of kneading disks incorporated, and it is not necessary to lengthen the entire length of the screw.
In addition, since the contour of the kneading disk is left, the stirring action is not affected.
[0009]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

Thus, chlorine in the resin constituting the waste plastic is removed, and the resin is extruded from the twin-screw extruder. Since almost no chlorine remains in the extruded resin, it can be used as fuel.

The total volume of the hollow 9 provided in each of the kneading disks 4, 4,... Assuming that the size of the hollow 9 is expanded to a size sufficient to secure the necessary strength of the kneading disk 4, the total volume is equal to the internal volume of the
[0016]
【The invention's effect】
As is apparent from the above description, according to the present invention, the kneading disc incorporated in the twin-screw extruder for the fuel plasticizer for waste plastic is provided with a cutout hole as long as the stirring action is not affected. The resin can be retained in the twin-screw extruder for a long time. Therefore, the waste plastic can be sufficiently decomposed, and the chlorine in the resin can be efficiently devolatilized.
Also, since the number of kneading disks incorporated in the screw can be reduced in order to retain the resin for a long time, it is not necessary to lengthen the screw to incorporate a large number of kneading disks. Can be prevented. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the cost of the waste plastic fuel treatment apparatus.
