Description
【0001】

To=Ti+Ta=Ti+Kt・Im ……(a)
【0029】
To=Ti+Kt・Im+(Jδ”−Cδ’) ……(b)
γ=(To */Gy *)/(To’/Gy’) ……(c)
【0034】
To=γ・To’ ……(d)

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0003]
Based on this basic control, various compensation logics are used for various contradictory phenomena and phenomena requiring improvement in order to increase the assist response or conversely avoid being too sensitive to torque fluctuations. It is about to be put to practical use.
However, since the above basic control is an open control system with respect to “steering torque”, it has the following essential problems (1) to (5).
[0004]
(1) Assist is also applied to the torque due to the friction between the
[0005]
(2) As a countermeasure of the above (1), it is conceivable to provide a dead zone in the neutral region of the assist map so that the assist force is not generated in the neutral region, but the dead zone corresponding to the friction is appropriately set. Is required. That is, since the friction varies depending on the gear, if the set value of the dead zone is smaller than the total sum of the frictions, the problem will not be solved. If the set value is large, the response delay at the start of steering and the feeling of discontinuity of the steering will be felt.
(3) Moreover, even if the above-mentioned dead zone is properly set, there remains a serious problem that the wobble during steering is not eliminated.
(4) In the case of a column electric power steering having many frictional elements, it is particularly difficult to set a dead zone.
(5) In the steering transient state, the relationship between the steering torque and the self-aligning torque (SAT) is not unique, and it takes time to reach a steady state (stabilize) (similarly when the SAT fluctuates). Therefore, the above problem (3) is promoted.
[0006]
The inventor paid attention to configuring a torque feedback system for the steering torque in order to solve the above-mentioned problem caused by the open control system for the "steering torque". Here, as an ideal torque feedback system, the torque (or axial force) actually acting on the tire side is detected, and the detected value is controlled so as to approach the target torque. Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open Publication No. H11-163873 discloses a technique for controlling a detected steering torque to follow a target torque. Patent Literature 1 discloses, as a conventional technique, a device that sets a target steering torque according to a steering angle and a vehicle speed, determines an assist current command value based on the steering torque, the target steering torque, and the motor current to control a motor (hereinafter, referred to as a device). "Prior art 1" is described (see paragraph [0014] of Patent Document 1).
Patent Document 1 points out that Prior Art 1 can provide a stable feeling against a decrease in road surface reaction force (see paragraph [0015] of Patent Document 1).
[0008]
However, in Patent Literature 1, in the prior art 1, the target steering torque is uniquely determined and controlled with respect to the vehicle speed and the steering angle even when the road surface reaction force changes. The problem is that the road surface information is not transmitted to the driver (it is difficult to transmit), for example, the steering feeling is the same as when traveling on a dry asphalt road even when driving, and the steering feeling is unnatural. (See paragraphs [0016] to [0018] of Patent Document 1).
[0009]
In view of this, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. H11-157572 discloses a device for estimating a reaction force on a road surface based on a motor current value or a motor current value and a steering torque with respect to a target torque, and estimates an input steering angle, vehicle speed, and the like. [Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention provides a motor provided in the middle of a steering mechanism from a steering member to a steered wheel and providing an assist torque, a torque sensor for detecting a steering torque on the steering member side of the motor, a target steering torque generated And a means for controlling the motor based on a deviation between the detected torque of the torque sensor and the motor. The motor is controlled based on a deviation between the generated target steering torque and the detected torque of the torque sensor. , A torque feedback system is formed.
[0014]
Further, in the present invention, in order to determine the target steering torque, a means for calculating an output torque based on the detected torque and the assist torque, and an output which defines the target steering torque corresponding to the output torque in advance. Means for obtaining the target steering torque from the output torque based on the side torque-target steering torque relationship information. By calculating the output side torque in this way, it is possible to obtain (an approximate value of) the torque corresponding to the axial force applied to the tire side without directly detecting it with a sensor or the like. Moreover, in the present invention, the target steering torque corresponding to the output torque is specified in advance by the output torque-target steering torque relation information, and if the output torque is calculated, the target steering torque can be easily determined. Can be. Here, the "output side torque-target steering torque relationship information" can be embodied as map data that uniquely defines the correspondence between the two, or as a functional expression that uniquely defines the relationship between the two.
[0015]
It should be noted that also in the
However, in the
On the other hand, in the present invention, the output torque acting on the wheel side is calculated based on the detected torque and the assist torque, and the target steering torque is unambiguously determined from the output torque by the output torque-target steering torque relation information. Therefore, if the output torque can be calculated, the target steering torque can be easily determined.
[0016]
Several examples are assumed for obtaining the output torque according to the present invention. For example, as the simplest example, the output torque can be calculated as the sum of the detected torque and the assist torque. That is, the output-side torque T o, the detected torque T i, when the motor assist torque and T a, expressed as T o = T i + T a .
The assist torque of the motor can be obtained, for example, from the motor current and the motor torque constant. In this case, the assist torque can be obtained by detecting the motor current. That is, when the motor current I m, the torque constant of the motor and K t, the T a = K t · I m . Therefore, it is T o = T i + K t · I m.

Further, the dynamic state (the state affected by the dynamics (inertia or viscosity) of the system) such as fast turning steering is not considered only with the detected torque and the assist torque. For example, while the steering member (the steering wheel) is being cut, the detected torque is added with the viscosity, so that the detected torque becomes larger than a static value (the detected torque includes the viscous torque). ), Since the output torque is calculated based on the detected torque, the output torque also increases. As a result, the target steering torque is determined by the large output side torque, so that the target steering torque is set higher than an assumed value, and the steering torque to be input from the steering member increases, and the steering becomes heavy.
Also, at the moment of turning back, the detected torque is added to the inertia, so that the detected torque becomes larger than a static value (the detected torque includes the torque of the inertia), and the target steering torque becomes The value is set higher than the assumed value, and the steering torque to be input from the steering member increases, and the steering becomes heavy.
[0018]
Therefore, it is preferable that the output-side torque is calculated such that the influence of the inertia and / or the viscosity of the system is excluded from the sum of the detected torque and the assist torque, and the influence is excluded. The effect of inertia (torque for inertia) occurs, for example, at the moment of turning back, and can be obtained from the inertia of the steering system and the steering angular acceleration. The effect of viscosity (torque for viscosity) is, for example, cut in It occurs on the way and can be obtained from the viscosity of the steering system and the steering angular velocity.
[0019]
In order to calculate the output side torque, various detection values (for example, the above detection torque, motor current, steering angular acceleration, steering angular velocity, etc.) are required. If it fluctuates due to fluctuations or the like, the output torque calculated based on these fluctuations also fluctuates, and consequently the target steering torque fluctuates.
Therefore, a means for correcting the calculated output torque based on the vehicle behavior state is provided, and the target steering torque is obtained based on the corrected output torque, so that the target torque is compensated for in a state where the fluctuation of the output torque is compensated. The steering torque can be determined. Here, as the vehicle behavior state, a lateral acceleration, a yaw rate, a side slip angle, or the like can be used.
[0020]
In order to correct the output side torque, for example, a “ratio of the output side torque to the vehicle behavior state” as a desired characteristic is defined in advance and compared with the actual “ratio of the output side torque to the vehicle behavior state”. , A correction coefficient, and a correction output torque can be obtained by the correction coefficient.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

[0028]
Eventually, the output-side torque T o can be determined based on the following equation (a).
T o = T i + T a = T i + K t · I m ...... (a)
[0029]
As described above, without detecting the output side torque To directly determined by calculation, that the said output torque T o on the basis of the
[0030]
FIG. 5 shows another example for obtaining the output torque To. In the example of FIG. 3, only the static state is considered, but in the example of FIG. 5, a dynamic state such as fast switching is considered. Here, considering the dynamics (inertia, viscosity) of the system, and calculates the output-side torque T o. The inertia downstream of the torsion bar (unsprung inertia of the steering system) is J, the viscosity downstream of the torsion bar (unsprung viscosity of the steering system) is C, the steering angular velocity is δ ', and the steering angular acceleration is δ. ", The inertia torque is Jδ", and the viscous torque is Cδ '. Therefore, the output torque taking these factors into consideration can be obtained based on the following equation (b).
T o = T i + K t · I m + (Jδ "-Cδ ') ...... (b)
Note that the steering angular velocity δ ′ and the steering angular acceleration δ ″ can be obtained by calculation from the steering angle δ.
As described above, the output-side torque T o is determined, as in the example of FIG. 3, it is possible to determine the target steering torque T i *. Here, since the decided output torque T o in view of the dynamic state, an appropriate steering feeling can be obtained even at the moment of the middle and crosscut going trim the
[0031]
FIG. 6 shows still another example for obtaining the output torque To.
If the data (detected torque T i , steering angle δ, motor current Im ), etc., which are the basis for obtaining the output torque To, change over time due to offset / gain fluctuations, etc., this must be corrected. The target steering torque T i * cannot be determined properly.
[0032]
In this example, a vehicle behavior state value when the vehicle is in a steady turning state is used as a correction coefficient for performing the correction. That is, the
[0033]
If the value of T o / Gy when the basic data for determining the output side torque T o has changed (T o '/ G y' ), the correction coefficient γ be determined based on the following equation (c) Can be. Incidentally, T o 'is the output-side torque before correction, Gy' is detected lateral acceleration when the vehicle is in the steady turning state.
γ = (T o * / G y *) / (T o '/ G y') ...... (c)
[0034]
Thus, corrected output side torque T o can be determined based on the following equation (d).
T o = γ · T o '(d)
Therefore, the (T o '/ G y' ) even if it does not match the desired characteristic (T o * / G y * ), when in the steady turning of the vehicle, the output-side torque is properly corrected .
[0035]
When the corrected output torque T o is obtained, as in the example of FIG. 3, the target steering torque T i * is determined to correct the
In FIG. 6 shows the correction coefficient γ calculation functions as a correction
Further, (T o '/ G y ') and (T o * / G y * ) is not limited as long as the relationship between the output-side torque and lateral acceleration (vehicle behavior state) is defined, specifically as a value, it may be a (G y '/ T o' ) and (G y * / T o * ). Further, the vehicle behavior state is not limited to the lateral acceleration, and may be a yaw rate or the like.
