<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thinning razor which allows even a beginner or an inexperienced person to thin hair to be used safely. <P>SOLUTION: This thinning razor is composed of a grip portion of a C-shape and a thin blade portion fixed to one free end of the grip portion. The blade portion has a flat V- or U-shape, and the edge of the blade portion is formed along the inside edge of the V- or U-shape. 【従来の技術】
ラインセニングやインナーセニング等のセニングは、頭髪の量感調整や毛密度調整を行うことによって、頭髪に毛束感を与えたり、毛先に動きのあるスタイルを作るときに必要なカット技術である。このようなセニングには和式剃刀や理美容シザースが用いられていた。

和式剃刀を用いてセニングする場合、毛髪に対する刃の角度や当て具合を調節することでカット量を調整するため、直線的なカットになり易く、毛束感や毛先への動きを与え難いものであった。一方、シザースを用いてセニングする場合、シザースの開き具合を調節することでカット量を調整できるため、細かな調整を行うことができるという利点を有している。しかしながら、カット量の調整が開き具合に左右されるため、開き具合とカット量の関係を経験的に会得していなければならなかった。

【発明の実施の形態】
【実施例１】
