Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Western style toilet bowl and its installation structure raising the manufacturing yield of the Western style toilet bowl and facilitating connection work between an inflow pipe of a drain socket and piping for drainage from various sources. <P>SOLUTION: The rear face or side face of the Western style toilet bowl 10 made of earthenware is provided with an almost vertical vertical face 50, and a nearly horizontal extended face 52 extended toward the rear or side of the Western style toilet bowl 10 from the lower part of the vertical face 50. 本発明は、洋風便器及びその設置構造に係り、特に後面に管材の挿通用の開口を備えた洋風便器と、この開口に排水ソケットの流入管を挿通させた洋風便器設置構造に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
洋風便器の排水口を排水ソケットの上向きの嵌合口に上方から差し込むようにして洋風便器をトイレルーム床面に設置した構造は周知（例えば特開２０００−２６５５３０号）である。この排水ソケットはトイレルームの床等の排水管に接続されており、洋風便器から排出される汚水は、その排水口から排水ソケットを介して排水管に流出する。

近年、この排水ソケットに枝管（雑排水受入用の流入管）を設け、手洗器等からの雑排水用配管を該流入管に接続し、手洗排水等を該排水ソケットへ排出することが行われている。

第２図はかかる流入管付き排水ソケット及び洋風便器をトイレルームに設置した状態を示す縦断面図、第３図は第２図の排水ソケット付近の拡大図、第４図は第２，３図の洋風便器の後面を示す斜視図である。

陶器製の洋風便器１０Ａの前部に設けられた鉢部１２は、トラップ部１４を介して排水口１６に連通している。洋風便器１０Ａの後部上面には、鉢部１２内に鉢洗浄水を供給するためのロータンク１８が設置されている。

洋風便器１０Ａの台座部２０内のトイレルーム床面上に排水ソケット２２が設置されている。この排水ソケット２２は、上部に上向きの嵌合口２４を備え、下部に流出口２６と流入管２８とを備えている。この流出口２６は、横引管３０、エルボ３２を介して床排水管３４に接続されている。

流入管２８は、排水ソケット２２の側部後面から洋風便器１０Ａの後方に向って延出した枝管状のものである。

洋風便器の後面には、この流入管２８や、該流入管２８に接続された雑排水用配管（図示略）が引き通される切欠部３６が設けられている。この切欠部３６は、洋風便器１０Ａの後部下端面から上方に向って切り欠かれた形状となっている。

この洋風便器１０Ａをトイレルームの床面上に据え付けるに際しては、予め排水ソケット２２、横引管３０及びエルボ３２を設置しておく。また、排水ソケット２２の嵌合口２４にはパッキン３８を装着しておく。なお、排水ソケット２２はビス（図示略）によってトイレルームの床面に固定されている。

この状態で、洋風便器１０Ａを上方からトイレルームの床面上に静かに降ろし、この際、排水口１６が嵌合口２４内に差し込まれるように洋風便器１０Ａを下降させる。その後、洋風便器１０Ａをトイレルーム床面にボルト又はビス（図示略。第４図の符号４０は、このボルト又はビスの挿通用の孔を示す。）によって固定する。さらにその後、流入管２８に雑排水用配管を接続する。

ところが、この洋風便器１０Ａは、切欠部３６が設けられているため、焼成時に第４図の矢印Ａ方向に股裂き状に広がり易い。即ち、陶器製の洋風便器１０Ａは、坏土スラリーを石膏型等の成形型内に供給して成形し、脱型、乾燥、釉掛けの工程を経た後、焼成することにより製造されるのであるが、この焼成時に、それ自身の荷重や焼成時の収縮によって切欠部３６が左右に押し広げられ易い。このため、この切欠部３６を設けた洋風便器１０Ａは、製造歩留りが低くなるという短所がある。

そこで、第５，６図の洋風便器１０Ｂのように、切欠部３６の代りに開口４４を設けることもある。洋風便器１０Ｂは、後部下端部に、開口４４の左右両側を繋ぐ橋絡部４２を備えている。この洋風便器１０Ｂであれば、焼成時に後部が股裂き状に広がることがなく、製造歩留りが高い。

しかしながら、この第５，６図の構成にあっては、洋風便器１０Ｂを据え付けるべくトイレルーム床面上に下降させるときに、流入管２８が橋絡部４２に当らないようにするために、流入管２８を第２〜４図の場合よりも短くする必要がある。このため、洋風便器１０Ｂをトイレルームの床面上に据え付けた場合、第５図の通り、流入管２８が開口４４の奥側に引込んだ状態となり、雑排水用配管と流入管２８との接続作業が難しいものとなる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は、上記従来の問題点を解決し、洋風便器の製造歩留りが高くなり、しかも排水ソケットの流入管と雑排水管との接続作業も容易に行うことができる洋風便器及びその設置構造を提供することを目的とする。

本発明の洋風便器は、後面もしくは側面に管材の挿通用の開口が設けられた洋風便器において、該開口が設けられた後面又は側面に、上下方向面と、該上下方向面の下部から洋風便器外方に向って延出する延出面とが設けられており、該開口は、該上下方向面から該延出面にかけて連なって設けられていることを特徴とするものである。

また、本発明の洋風便器設置構造は、トイレルームの床面に排水ソケットが設置されると共に、該排水ソケットに被さるように洋風便器が該床面に設置され、該洋風便器の排水口が該排水ソケットの上向きの嵌合口に上方から差し込まれており、該排水ソケットは、洋風便器後方もしくは側面方向に向って延出した雑排水を受け入れるための流入管を備えている洋風便器の設置構造において、該洋風便器は上記本発明の洋風便器であり、該流入管の先端は、該洋風便器の前記開口を通って洋風便器外部に配置されていることを特徴とするものである。

かかる本発明の洋風便器及びその設置構造にあっては、流入管あるいは雑排水管を洋風便器後面に通すために、切欠部ではなく開口が設けられているので、洋風便器の焼成時に洋風便器後面又は側面が股裂き状に左右に広がることがなく、洋風便器の製造歩留りが高い。

また、この開口は、洋風便器の延出面から上下方向面にわたって設けられているので、洋風便器をトイレルームの床面上に据え付けるに際し、流入管が延出面の開口を通り抜けて洋風便器外方に突出するようになる。このため、流入管と雑排水用配管との接続作業を洋風便器外において容易に行うことができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を参照して本発明の実施の形態について説明する。第１図（ａ）は流入管付き排水ソケット及び洋風便器をトイレルームに設置した状態を示す排水ソケット付近の縦断面図、第１図（ｂ）は第１図（ａ）の洋風便器の後面を示す斜視図である。

陶器製の洋風便器１０の後面には、略鉛直な上下方向面５０と、該上下方向面５０の下部から洋風便器１０の後方に向って延出する略水平な延出面５２とが設けられている。この上下方向面５０の上下方向の中央付近から延出面５２の後端手前までにわたり、開口６０が設けられている。なお、上下方向面５０は鉛直面であってもよく、下部ほど便器後方となるように若干傾斜していてもよい。また、下部ほど便器前方となるように若干傾斜していてもよい。上下方向面５０は、平面であってもよく、若干凸又は凹に湾曲していてもよい。

この洋風便器１０をトイレルームの床面上に据え付けるに際しては、前記従来例と同じく、予め排水ソケット２２、横引管３０及びエルボ３２（第１，２図では図示略）を設置しておく。また、排水ソケット２２の嵌合口２４にはパッキン３８を装着しておく。この状態で、洋風便器１０を上方からトイレルームの床面上に静かに降ろし、排水口１６を嵌合口２４内に差し込む。その後、洋風便器１０をトイレルーム床面にボルト又はビスによって固定する。さらにその後、流入管２８に雑排水用配管を接続する。
