dutyave =(|DUTY(i)|+|DUTY(i−1)|+…+|DUTY(i−n)|)/(n+1)…(1)
【0045】
nmtave =(NMTR(i)+NMTR(i−1)+…+NMTR(i−n))/(n+1) …(2)
【0053】

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As a technique using an electric motor for controlling the intake air amount in an internal combustion engine, a technique using an electric motor for opening and closing control of an intake valve and / or an exhaust valve of the internal combustion engine is further known. That is, in an internal combustion engine having a so-called variable valve mechanism capable of changing the state of the opening / closing operation of an intake valve and / or an exhaust valve, a configuration using an electric motor to realize the variable valve mechanism is known. Also in such a case, the motor may be overheated due to the operation of the motor, which may cause inconvenience. However, when an electric motor is used for opening and closing control of an intake valve and / or an exhaust valve, a configuration for suppressing overheating of the motor has not been sufficiently studied, and a technique for suppressing overheating of the electric motor is desired. I was
[0006]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described conventional problems, and has an object to provide a technique for suppressing excessive heat generation of an electric motor in an internal combustion engine including a variable valve mechanism using an electric motor. .
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems and Their Functions and Effects]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention is a control device for controlling an internal combustion engine,
With a motor, the valve operating characteristic of at least one of the intake valve and the exhaust valve of the internal combustion engine, a valve operating characteristic changing unit that changes using the electric motor,
An overheat state detection unit that acquires information about an overheat state of the electric motor,
A control unit for controlling the opening and closing of the valve;
With
The control unit includes:
A first mode for driving the valve operating characteristic changing unit in accordance with the operating state of the internal combustion engine to change the valve operating characteristic;
A second mode for fixing the valve operating characteristics to a predetermined state when it is determined that the electric motor is in a state of overheating;
The gist is to have
[0008]
According to the control device for an internal combustion engine of the present invention configured as described above, when it is determined that the electric motor is in a state of overheating, the valve operating characteristics are fixed to a predetermined state and the valve opening / closing control is performed. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the electric motor from being driven to change the valve operating characteristics and to be heated to a higher temperature. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the performance of the motor from being deteriorated due to the high temperature of the motor.
[0009]
In the control device for an internal combustion engine of the present invention,
Further comprising an environmental temperature detection unit for acquiring information on the environmental temperature of the electric motor,
The control unit may change a condition for determining whether or not the state leads to the overheating according to the information acquired by the environmental temperature detection unit.
[0010]
Since the temperature-raising state (temperature-raising speed and the degree of temperature rise) of the motor changes depending on the environmental temperature at which the motor is provided, by changing the condition for determining whether or not the state leads to overheating based on the environmental temperature, It is possible to prevent the operation of fixing the valve operating characteristics from being performed unnecessarily. When valve opening / closing control is performed with the valve operating characteristics fixed, the operating efficiency of the internal combustion engine may decrease. However, by not unnecessarily fixing the valve operating characteristics, the operating efficiency of the internal combustion engine can be reduced. Can be suppressed. In particular, when determining whether the motor is in a state of overheating by analogy based on the operating state (input and output states) of the motor, the operation of fixing the valve operating characteristics is wastefully performed. The effect of preventing this is increased. The ambient temperature can be, for example, the temperature of an internal combustion engine that transmits generated heat to an electric motor.
[0011]
In the control device for an internal combustion engine according to the present invention, the overheat state detection unit may acquire information on an overheat state of the electric motor based on a rotation speed of the electric motor. Alternatively, in the control device for an internal combustion engine of the present invention, the overheat state detection unit may acquire information on the overheat state of the electric motor based on an amount of current supplied to the electric motor within a predetermined time. With such a configuration, the overheating state of the motor can be determined without providing a temperature sensor that directly detects the temperature of the motor, and the configuration can be simplified.
[0012]
In the control device for an internal combustion engine of the present invention,
The operating state is an operating state that outputs power corresponding to a load request for the internal combustion engine,
In the first mode, the valve operating characteristics may be changed by driving the electric motor in response to the load request such that a desired intake air amount according to the operation state is realized.
[0013]
With such a configuration, when the load request fluctuates greatly, the motor is driven in accordance with the fluctuation, so that the motor is more likely to generate heat. However, by adopting the second mode, the motor becomes It is possible to prevent an overheating state.
[0014]
In the control device for an internal combustion engine of the present invention,
The valve operating characteristic changing unit may change the intake air amount by changing the opening / closing timing and / or the valve opening amount of the valve as the valve operating characteristic.
[0015]
With such a configuration, a desired intake air amount can be realized by changing the valve opening / closing timing and / or the valve operating characteristic that is the valve opening amount.
[0016]
In the control device for an internal combustion engine of the present invention,
Independently of the movement of the valve, further comprising an intake air amount adjustment unit that adjusts an intake air amount in the internal combustion engine,
The control unit sets the adjustment amount of the intake air amount adjustment unit and the valve operating characteristic in the first mode so that a desired intake air amount is obtained, and sets the air amount in the second mode. The adjustment amount of the adjustment unit may be set to a value different from the first mode.
[0017]
Thus, when the control unit performs the opening / closing control of the valve in the first mode, the operation of changing the valve operating characteristics and the operation of the intake air amount adjusting unit are adjusted so that a desired intake air amount is obtained. Therefore, the operation efficiency of the internal combustion engine can be further improved. When the control unit performs the opening / closing control of the valve in the second mode, the control unit sets the adjustment amount of the intake air amount adjustment unit to a value different from that in the first mode and adjusts the intake air amount, thereby achieving a desired amount. Output can be secured. Examples of the intake air amount adjusting section include a throttle valve in a vehicle using a normal gasoline engine as the internal combustion engine.
[0018]
The present invention can be realized in various forms other than the above. For example, the present invention can be realized in a form of an internal combustion engine having a variable valve mechanism, a control method of the internal combustion engine, or the like.
[0019]

E6. Modification 6:
The valve operating characteristics determined by the combination of the valve opening / closing timing and the valve opening amount include the valve lift amount, the operating angle, and the phase of the valve opening period (the position during the valve opening period, which accompanies a change in the crank angle when the valve is fully opened) Can be grasped as a combination of In the variable valve mechanism in the above-described embodiment, the valve lift amount and the operating angle can be changed. However, the variable valve mechanism is further changed so that the phase of the valve opening period can be changed simultaneously or independently. You may comprise.
[0063]
In addition to the valve lift and the valve operating angle, the configuration in which the phase of the valve opening period can be further changed is, for example, a configuration described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-263015 disclosed by the present applicant. Can be used. Here, the phase of the valve opening period can be changed by changing the relative position of the input section using a predetermined variable rotation phase difference actuator. In the configuration of the above publication, the rotary phase difference variable actuator is driven using an oil control valve. However, the present invention can be applied to a configuration using an electric motor instead of the oil control valve.
[0064]
Thus, the variable valve mechanism only needs to be able to change at least one of the valve lift amount, the operating angle, and the phase of the valve opening period. That is, a variable valve mechanism that can change only the valve opening / closing timing, or only the valve opening amount can be changed, or both the valve opening / closing timing and the valve opening amount can be changed. can do. If at least one of the intake valve and the exhaust valve has a variable valve operating mechanism as a valve operating characteristic changing unit that changes the valve operating characteristic using the power output by the electric motor, the same effect can be obtained by applying the present invention. Obtainable.
