Abstract
Description
【0001】
【0048】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a case for storing a recording medium on which game software and the like are recorded.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Currently, game software for home game machines is generally distributed in the form of a CD-ROM. For example, a CD-ROM is sold in a state of being housed in a relatively large paper housing. Since this housing is large in size, it is rare for homes to store the CD-ROM in a housing. For this reason, at home, the CD-ROM is often stored without being housed in a case.
[0003]
In order to improve such a state, it is desirable to store the CD-ROM separately in a case. Conventionally, a plastic case for storing a CD-ROM has been known. The front shape of this case is a square that is substantially inscribed in the CD-ROM, and the lid is pivotally opened from the lower main body about one side as a rotation axis so that the CD-ROM can be accommodated inside. . In order to prevent the CD-ROM from moving inside the case, a projecting portion that fits into the hollow portion of the CD-ROM is formed at the center of the lower body.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
However, since the case is small in size, there is a problem that a manual and the like cannot be stored together. In many cases, the housing that initially contains the game software is often stored without being thrown away. When accommodating a CD-ROM in the above-described case, it is necessary to separately store the housing.
[0005]
For example, it is conceivable to increase the size of the case so that the instructions and the disassembled housing can be stored inside. However, in this case, there is a problem that the rotatable lid becomes large, and the manufacturing cost becomes extremely large. It is also necessary to increase the strength of the hinge between the enlarged lid and the lower body.
A relatively large case for accommodating a storage medium such as a CD-ROM is disclosed in Patent Document 1, for example.
[0006]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 8-282768 (page (2), page (3) and FIG. 1)
[0007]
In the case disclosed in Patent Document 1, the storage medium can be accommodated between the back plate and the front plate by inserting the storage medium from the notch (insertion portion) without using the rotating lid.
However, in the case described above, the recording surface of the storage medium comes into contact with the surface of the back plate or the end of the center folded plate, and thus there is a problem that the recording medium may be scratched.
The present invention can store a disassembled housing and instructions together with a storage medium such as a CD-ROM, and can store a storage medium, particularly game software, in which the recording surface of the storage medium is less likely to be scratched. The purpose is to provide a case.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The object of the present invention has a thin rectangular parallelepiped hollow upper part, a thin rectangular parallelepiped hollow lower part, and a thin plate-shaped boundary part interposed therebetween, and the lower part is A body configured to be detachably attached to the upper portion and the boundary portion, wherein an upper surface of the boundary portion forms a bottom surface of the upper portion, and a lower surface thereof forms a top surface of the lower portion. An opening is formed in the upper portion on a predetermined side, and a storage medium receiving portion is provided for sliding a disk-shaped storage medium from the opening to receive the storage medium in a predetermined storage position. A side wall extending from the opening toward the other end, the side wall having an end conforming to the shape of the storage medium, and a guide rail disposed on the upper surface of the boundary along the lower end of the side wall. And the storage medium is contained And a regulating member for regulating the movement of the upper portion, wherein the lower portion has at least a portion of a side corresponding to a predetermined side of the upper portion, and a side wall along the other side. A storage medium storage case, wherein another storage portion is formed by a bottom surface of the lower portion, a side wall, and a lower surface of the boundary portion in a state where the lower portion is attached to the upper portion and the boundary portion. Is achieved by
[0009]
According to the invention, the storage surface of the storage medium is held by a guide rail that contacts its periphery. Therefore, when the storage medium is slid and held at the storage position, a space is formed between the area where the data on the recording surface is stored and the bottom surface of the storage medium storage unit, that is, the upper surface of the boundary. You. Therefore, the storage medium can be housed or taken out without damaging the area on the recording surface where the data is formed, such as scratches.
[0010]
Further, by allowing the upper part and the boundary part and the lower part to be detachably attachable, various things such as a space defined by the bottom surface and the side wall of the lower part and the bottom surface of the boundary part are provided. In addition, a housing (package) housing the game software can be disassembled or a manual for the game software can be stored.
[0011]
In a preferred embodiment, the regulating member presses against a side wall of a central portion on the opened side of the storage medium at the storage position, and protrudes toward each of the opposing side walls of the upper portion. It has a deformable projection. According to this embodiment, the storage medium is held by the protrusion from the side, and the movement of the storage medium is restricted. For example, the side wall may take a shape protruding toward the opposing side wall, and the protrusion may be formed there.
[0012]
In another preferred embodiment, the upper portion has a cover partially covering a space defined by the side wall, and the regulating member is an elastically deformable tongue extending from the cover. And a tongue having a projection at a lower end thereof for engaging with a side wall of the central hole of the storage medium in the storage position. According to this embodiment, the movement of the storage medium can be restricted from above by engaging the central hole of the storage medium at the accommodation position with the projection of the tongue.
[0013]
In a more preferred embodiment, the tongue is an extension extending in an arc from the position where the projection is formed, and the extension of the extension is substantially the same as the portion other than the portion where the projection is formed. Having a part. When taking out the storage medium, the user can release the engagement between the protrusion and the side wall of the central hole of the storage medium by lightly lifting the extension with a finger. Also, it is desirable that the cross-sectional shape of the projection is gently drawn on the distal end side while being substantially perpendicular to the lower surface of the tongue piece on the other side.
[0014]
In a preferred embodiment, the cover is further cut out in an arc shape near the opening so that the storage medium is initially placed in the storage medium storage section when the storage medium is stored. Therefore, the user only has to arrange the storage medium on the storage medium accommodating portion so that the notch coincides with the periphery of the storage medium, and then slide the storage medium.
[0015]
In another preferred embodiment, the upper portion further includes a memory card accommodating portion having side walls extending along four sides of a rectangular shape, and the memory card accommodating portion is provided on the opposing side wall in a memory position. It has a memory card regulating member for regulating the movement of the card. For example, the memory card regulating member is a protrusion formed on the upper part of one side wall, the first protrusion having a lower surface inclined upward toward the opposing side wall, and the central part of the other side wall. Preferably, the lower surface has one or more second protrusions that contact the upper surface of the memory card when the memory card is in the storage position.
[0016]
In a preferred embodiment, a V-shaped notch is formed on a bottom surface of the lower portion on a side corresponding to a predetermined side of the upper portion. The user can hold the notch in his hand and separate the lower part by separating it from the upper part and the border part.
[0017]
In a further preferred embodiment, the boundary portion has a handle extending to a side opposite to the predetermined side. This allows the user to carry the storage medium storage case by holding the handle in his hand. More preferably, the handle has a round hole for passing a ring or pipe at one end of the binder or pipe file and one or more elongated holes for passing one or more other rings or pipes of the binder or pipe file. Having. By passing a ring or a pipe through the round hole, the position of the storage medium storage case is determined when a binder or a pipe file is mounted. On the other hand, the provision of the elongated holes makes it possible to attach the storage medium storage case to various pipe files and binders such as two holes and four holes.
[0018]
In another preferred embodiment, a wall formed between the guide rail and the upper surface of the boundary portion is formed to be inclined inward. Thereby, even if the storage medium is placed obliquely, it is possible to prevent one end of the storage medium from touching the upper surface of the boundary while the storage medium is tilted. More preferably, at a lower portion of the wall, the wall is inclined such that a distance between the opposing walls is smaller than a diameter of the storage medium.
[0019]
