Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a position information estimating method for an information terminal and a terminal having a position information estimating function.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, development as personal information terminals such as portable telephones and PDAs has been remarkable, and wireless communication environments have been enriched with advances in networks and semiconductor technologies.
Conventionally, as means for acquiring position information, a mobile terminal having a wireless communication function has a position side function of communicating with a base station such as a communication facility, and a GPS (Global Positioning System) is provided to a mobile terminal which is a mobile terminal. ), Etc. (for example, see Patent Document 1).

[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when the location information of the base station is used as a conventional location information acquisition method of the mobile terminal, the location of the own terminal indicates a very wide range of the entire communication range of the base station, and it is possible to acquire more detailed location information. There is a problem that can not be.
As a method of solving this, a method of installing a large number of base stations having a very small communication range can be considered, but it is not realistic to input position information to a large number of base stations because it is very costly.
Further, when GPS is used as a means for acquiring the position information of the terminal itself, there is a problem that the terminal cannot be used underground or on a roof in addition to the above-mentioned problem.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the position information estimation method for an information terminal according to the present invention, a plurality of terminals are arranged at an interval capable of communicating with an adjacent terminal, and three terminals located at distant positions in the vicinity of the plurality of terminals have XY coordinates. A terminal having location information, and other terminals not having location information of XY coordinates, a terminal having no location information communicates with a terminal adjacent to each other, and finally a terminal having location information. The terminal that wants to collect and store the position information of the distance from the XY coordinate is based on the distance information of the terminals in the vicinity of the terminal from among the three terminals having the XY coordinate position information. A plurality of short distances are selected, and the terminal which has the shortest distance corresponding to each terminal having the XY coordinate position information is identified as the own terminal whose position information is to be known, and 1 is added thereto. The distance of your terminal The XY coordinate position of the own terminal is calculated from the relative position of the own terminal specified with respect to the terminal at the absolute position having the specific XY coordinate, and the obtained XY coordinate position is estimated as the position information of the own terminal. It was done.

According to the first embodiment of the present invention, among a plurality of terminals arranged in a grid, three terminals located at distant positions in the periphery have XY coordinate position information, and the other terminals have position information. In order not to have information, each terminal that does not have location information communicates with the terminal adjacent to each other, and finally collects and stores distance information from the location information of the terminal that has location information, A terminal that wants to know the position information of the XY coordinates selects a plurality of terminals having the smallest distance among the distances from the three terminals having the position information from the distance information of the terminals around the terminal, and selects each of the terminals having the position information. A terminal having a specific XY coordinate, which is an absolute coordinate, is determined by identifying a terminal having the shortest distance corresponding to the terminal and agreeing with each other as the own terminal whose position information is to be obtained, adding 1 to the distance of the own terminal. Know the relative position to The XY coordinate position of the own terminal is obtained by calculation from, and the obtained XY coordinate position is estimated as the position information of the own terminal. Even in places such as indoors, a terminal having no location information can estimate its own location information.
In addition, since a plurality of terminals are arranged at a distance that allows communication only with the vertically and horizontally adjacent terminals, the communication distance of the mobile terminal to the base station in the conventional position information acquisition method using the position information of the base station is known. Shorter than Even in such a case, since each terminal autonomously estimates the position of its own terminal, even if the communication distance of the base station is shortened and the installation amount is increased, there is no cost for inputting position information to the base station.

FIG. 5 is an explanatory diagram showing an arrangement of a plurality of terminals used in the position information estimating method according to
In the second embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5, 16 terminals are arranged at the same distance from each other, and three adjacent terminals form a triangle having an interior angle of 60 degrees. It is to be noted that, of the 16 terminals, the terminal three are peripheral terminals and the other terminals are terminal terminals as in the first embodiment.
[0013]
According to the second embodiment of the present invention, when 16 terminals are arranged at the same distance from each other and three adjacent terminals form a triangle having an interior angle of 60 degrees, the communication distance of the terminals (the terminals communicate with each other by wireless communication) If the possible distance) is between 1 times the minimum inter-terminal distance (interval between terminal installations) and 3 times the route, the desired result that the number of terminals closest to a terminal will not be more than 6 is obtained. Because it can be.
The reason is that in the first embodiment, 16 terminals are arranged in a grid pattern at equal distances. In this case, the communication distance of the terminals must be adjusted between 1 times the minimum inter-terminal distance and 2 times the route. The desired result is not obtained. This is because, when the communication distance of a terminal is twice or more the route of the minimum inter-terminal distance, the number of terminals closest to a certain terminal becomes six or more.
For example, when the communication distance of the terminal 222 in FIG. 2 is twice the route between the terminals, the terminal 222 moves eight

According to the fifth embodiment of the present invention, of a plurality of terminals arranged in a straight line, two terminals at both ends have distance position information, and the other terminals have position information. , Each terminal having no distance position information can communicate with two adjacent terminals, and the average value of the received position information of the distance between adjacent terminals is calculated as the distance of the own terminal. As the position information of the distance of the own terminal, the terminal information having the final distance converged after a lapse of time until all terminals having no position information have estimated the position information of the distance Since the estimation is performed, a terminal having no location information can estimate its own location information even in a place where GPS cannot be used, such as an underground or indoor location, as long as there is only a terminal having location information in the vicinity.

According to the sixth embodiment of the present invention, two terminals located at both ends of a plurality of terminals arranged in a straight line have distance position information, and the other terminals have position information. , Each terminal having no location information can communicate with the terminal adjacent to each other, and the location where the unique pulse signal representing the location information transmitted from the terminal having the location information is received. After smoothing the pulse signal, the terminal device having no information extracts a peak value equal to or higher than a predetermined threshold value, detects a pulse signal having a constant peak time, and determines its own position at a position in the cycle of the pulse signal. 【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, among a plurality of terminals arranged in a grid, three terminals located at distant positions in the periphery have XY coordinate position information, and the other terminals have position information. , Each terminal having no location information communicates with a terminal adjacent to each other, and finally, distance information is collected and stored from the location information of the terminal having the location information, and XY A terminal that wants to know the position information of coordinates selects a plurality of terminals each having the smallest distance among the distances from the three terminals having the position information from the distance information of the terminals in the vicinity, and each terminal having the position information Corresponding to each other at the shortest distance is identified as the own terminal whose position information is to be known, and 1 is added to the own terminal to determine the distance of the own terminal. Know relative position Calculated the XY coordinate position of the terminal itself, and estimated the obtained XY coordinate position as the position information of the terminal itself. There is an effect that a terminal having no location information can estimate its own location information even in a place such as indoors.
