【0043】

[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, it is considered that leg motor ability is an important ability to support human daily life. However, this ability tends to decline with age, so you need to pay attention to your ability on a daily basis. There is a device for measuring the exercise ability of such a leg. (For example, see Patent Document 1)
In Patent Document 1, as shown in FIG. 6, a measuring device for measuring the exercise performance of a leg using a cycle-type ergometer Aa is disclosed. Patent Document 1 discloses the force when pedaling a pedal 2a of a cycle-type ergometer. This is to measure the instantaneous power of the leg by measuring the speed.Since it is the measurement of the instantaneous power of the leg, the measurement result includes the speed element in addition to the muscle strength element. Can not accurately know the maximum muscle strength of the legs that can be exerted. Therefore, when training the muscle strength, there is a problem that it is difficult to perform appropriate training based on the measurement result.
[0003]
In addition, as a cycle type ergometer, the applicant has proposed in Japanese Patent Application No. 2002-99078 a type in which the maximum muscular strength of a leg is estimated by measuring the force and speed when padding a cycle type ergometer. Estimates the maximum muscular strength, but only shows whether the user's muscular strength is weakened, but cannot propose an improvement measure when the muscular strength is weakened.

According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, of the maximum muscular strengths of the left and right legs evaluated by the evaluation means, the load at the time of stepping on the smaller value is equal to the muscular force at the time of stepping on the larger value. The load amount is calculated so as to control the load means 17A. According to such a configuration, as a result of the measurement, when the maximum muscular strength of the left and right legs has a large difference (difference) and the balance of the left and right muscular strength is poor, the value of the maximum muscular strength of the left and right legs is By calculating a load amount such that the muscle force exerted when the smaller leg pedal is depressed is equal to the muscle force when the larger leg is depressed, and controlling the load means 17A, the muscle force of the left and right legs is calculated. [0023]
Using the above method, the data of hundreds of men and women of all ages are plotted on a graph with the actual age on the horizontal axis and the index value of muscle strength on the vertical axis for each gender, and the index of muscle strength and age are statistically averaged. The control means 4 stores the data as an evaluation reference value in place of an approximate curve. Then, the newly measured data is applied to an average approximate curve (evaluation reference value) of the index of the muscular strength to evaluate the muscular strength, whereby the age of the muscular strength can be obtained. If the obtained actual age is smaller than the age of the muscular strength of the evaluation reference value, the age of the muscular strength in the muscular strength index is said to be young, and if it is large, it is said that the age is old, and the user can be encouraged to exercise.

In controlling the load of the strength training, it is calculated and controlled from the maximum strength evaluated by the evaluation means 34.

An appropriate load at the time of training for increasing muscle strength is a load corresponding to 80% of the maximum muscle strength according to the conventional training theory. Thus, 80% of the maximum muscular strength evaluated by the evaluation means 34 in the muscular strength measurement is set as the target value of the load. In other words, the calculation function for calculating the amount of load for strength training calculates a torque value corresponding to 80% of the maximum muscle strength, and calculates the difference between the peak value of the torque exerted by depressing the pedal during strength training. D1 is calculated. Then, the
[0026]
In this way, the user can perform appropriate strength training with a force equivalent to 80% of his / her maximum muscle strength.
(Example 2)
In controlling the amount of load at the time of strength training, control is performed by calculating from the difference between the maximum strengths of the left and right legs evaluated by the evaluation means 34.
[0027]
The strength of the left and right legs should usually be approximately equal. However, depending on the person, the strength of the right and left legs may be biased due to a long-term special exercise or a difference in the frequency of use due to injury or the like. In such a case, it is desirable to train so that the muscle strength of the left and right legs is equal. Therefore, the braking force of the leg with the smaller maximum muscular strength of the left and right legs evaluated by the evaluation means 34 is increased by a value proportional to the difference between the maximum muscular strength and the braking force of the leg with the larger maximum muscular strength. Let it. Then, a difference D2 between the peak values of the torque exerted by the left and right legs is calculated. If there is a difference, a braking force proportional to the difference is further added when the leg with the smaller maximum muscular strength is depressed. The
[0028]
In this way, the user can perform appropriate strength training so that the left and right legs exert their strength equally.
(Example 3)
In the recumbent cycle type ergometer, the muscle used during the strength training is changed.

In this case, the load amount for the strength training is set (controlled) by controlling the
By the way, by calculating and controlling the amount of load so that the value of the muscular strength at the time of stepping on the leg is equal to the value of the muscular strength equivalent to 80% of the value of the maximum muscular strength evaluated by the evaluation means 34, the measurement result is obtained. Appropriate training based on can be performed. Incidentally, an appropriate load at the time of training for increasing muscle strength is a load corresponding to 80% of the maximum muscle strength according to the training theory.
[0031]
The load amount for the strength training is set (controlled) by calculating the load amount according to the difference between the maximum muscular strength values of the left and right leg strengths evaluated by the evaluation means 34 and controlling the load means 17A. In the case where there is a large difference (difference) between the maximum muscular strengths of the left and right legs as a result of the measurement and the balance of the left and right muscular strengths is poor, appropriate strength training is performed to maintain the balance of the muscular strengths of the left and right legs. be able to.
[0032]
In this case, of the maximum muscular strengths of the left and right legs evaluated by the evaluation means 34, the load amount at the time of stepping on the smaller value leg is set to be equal to the muscular force at the time of stepping on the larger value leg. It is calculated and controlled. As a result of the measurement, when the maximum muscular strength of the left and right legs has a large difference (difference) and the balance of the left and right muscular strength is poor, the value of the maximum muscular strength of the left and right legs is smaller. By calculating and controlling a load amount equal to the muscular strength exerted when the other leg is depressed with the pedal, it is possible to perform appropriate muscular strength training to maintain the muscular strength of the left and right legs.

【The invention's effect】
According to the first aspect of the present invention, a torque measuring means for measuring a torque generated in the pedal, a rotational speed measuring means for measuring a pedal rotational speed, a position measuring means for measuring a position of the pedal, and a load for applying a load to the pedal Means, a control means for controlling the load means, and a cycle type ergometer having an evaluation means for evaluating the maximum muscular strength of each of the right and left legs that can be exhibited by the user, the muscular strength measurement function, based on the measurement results of the muscular strength measurement Measurement function to calculate the amount of load for strength training and a strength training function to perform strength training by controlling the load means based on the calculation result of the amount of load, so that the torque generated on the pedal is measured. Strength measurement means for measuring a pedal rotation speed, and a position measurement means for measuring a pedal position. Can calculate the appropriate load for muscular strength training based on the muscular strength measurement results and the evaluation means that evaluates the maximum muscular strength of each of the left and right legs that the user can exert, and controls the load means based on the calculated load amount Therefore, there is an advantage that strength training can be performed based on an appropriate load.
[0037]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, in addition to the effect of the first aspect, the load for muscle strength training is controlled by calculating a load corresponding to the value of the maximum muscular strength evaluated by the evaluation means. Therefore, the value of the maximum muscle strength evaluated as a result of the muscle strength measurement can be reflected in the strength training, and there is an advantage that appropriate training can be performed based on the measurement result.
[0038]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, in addition to the effect of the second aspect, the value of the muscular strength at the time of stepping on the leg is made equal to the value of the muscular strength equivalent to 80% of the value of the maximum muscular strength evaluated by the evaluation means. Since the load amount is calculated and the load means is controlled, it is possible to calculate and control a load such that the leg can always exert a force equivalent to 80% of the obtained maximum muscular strength during the muscular strength training. There is an advantage that the appropriate training based on can be performed.
[0039]
According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, in addition to the effect of the first aspect, the load amount for the strength training is calculated by calculating a load amount according to the difference between the maximum muscular strength values of the right and left leg strengths evaluated by the evaluation means. Because the load means is controlled, the measurement results show that if the maximum muscular strength of the left and right legs has a large difference (difference) and the balance of the left and right muscular strength is poor, the muscular strength of the left and right legs is maintained. There is an advantage that strength training can be performed.
