TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an automobile wheel and an emergency traveling support that enable run-flat traveling, and more particularly, to an automobile wheel and an emergency traveling support that enhance a shock absorbing function during run-flat traveling.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Many technologies have been proposed to enable a certain degree of emergency running even when a pneumatic tire is punctured while the vehicle is running, due to market demands. Among these many proposals, there is one in which an emergency running support is inserted into a cavity of a pneumatic tire assembled with a rim and a punctured tire is supported by the emergency running support to enable run-flat running.
[0003]
As an automobile wheel equipped with this type of emergency traveling support, a highly stiff load support is mounted on the outer periphery of the rim, and a splittable wheel is provided to enable the load support to be attached to and detached from the rim. Some are used (for example, see Patent Document 1). Also, an automobile provided with an emergency traveling support composed of a pair of elastic rings arranged on the outer periphery of a rim and a ring-shaped load support extending in the tire circumferential direction over the elastic rings. A wheel has been proposed (for example, see Patent Document 2).
[0004]
However, in the former, it is required to ensure sufficient durability and airtightness at the joint surface of the splittable wheel, and there is a problem that a general-purpose wheel cannot be used. On the other hand, in the latter, although the general-purpose wheel can be used as it is, it is necessary to provide the load support with sufficient strength to support the load during run flat running, so that the shock absorbing function is significantly deteriorated. There's a problem.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
It is an object of the present invention to provide an automobile wheel and an emergency traveling support body that can use a general-purpose wheel as it is and that can improve an impact mitigation function during run flat traveling.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, an automobile wheel according to the present invention is a vehicle wheel having a pneumatic tire fitted to a rim of the wheel and an emergency traveling support in a cavity of the pneumatic tire. The body includes a pair of elastic rings arranged on the outer periphery of the rim, and a ring-shaped load support extending in the tire circumferential direction across the pair of elastic rings. A base portion straddling the pair of elastic rings, and a portion between the elastic rings of the base portion extending in a cantilever state on both outer sides in the tire axial direction to form a curved load supporting surface on the outer peripheral side. A buffer portion is provided.
[0008]
Further, the emergency traveling support of the present invention includes a pair of elastic rings arranged on the outer periphery of the rim, and a ring-shaped load support extending in the tire circumferential direction across the pair of elastic rings. The load support has a base portion straddling the pair of elastic rings and a portion between the elastic rings of the base portion extending in a cantilever state on both outer sides in the tire axial direction, and bending toward the outer peripheral side. And a buffer portion forming a load supporting surface.
[0009]
In the present invention, the emergency support is formed to have an outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the tread portion of the pneumatic tire so as to maintain a certain distance from the pneumatic tire, and the inner diameter is the inner diameter of the bead portion of the pneumatic tire. And are formed to have substantially the same dimensions. The emergency running support is assembled with the pneumatic tire together with the pneumatic tire in a state inserted into the cavity of the pneumatic tire to form a vehicle wheel. When a pneumatic tire is punctured while the vehicle wheel is mounted on a vehicle and the vehicle is running, the punctured and crushed tire is supported by the load supporting surface of the load support, so that run-flat running is possible.
[0010]
According to the present invention, the emergency traveling support includes a pair of elastic rings disposed on the outer periphery of the rim, and a ring-shaped load support extending in the tire circumferential direction across the pair of elastic rings. The general-purpose wheel can be used without any special processing. In addition, the load supporting body has a base portion straddling a pair of elastic rings, and a portion of the base portion between the elastic rings, which is cantilevered to both outer sides in the tire axial direction and curved to the outer peripheral side. By providing the buffer portion forming the support surface, it is possible to improve the shock absorbing function during run flat running. Moreover, in the above-mentioned emergency traveling support, the base portion of the load support deforms so as to spread outward in the tire axial direction when a load is applied, so that the bead portion of the pneumatic tire can be prevented from falling off the bead seat.
[0011]
In the present invention, the load support can be processed by various methods. For example, the load support can be integrally formed. It is also possible for the load support to consist of at least two segments and to join these segments together. These divided pieces may be joined to each other via a ring-shaped joined body. When the load support is constituted by at least two divided pieces as described above, it is possible to share parts. Further, the load support may be configured to be left-right asymmetrical according to the load distribution assumed during run flat traveling.

In an automobile wheel including a pneumatic tire having a tire size of 205 / 55R16 89V, a wheel having a rim size of 16 × 61 / 2JJ, and an emergency traveling support, only the configuration of the emergency traveling support is changed. Example and conventional vehicle wheels were obtained.
[0034]
As shown in FIG. 1, the emergency traveling support in the embodiment has a pair of elastic rings arranged on the outer periphery of the rim, and a ring-shaped extending over the pair of elastic rings in the tire circumferential direction. It consists of a load support, and the load support spreads in a cantilevered state on both sides in the tire axial direction from a base portion straddling a pair of elastic rings and a portion between the elastic rings of the base portion, and And a buffer portion forming a curved load supporting surface on the outer peripheral side. On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 10, a conventional emergency traveling support includes a pair of elastic rings arranged on the outer periphery of a rim, and a dome-shaped straddle extending over the pair of elastic rings in the tire circumferential direction. And an existing ring-shaped load support.
[0035]
With respect to the above two types of vehicle wheels, the impact mitigation function during run-flat running was evaluated by the following measurement method, and the results are shown in Table 1.
[0036]
[Impact relief function during run flat running]
The vehicle wheel to be tested is mounted on the front right wheel of a FR car with a displacement of 2.5 liters, the tire internal pressure is set to 0 kPa (200 kPa except for the front right wheel), and it runs counterclockwise at a speed of 90 km / h per hour. Then, the ride comfort at that time was evaluated by five panelists. The evaluation results are shown as indices with the conventional example as 100. The larger the index value, the better the ride comfort, and the better the shock absorbing function during run flat running.
[0037]
[Table 1]
As shown in Table 1, the vehicle wheels of the example had an improved shock absorbing function during run-flat running as compared with the conventional example.
[0038]
【The invention's effect】
