【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a wheel type work vehicle such as a wheel loader, and more particularly to an electrically driven wheel type work vehicle equipped with an engine, a generator, an electric motor, an inverter / converter, and a battery.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The wheel loader includes a vehicle body front part and a vehicle body rear part, and the vehicle body front part and the vehicle body rear part are connected to be relatively rotatable. The front part of the vehicle body is provided with front wheels and a front working device for excavating and loading earth and sand. A rear part of the vehicle body is provided with rear wheels, and a driver's cab is installed above a front part of a vehicle body frame at a rear part of the vehicle body, and an engine is arranged at a rear part of the vehicle body frame at a rear part of the vehicle body.
[0003]
Generally, a hydraulic drive is employed as a drive system of a wheel-type work vehicle such as a wheel loader. However, in recent years, for example, an electric drive system in which the vehicle travels by an electric motor as described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 11-158937 has been studied. In this electric drive device, a generator is driven by an engine, an electric motor is driven by electric power generated by the generator, and a rear wheel is driven by the electric motor to travel.
[0004]
[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-11-158937
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the above prior art has the following problems.
[0006]
It is preferable to provide a battery in an electrically driven wheel-type work vehicle as described in JP-A-11-158937. The provision of the battery not only stores the electric power generated by the generator, but also increases the energy saving effect by regenerating energy at the time of traveling deceleration. However, when a battery is provided, an inverter / converter for converting an alternating current generated by the generator into a direct current and supplying the direct current to the battery, or converting a direct current of the battery into an alternating current and supplying the alternating current to the electric motor is required. . In this case, the generator, the inverter / converter, the battery, and the electric motor must be connected by a cable to exchange power. The electric power handled by the generator, the inverter / converter, the battery, and the electric motor is a high-voltage high-current with a maximum voltage of 260 to 360 V and a maximum current of 100 A, and the cable has a diameter of 1 cm or more. For this reason, if the cable becomes longer, not only the price becomes higher, but also noise easily gets on the surrounding electric devices and signal lines, and the operation reliability is reduced.
[0007]
In addition, when the generator, the inverter / converter, the battery, and the electric motor are arranged near the engine, the temperature of them tends to increase. In particular, since the battery is easily affected by the temperature, temperature control of the battery is very strict in order to exhibit its performance, and it is necessary to constantly monitor the temperature by a battery controller attached to the battery. However, the space inside the vehicle body (inside the rear frame) of the wheel-type work vehicle is narrow, and electric devices such as a generator and an electric motor are also heating elements. Therefore, when the battery is arranged inside the vehicle body, the battery is located near a heating element such as an engine, a generator, an electric motor, or the like, and its performance cannot be sufficiently exhibited. Further, if an inverter / converter and a battery are arranged in a narrow space inside the vehicle body in addition to the generator and the electric motor, maintenance of the inverter / converter and the battery becomes extremely difficult.
[0008]
On the other hand, the performance of an electric motor or an electric motor is greatly reduced due to an increase in temperature, as compared with devices such as a hydraulic device and a torque converter used in a hydraulic drive system. Therefore, when the electric motor or the electric motor is disposed inside the vehicle body, it is necessary to increase the cooling performance as compared with a hydraulic drive system using a hydraulic device or a torque converter.
[0009]
A first object of the present invention is to provide an electrically driven wheel capable of shortening a connecting cable of a generator, an inverter, a battery, and an electric motor by appropriately arranging the generator and improving reliability of operation. It is to provide a working vehicle.
[0010]
A second object of the present invention is to dispose a battery and an inverter / converter in a place where there is little influence from a temperature change inside the vehicle body and there is enough space in the space, so that the performance of the battery can be sufficiently exhibited and the battery Another object of the present invention is to provide an electrically driven wheel-type work vehicle that facilitates maintenance of an inverter / converter.
[0011]
A third object of the present invention is to provide an electrically driven wheel-type work vehicle that can appropriately cool the generator and the electric motor by guiding the air that has cooled the battery to the space where the generator and the electric motor are arranged. That is.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
(1) In order to achieve the first object, the present invention provides an electrically driven wheel-type work vehicle having an engine mounted on a rear portion of a body frame and a driver's cab mounted on a front upper side of the body frame. A generator and an electric motor are arranged in the front space of the vehicle body frame below the cab, and a battery and an inverter / converter are arranged near the front part of the vehicle body frame.
[0013]
By arranging the generator and the electric motor in the front space of the body frame below the cab, and arranging the battery and the inverter / converter near the front of the body frame, the vicinity of the generator and the electric motor can be obtained. Since the battery and the inverter / converter are located, the connection cable between the generator and the electric motor, the inverter / converter, and the battery can be shortened, and the reliability of operation can be improved.
[0014]
(2) Further, in order to achieve the second object, according to the present invention, in the above (1), the battery is disposed outside a lateral side portion of the vehicle body frame, and the inverter / converter is disposed in the cab. It shall be located below the seat.
[0015]
Thereby, the arrangement position of the battery and the inverter / converter is near the front part of the vehicle body frame, and the connection cable between the generator and the electric motor, the inverter / converter, and the battery can be shortened.
[0016]
Further, since the outer side of the lateral side of the vehicle body frame and the lower side of the seat in the driver's cab are isolated from heat generating elements such as a generator and an electric motor disposed in the front space of the engine and the vehicle body frame, the battery and the inverter are not provided. The location of the converter / converter is a place where the influence of temperature change inside the vehicle body (the body frame) is small, the battery is unlikely to become hot, the battery performance can be sufficiently exhibited, and the inverter / converter also becomes hot. Is prevented. In addition, since the battery and the inverter / converter are arranged in a place where there is sufficient space, maintenance of the battery and the inverter / converter becomes easy.
[0017]
(3) In the above (2), preferably, the batteries are symmetrically arranged on both lateral sides of the vehicle body frame.
[0018]
Thus, even when a heavy battery is mounted, the balance of the vehicle body is maintained, and the stability of the vehicle body can be improved. In addition, since the batteries are arranged on both sides of a place where there is sufficient space, the capacity of the battery can be increased.
[0019]
(4) In order to achieve the second object, in the present invention according to (1), the battery and the inverter / converter are arranged below the seat in the cab.
[0020]
This also allows the battery and the inverter / converter to be located near the front portion of the vehicle body frame, thereby shortening the connection cable between the generator and the electric motor, the inverter / converter, and the battery.
[0021]
In addition, since the lower side of the seat in the driver's cab is a place isolated from a heating element such as a generator or an electric motor arranged in the front space of the engine or the body frame, the positions of the battery and the inverter / converter are located inside the body. This is a place where there is little effect of temperature changes (inside the vehicle body frame), the battery is unlikely to become hot, the performance of the battery can be sufficiently exhibited, and the inverter / converter is also prevented from becoming hot. In addition, since the battery and the inverter / converter are arranged in a place where there is sufficient space, maintenance of the battery and the inverter / converter becomes easy.
[0022]
(5) Further, in order to achieve the third object, the present invention provides the invention according to (1), wherein the battery is an air-cooled type, and the air after battery cooling is discharged to a front space of the vehicle body frame. And
[0023]
As a result, the air after battery cooling flows into the front space of the vehicle body frame together with the air sucked by the discharge fan of the engine, and the amount of air flowing into this space increases, and the generator disposed in the space In addition, the electric motor can be appropriately cooled.
[0024]
(6) In the above (5), preferably, the air for cooling the battery is cooling air from an air conditioner unit.
[0025]
Thereby, the battery can be cooled more effectively.
[0026]
(7) In the above (5), preferably, the air after cooling the battery is discharged into a front space of the vehicle body frame by a fan.
[0027]
This also enhances the battery cooling effect.
[0028]
(8) In order to achieve the second object, the present invention provides a vehicle body having a front wheel and a rear wheel, and having a vehicle body front part and a vehicle body rear part which are connected to each other so as to be relatively rotatable. An engine mounted on a rear portion of a box-shaped rear frame which is a body frame of the vehicle, and an electrically driven wheel-type work vehicle having a driver's cab mounted on a front upper side of the rear frame; , A generator and an electric motor are arranged in the front space of the vehicle, the batteries are arranged symmetrically on both lateral sides of the rear frame of the vehicle, and an inverter / converter is arranged near the front of the rear frame. .
[0029]
As a result, the outer side of the lateral side of the vehicle body frame and the lower side of the seat in the driver's cab are places isolated from heat generating elements such as a generator and an electric motor disposed in the front space of the engine and the vehicle body frame.
[0030]
Further, by arranging the batteries symmetrically on both lateral sides of the vehicle body frame, even when a heavy battery is mounted, the balance of the vehicle body can be maintained and the stability of the vehicle body can be improved. In addition, since the batteries are arranged on both sides of a space where space is available, the capacity of the battery can be increased.
