本発明は、連結可能な敷物に関するものである。更に詳しくは、上下に重なる方向あるいは縦横方向につなげることにより、使用する場所の形状あるいは用途に合った様々な形状とすることができ、更に、子供のための知育具あるいは高齢者や障害を持つ人のリハビリ用としても有用な連結可能な敷物に関する。

【従来技術】
近年、一般の住宅でもフローリング、いわゆる板張りの床が増えてきている。
フローリングの部屋では、椅子やソファーを使うのが一般的であるが、畳の間と同様にあぐらをかいたり寝そべる使い方をする場合もある。このような使い方をする場合は、そのままでは身体が痛いので、クッションや座布団などの敷物が使用されている。

従来の一般的な敷物としては、平面視で正方形状の中央が厚く盛り上がった形状のクッションや、同じく正方形状で一定の厚さを有するクッション、あるいは一方側がなだらかな斜面をもって厚く形勢されたクッション（テレビ枕とも称される）などがあった。
前者二種類のクッションの場合、特に寝そべるときなどは複数のクッションを横に並べたり上下に重ねたりして使用していた。
更には、使いやすいように、クッションや座布団等を折り畳み可能に連結したものもあった（特許文献１参照）。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記した従来のクッションには、次のような課題があった。
すなわち、クッションを横に並べたり上下に重ねたりして使用すると、だんだん位置がずれてしまうので使いにくかった。
また、テレビ枕のように、ある用途に特化されたクッションは、他の用途には使いにくく、使用しないときにはかえって邪魔になる場合もあった。更に、特許文献１記載のものは、構成部を単品で使用できない不便さがあった。

ところで、近年においては、教育のシステムが大きな問題となっており、その中でも徳育・体育などに対して知的認識能力を高めることを目的とする、いわゆる「知育」に感心が集まっている。知育は、あらたまって構えるようにして取り組むというのではなく、普段の生活の中で自然に無理なく行うことが重要とされている。

本願発明者は、上記従来のクッションの課題を解決しようと研究を進めるうちに、普段の生活のなかで行う「知育」に感心が集まっていることを知り、更に知育においては、指先を使用することや、ものを組み合わせて他のものを作り上げることが重要視されていることに着目した。
そして、これらクッションと知育を関連づけて、従来にない新しい商品ができないものかと研究を重ね、本願発明を完成するに至った。

本発明の目的は、上下に重なる方向あるいは縦横方向につなげることにより、使用する場所の形状あるいは用途に合った様々な形状の敷物にすることができるとともに、子供のための知育具あるいは高齢者や障害を持つ人のリハビリ用としても有用な連結可能な敷物を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために講じた本発明の手段は次のとおりである。
第１の発明にあっては、
クッション性を有し、周縁部の辺部または角部に、連結のための紐を備えていることを特徴とする、
連結可能な敷物である。

本明細書において、「敷物」の用語は、いわゆるクッション、マット、座布団等を含む概念で使用している。
敷物は、クッション体とそれを包む表地で構成されている構造でもよいし、表地を設けない構造でもよい。
敷物の形状や大きさは特に限定しない。形状については、平面視形状が外形部に本質的に隙間を生じないように連結することができる形状、例えば、正方形、長方形、三角形、六角形などの他、円形、楕円形、前記に含まれない多角形などである。

敷物の厚さは、全部が同じ厚さでもよいし、中央部を厚くするなど、部分で厚さが異なるものでもよい。
紐は、敷物の周縁部の辺部、角部のいずれか一方または両方に設けることができる。紐の長さ、太さ、幅、素材あるいは一箇所に設けられる紐の本数などは特に限定しない。

クッション体の素材は、例えばウレタンフォームなど合成樹脂を発泡させたもの、硬綿、綿（天然、人工）などであるが、クッション性を有するものであればこれらに限定はされない。なお、クッション体は、へたりを防止するためにやや硬いものを使用するのが望ましいが、限定はしない。

表地の素材は、布の他、例えば皮革（天然、人工）、合成樹脂シート、藺草、籐、竹などであるが、これらに限定はしない。また、表地の表面には各種絵模様も設けてもよいし、単色で彩色することもできる。更には、表裏側で同じ絵模様または彩色を施してもよいし、異なったものを施してもよい。
滑り止めは、例えば表面に凹凸を設けるものの他、表地の素材そのものを滑りにくいものとしたものなどであるが、これらに限定はしない。

（作用）
本発明に係る連結可能な敷物は、次のように作用する。
敷物は、紐同士を結ぶことにより、他の本発明に係る敷物と互いに連結することができる。すなわち、複数の敷物を上下に重なるように連結することもできるし、縦横に並べて連結することもできる。また、単品で使用することも可能である。

これにより、単一（同一）形状の敷物を使用した場合でも、連結する枚数、連結する方向の違いによって、使用する場所の形状あるいは用途に合った様々な形状の敷物をつくることができる。また、表面の模様や色の異なる敷物を組み合わせれば、更に敷物全体の表面に表れる模様も色々につくることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明を図面に示した実施の形態に基づき更に詳細に説明する。
図１は本発明に係る敷物の一実施の形態を示す一部を切欠いた上面側斜視説明図である。
敷物Ａ１は、平面視正方形で一定の厚さを有する形状である。敷物Ａ１の寸法は、縦横が７００ｍｍ、厚さが３０ｍｍである。なお、この寸法については特に限定するものではなく、適宜寸法に設定が可能である。
敷物Ａ１は、敷物Ａ１と同様の形状のクッション体１（合成樹脂繊維でつくられた硬綿製：１３５０ｇ／ｍ２）を布製の表地２で全体をほぼ隙間なく被覆した構造である。

敷物Ａ１の外周縁部の四隅（各角部）には、連結のための紐３が設けられている。各箇所において、紐３は二本設けられている。紐３の寸法は、長さ１００ｍｍ、幅１０ｍｍであり、全部同じ寸法に設定されている。
表地２の上面側には、熊の絵模様４が施されている。表地２の下面側にも熊の絵模様４ａ（後述、図３に図示）が施されているが、熊の絵模様４ａは、上面側の熊の絵模様４と絵柄が異なっている。

これによりつくられた敷物は、長さが敷物Ａ１の二倍になっているので、寝そべる場合に使いやすい長さになる。

従って、例えば子供の好きなように連結させて遊ばせることによって、指先を使わせる知育具として利用でき、また同様にして高齢者や障害を持つ人のリハビリ用としても利用できる。しかも、日常的に使用する敷物を使用して、普段の生活の中で自然に無理なく行うことができるので、知育やリハビリの道具として有用である。

なお、敷物Ａ１は平面視形状が正方形であり、外形部に本質的に隙間を生じないように連結することができる形状であるので、縦横に連結してつくった敷物に、使用者の身体がフローリングに直接当たるような穴が生じないので、全面がクッション性を有し、使いやすい。

図６は本発明に係る敷物の他の実施の形態を示す一部を切欠いた上面側斜視説明図である。
本実施の形態に係る敷物Ａ２は、平面視円形で一定の厚さを有する形状である。敷物Ａ２の寸法は、直径が７００ｍｍ、厚さが３０ｍｍである。なお、この寸法については特に限定するものではなく、適宜寸法に設定が可能である。
敷物Ａ２は、敷物Ａ２と同様の形状のクッション体１ａ（硬質のウレタンフォーム製）を合成樹脂シート製の表地２ａで全体をほぼ隙間なく被覆した構造である。

敷物Ａ２の外周縁部の四箇所（周方向へ等間隔で設けられている）には、連結のための紐３ａが設けられている。各箇所において、紐３は二本設けられている。紐３の寸法は、長さ１００ｍｍ、幅１０ｍｍであり、全部同じ寸法に設定されている。
表地２ａの上面側には、無地の彩色５（白色）が施されている。表地２ａの下面側にも無地の彩色５ａ（黒色）が施されている。
また、表地２ａの表裏面（上面と下面）には、全面に、滑り止めのための細かな凹凸６が設けられている。

（作 用）
敷物Ａ２は、表裏面に滑り止めとなる凹凸６が設けられているので、敷物Ａ２を直接フローリングの上に敷くときは敷物Ａ２が滑らないようにする作用を有する。また、敷物Ａ２を重ねて使用するときは、敷物同士が滑らないようにする作用を有する。
なお、複数の敷物Ａ２を使用して、例えば複数を上下に重ねて厚い一体もののクッションとすることができる等、様々な形状の敷物をつくることができることや知育やリハビリの道具として有用であることについては、上記敷物Ａ１と同様であるので、説明は省略する。
