【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、葉書、及びその葉書を製作するための葉書用シートに関するものである。
【０００２】
【従来の技術及び発明が解決しようとする課題】
周知のように、葉書は、封筒、封書等の他の郵便物に比べて郵便料金が安価である。安価である反面、郵便法では、葉書として郵送しうるための、寸法や重量の面での条件が課せられている。本来、葉書は定寸の１枚の厚紙からなり、表側に住所が記載され、裏側に相手方に伝達すべき情報が記載される。従って、記載できる情報量も、自ずから葉書１枚分の紙面上のスペースに制限されている。このような情報量の制限は、たとえば封筒や封書にはなく、このことが上記のような郵便料金の差として現れているものと思われる。

そこで、近年においては、情報量を増大させるべく２つ折りの葉書が形成され、それでは不十分であることからさらに３つ折りの葉書が開発されている。このような葉書は、葉書紙面の内面側が対面するように折り畳んで密着させ、その内面側に表示される情報を隠蔽した状態で郵送されるものである。

このような３つ折りの葉書には、大別して、受信者に伝達すべき情報をコンピューターで印字したビジネスフォーム方式の葉書と、商品等に関する情報が図柄等とともに印刷されたダイレクトメール用の葉書とがあるが、ビジネスフォーム方式の葉書と、ダイレクトメール用の葉書とのいずれの場合であっても、製造のための専用の装置が必要となる。

たとえば、ビジネスフォーム方式の葉書であれば、長尺状の連続帳票用紙を搬送し、コンピューターで印字し、折り曲げ且つ接着して、葉書の所定寸法に切断する装置が用いられる。このような連続帳票用紙はマージナルパンチと称される孔を両側に有し、そのマージナルパンチにプリンターのスプロケットを挿入して連続帳票用紙を送りつつ印字がなされるもので、全体が大がかりな装置となる。また、このようなマージナルパンチにスプロケットを挿入して印字するプリンターの場合、文字情報を印字する場合には支障はないが、絵、写真等の図柄の情報を印刷する場合には、その図柄のデザイン等が単純なものとなり、受信者の視覚に訴えるだけの装飾性には乏しいものであった。

一方、ダイレクトメール用の葉書の場合、葉書サイズの紙片を多数枚綴った用紙が用いられ、印刷で情報が表示されるので、上記ビジネスフォーム方式の葉書用のプリンターに比べると、図柄のデザイン等に変化をもたらすことができるが、印刷用の版を用いて紙片を多数枚綴った用紙に一律に印刷がなされるので、各紙片に同一の情報を表示するような大量生産用には適しているものの、少量多品種のものに適用しようとすると、その分、別の版を準備しなければならず、コストが大幅に増大することとなるので、実用に適さないものとなる。
このため、このような従来の装置で製造されるダイレクトメール用の葉書は、不特定多数の受信者に送信することが前提とされている。

しかし、近年においては、私信用として受信者にそれぞれ異なる個人情報を表示して送信される場合もあり、そのためには上記のような従来のダイレクトメール用の葉書を製造する装置では対応することができず、たとえばＡ４サイズ等の規格寸法の用紙に印刷や印字を行うことができるパーソナルコンピュータに接続できるような汎用性のプリンターを用いる必要がある。

このような観点から、全体がＡ４サイズに形成された４つ折りの葉書に関する下記特許文献１乃至３記載の出願もなされている。

しかし、現行郵便法では、上述のように葉書として郵送しうるための、寸法や重量の面での条件が課せられている他、それ以外の条件も課せられている。すなわち、現行郵便法の郵便規則第１３条によれば、紙質及び厚さが官製葉書と同等以上のものであること、重量が２ｇ以上６ｇ以内であること等の規定があり、さらに同規則第１６条によれば、郵便葉書に薄い紙又はこれに類する添付物を上記第１３条の規定に触れず、且つ容易にはげないように全面を密着させたもので、上記添付物が「郵便葉書とこれに添付したものとの間にあり、且つこれらから分離して使用する物を添付したもの」に該当しないことが要求されている。

特に「添付物」の概念が問題となる上記第１６条の規定の条件を満たそうとすると、上記のようなＡ４サイズに形成された４つ折りの葉書はもちろんのこと、３つ折りの葉書でも郵便法に合致させることは容易ではない。

このような郵便法を意識して、たとえば下記特許文献４のような出願もなされている。

この特許文献４は、「郵便葉書」、「ＰＯＳＴ ＣＡＲＤ」等の葉書表示文字を表面に記載した葉書本体と、該葉書本体の表裏両側に折り畳み可能に連設されて該葉書本体に剥離可能に接着される表面添付物及び裏面添付物とからなり、且つ該表面添付物及び裏面添付物が葉書本体に接着された状態において、葉書本体に表示された葉書表示文字が表面添付物に隠蔽されることなく読みとれるように形成されたものである。

この特許文献４における「「郵便葉書」、「ＰＯＳＴ ＣＡＲＤ」等の葉書表示文字を表面に記載した葉書本体」は、上記郵便規則の「郵便葉書」に該当し、特許文献４における「表面添付物及び裏面添付物」は、上記郵便規則の「薄い紙又はこれに類する添付物」に該当する。
そして、平成７年４月５日発行の「近畿郵政局報」には、３つ折り葉書の場合、上記特許文献４のような「郵便葉書」、「ＰＯＳＴ ＣＡＲＤ」等の葉書表示文字を、表面添付物に隠蔽されることなく読みとれるようにすることが、郵便規則に合致させるために必要であることも明記されている。

このような特許文献４や「近畿郵政局報」の記載を意識して、４つ折り葉書で上記のような「郵便葉書」、「ＰＯＳＴ ＣＡＲＤ」等の葉書表示文字を表面に記載した葉書本体と、該葉書本体の表裏両側に折り畳み可能に連設されて該葉書本体に剥離可能に接着される表面添付物及び裏面添付物とからなり、且つ該表面添付物及び裏面添付物が葉書本体に接着された状態において、葉書本体に表示された葉書表示文字が表面添付物に隠蔽されることなく読みとれるように形成された下記特許文献５及び６のような出願もなされている。

しかし、特許文献５に開示された葉書は、該特許文献５の図１に示すように分離部５が長手方向の全体に形成されているので、接着状態でこそ該特許文献５の図２のように折り畳まれているが、剥離して展開すると、図４１に示すように葉書本体２１と表面添付物２２及び裏面添付物２３が分離することとなり、これでは表面添付物２２及び裏面添付物２３が上記郵便規則第１６条の「分離して使用する物」に該当して同条の条件を満たさないこととなる。

一方、特許文献６に開示された葉書は、該特許文献６の図１に示すように分離部５が長手方向の全体に形成されていないので、剥離して展開しても図４２に示すように葉書本体２１と表面添付物２２及び裏面添付物２３が分離することはないが、葉書本体２１が２枚のシート片１ｅ，１ｆ を接着して構成されており、これが上記郵便規則の条件を満たすかは定かではない。

しかも、このような葉書は、特許文献６の図１に示すように、剥離不能な２面の連設部分である第２折り部６がシート片の長手方向に形成され、剥離可能な４面のうちの分離されない連設部分である第１折り部２がシート片の短手方向に形成されたものであるため、展開した状態においては図４２に示すように、表面添付物２２及び裏面添付物２３が葉書本体２１に対して縦方向（長手方向）に見開きの状態となり、２つ折り、３つ折り等の葉書が一般に横方向（短手方向）の見開きの状態となることを考慮すると、横方向（短手方向）の見開き部分が存在しないのは、受信者において取り扱いが非常に不便となる。

本発明者等は、上述のような問題点に鑑み、上記郵便法を詳細に検討した上で、上記特許文献４のように郵便規則の条件を満たす３つ折り葉書の表面添付物に、さらに宛先、宛名等用のラベル等の別の添付物を剥離不能に接着しても、特許文献４のような葉書と同様に郵便規則の条件を満たしていると判断されている現状に鑑み、この「添付物に別の添付物を剥離不能に接着する」とい着想を４つ折り葉書に応用する観点から本発明を完成するに至った。

そして、本発明は、上記のような問題点を解決するために、剥離して展開する際に取り扱いが不便となることがなく、しかも４つ折り葉書でありながら上記郵便法の条件を満たすような葉書を提供することを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、このような課題を解決するために、葉書及びその葉書を製作するための葉書用シートとしてなされたもので、葉書としての特徴は、「郵便葉書」、「ＰＯＳＴ ＣＡＲＤ」等の葉書表示文字５を表面に記載した葉書本体１６と、該葉書本体１６の表裏両側に折り畳み可能に連設されて該葉書本体１６に剥離可能に接着される表面添付物１７及び裏面添付物１８とからなり、該表面添付物１７及び裏面添付物１８が前記葉書本体１６に接着された状態で、前記葉書本体１６に表示された葉書表示文字５が前記表面添付物１７に隠蔽されることなく読みとれるように形成された葉書において、前記葉書本体１６は１枚のシート片で構成されているとともに前記表面添付物１７又は裏面添付物１８のうちの一方は２枚のシート片が剥離不能に接着されて構成され、且つ前記表面添付物１７又は裏面添付物１８うちの一方は前記葉書本体１６に対して横方向に見開き可能となるように縦方向の連設部を介して前記葉書本体１６に連設され、しかも前記葉書本体１６、表面添付物１７、及び裏面添付物１８を構成している計４枚のシート片は、全体を展開した状態の長方形状の葉書用シート（１） の縦横に２枚ずつ配置されるように構成されていることである。

また、葉書用シートとしての特徴は、４枚のシート片１ａ，１ｂ，１ｃ，１ｄ が縦横に２枚ずつ連設されて１枚の長方形状のシートに形成された葉書用シートにおいて、前記４枚のシート片１ａ，１ｂ，１ｃ，１ｄ のうち少なくとも１枚のシート片は、「郵便葉書」、「ＰＯＳＴ ＣＡＲＤ」等の葉書表示文字５を表面に記載した葉書本体１６を形成するためのシート片であり、前記４枚のシート片のうち、２枚のシート片の連設部は分断可能な分断部６として形成され、且つ該分断部６を分断するとともに分断されない３箇所の連設部７，８，９を介して前記４枚のシート片１ａ，１ｂ，１ｃ，１ｄ を折り畳んだときに前記葉書本体１６と該葉書本体１６の表裏両側に折り畳み可能に連設されて該葉書本体１６に剥離可能に接着される表面添付物１７及び裏面添付物１８とからなるとともに前記表面添付物１７及び裏面添付物１８が前記葉書本体１６に接着された状態において前記葉書本体１６に表示された葉書表示文字５が前記表面添付物１７に隠蔽されることなく読みとることができるような葉書１０が形成され、且つ前記４枚のシート片１ａ，１ｂ，１ｃ，１ｄ のうち２枚のシート片は、剥離不能に接着されて前記表面添付物１７又は裏面添付物１８のうちの一方を構成するものであり、しかも４枚のシート片１ａ，１ｂ，１ｃ，１ｄ のうち２枚のシート片は、横方向に見開き可能となるように縦方向の連設部を介して連設されてなることである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施形態について図面に従って説明する。
【００２６】
（実施形態１）
本実施形態の葉書用シート１は全体が紙製のものであり、図１及び図２に示すように、全体が略Ａ４の大きさからなり、葉書の規格サイズに略等しい４つのシート片１ａ，１ｂ，１ｃ，１ｄ に区画して構成されたものである。第１シート片１ａの表面側には、図１に示すように宛先・宛名表示欄２が形成され、第２シート片１ｂの表面側には、図示していないが宣伝、広告等の表示がなされている。

また、第３シート片１ｃ及び第４シート片１ｄの表面側には、通信文等の情報を表示する情報表示欄３ａ，３ａ がそれぞれ形成されている。第２シート片１ｂ及び第４シート片１ｄの横幅は、第１シート片１ａ及び第３シート片１ｃの横幅より広く形成され、その広くはみ出した第４シート片１ｄの側部のはみ出し部４には、「ＰＯＳＴ ＣＡＲＤ」の葉書表示文字５が表示されている。
第１シート片１ａと第２シート片１ｂとの連設部分には、ミシン目６が形成されている。図１においては図示しないが、情報表示欄３ａ，３ａ が形成された第３シート片１ｃ及び第４シート片１ｄの表面側には、該第３シート片１ｃと第４シート片１ｄ間を剥離可能とする接着剤が設けられている。

第２シート片１ｂ及び第４シート片１ｄの裏面側には、図２に示すように、情報表示欄３ｂ，３ｂ が形成され、該第２シート片１ｂと第４シート片１ｄ間を剥離可能とする接着剤が設けられている。また、第１シート片１ａ及び第３シート片１ｃの裏面側には、該第１シート片１ａ及び第３シート片１ｃ間を剥離不能とする接着剤が設けられている。

そして、上記のような構成からなる葉書用シート１によって葉書を製作する場合には、ミシン目６を介して第１シート片１ａと第２シート片１ｂ間を分断し、図３乃至図６に示すように折曲部７を介して第１シート片１ａを第３シート片１ｃ側に折り曲げるとともに、剥離不能な接着剤を介して第１シート片１ａと第３シート片１ｃ間を接着する。また、折曲部８を介して第２シート片１ｂを第４シート片１ｄ側に折り曲げるとともに、剥離可能な接着剤を介して第２シート片１ｂと第４シート片１ｄ間を接着する。さらに、折曲部９を介して第３シート片１ｃを第４シート片１ｄ側に折り曲げるとともに、剥離可能な接着剤を介して第３シート片１ｃと第４シート片１ｄ間を接着する。これによって、第４シート片１ｄを葉書本体１６とし、第１シート片１ａ及び第３シート片１ｃを表面貼付物１７とし、第２シート片１ｂを裏面添付物１８とする図３乃至図５に示すような葉書１０が製作されることとなる。

このようにして製作された葉書１０は、図４に示すように宛先・宛名表示欄２が形成された第１シート片１ａを表面側に位置させ、その側方に、第４シート片１ｄのはみ出し部４に表示された「ＰＯＳＴ ＣＡＲＤ」の葉書表示文字５が裸出する構成とされたものである。そして、図５及び図６に示すように、剥離不能な接着剤１１を介して第１シート片１ａと第３シート片１ｃ間とが接着され、剥離可能な接着剤１２を介して第３シート片１ｃと第４シート片１ｄ間が接着され、剥離可能な接着剤１２を介して第２シート片１ｂと第４シート片１ｄ間を接着されている。

このような構成からなる葉書１０は、情報表示欄３ａ，３ａ が形成された第３シート片１ｃと第４シート片１ｄ間、並びに情報表示欄３ｂ，３ｂ が形成された第４シート片１ｄと第２シート片１ｂ間がそれぞれ剥離可能な接着剤１２を介して接着されているため、情報表示欄３ａ，３ａ，３ｂ，３ｂ が隠蔽された状態で送信されることとなる。

また、葉書本体１６として扱われる第４シート片１ｄに「ＰＯＳＴ ＣＡＲＤ」の葉書表示文字５が表示され、その葉書表示文字５が、表面側添付物１７である第１シート片１ａ及び第３シート片１ｃからはみ出して表面側に裸出され、しかも表面側添付物１７である第１シート片１ａと第３シート片１ｃ間が剥離不能に接着されているので、郵便法の規則に合致した葉書として、葉書の郵便料金で送信することができる。尚、一般の葉書と同様に第１シート片１ａの宛先・宛名表示欄２に受信者の宛先宛名を記載して郵送されることはいうまでもない。

次に、上記のような葉書１０を受信した受信者は、図７に示すように第３シート片１ｃと第４シート片１ｄ間を剥離する。これによって情報表示欄３ａ，３ａ が裸出され、情報表示欄３ａ，３ａ に表示された情報を判読することが可能となる。

この場合において、第３シート片１ｃと第４シート片１ｄとの連設部分である折曲部９は、従来の特許文献６のように短手方向に形成されたものではなく、長手方向に形成されたものであるため、展開した状態においては図７に示すように、横方向（短手方向）の見開きの状態となり、４つ折りの葉書であるにもかかわらず、一般の２つ折り、３つ折りと同様に取り扱いが容易となる。

次に、図８及び図９に示すように、第４シート片１ｄと第２シート片１ｂ間を剥離する。これによって情報表示欄３ｂ，３ｂ が裸出され、情報表示欄３ｂ，３ｂ に表示された情報を判読することが可能となる。

この場合は、短手方向の折曲部８を介して第４シート片１ｄと第２シート片１ｂ間が縦方向（長手方向）に見開きの状態となるように展開されるが、第３シート片１ｃと第４シート片１ｄ間が上述のように横方向（短手方向）に見開きの状態となるように展開されているので、全体として葉書１０の取り扱いに支障を生ずることがない。

そして、計４面の情報表示欄３ａ，３ａ，３ｂ，３ｂ に情報が表示されることとなるので、多くの情報を表示することが可能となる。

（実施形態２）
本実施形態においても上記実施形態１と同様に葉書用シート１は全体が紙製のもので略Ａ４の大きさからなり、葉書の規格サイズに略等しい４つのシート片１ａ，１ｂ，１ｃ，１ｄ に区画して構成されている。

第１シート片１ａの表面側に宛先・宛名表示欄２が形成されている点は実施形態１と同様であるが、本実施形態では、図１０に示すように、第２シート片１ｂと第４シート片１ｄの表面側に情報表示欄３ｂ，３ｂ が形成されており、第３シート片１ｃの表面側に宣伝、広告等の表示がなされている。

第３シート片１ｃ及び第４シート片１ｄの縦幅は、第１シート片１ａ及び第２シート片１ｂの縦幅より広く形成され、その広くはみ出した第４シート片１ｄの下部のはみ出し部４に「ＰＯＳＴ ＣＡＲＤ」の葉書表示文字５が表示されている。

ミシン目６は、第１シート片１ａと第３シート片１ｃとの連設部分に形成されている。また、情報表示欄３ｂ，３ｂ が形成された第２シート片１ｂ及び第４シート片１ｄの表面側には剥離可能が接着剤が設けられている。

第１シート片１ａと第２シート片１ｂの裏面側には、図１１に示すように、該第１シート片１ａ及び第２シート片１ｂ間を剥離不能とする接着剤が設けられている。また、第３シート片１ｃと第４シート片１ｄの裏面側には情報表示欄３ａ，３ａ が形成され、該第３シート片１ｃと第４シート片１ｄ間を剥離可能とする接着剤が設けられている。

そして、上記のような葉書用シート１によって葉書を製作する場合には、ミシン目６を介して第１シート片１ａと第３シート片１ｃ間を分断し、折曲部７を介して第１シート片１ａを第２シート片１ｂ側に折り曲げるとともに、剥離不能な接着剤を介して第１シート片１ａと第２シート片１ｂ間を接着する。また、折曲部８を介して第４シート片１ｄを第２シート片１ｂ側に折り曲げるとともに、剥離可能な接着剤を介して第４シート片１ｄと第２シート片１ｂ間を接着する。さらに、折曲部９を介して第３シート片１ｃを第４シート片１ｄ側に折り曲げるとともに、剥離可能な接着剤を介して第３シート片１ｃと第４シート片１ｄ間を接着する。これによって、第４シート片１ｄを葉書本体１６とし、第１シート片１ａ及び第２シート片１ｂを表面貼付物１７とし、第３シート片１ｃを裏面添付物１８とする図１２乃至図１４に示すような葉書１０が製作されることとなる。

本実施形態の葉書１０も、実施形態１と同様に宛先・宛名表示欄２が形成された第１シート片１ａを表面側に位置され、第４シート片１ｄのはみ出し部４に表示された「ＰＯＳＴ ＣＡＲＤ」の葉書表示文字５が裸出する構成とされているが、本実施形態でははみ出し部４が上方にはみ出しており、この点で側方にはみ出した実施形態１の場合と相違している。

そして、図１３及び図１４に示すように、剥離不能な接着剤１１を介して第１シート片１ａと第２シート片１ｂ間とが接着され、剥離可能な接着剤１２を介して第２シート片１ｂと第４シート片１ｄ間が接着され、剥離可能な接着剤１２を介して第４シート片１ｄと第３シート片１ｃ間が接着されている。

本実施形態においても、葉書本体１６として扱われる第４シート片１ｄに「ＰＯＳＴ ＣＡＲＤ」の葉書表示文字５が表示され、その葉書表示文字５が、表面側添付物１７である第１シート片１ａ及び第２シート片１ｂからはみ出して表面側に裸出され、しかも表面側添付物１７である第１シート片１ａと第２シート片１ｂ間が剥離不能に接着されているので、郵便法の規則に合致した葉書として取り扱われることとなる。

次に、上記のような葉書１０を受信した受信者は、図１５に示すように第２シート片１ｂと第４シート片１ｄ間を剥離する。これによって情報表示欄３ｂ，３ｂ が裸出され、情報表示欄３ｂ，３ｂ に表示された情報を判読することが可能となる。次に、図１６及び図１７に示すように、第４シート片１ｄと第３シート片１ｃ間を剥離する。これによって情報表示欄３ａ，３ａ が裸出され、情報表示欄３ａ，３ａ に表示された情報を判読することが可能となる。

この場合、第３シート片１ｃと第４シート片１ｄとの連設部分である折曲部９が長手方向に形成されたものであるため、展開した状態においては図１７に示すように、横方向（短手方向）の見開きの状態となり、実施形態１の場合と同様に取り扱いが容易となる。

（実施形態３）
本実施形態においても、上記実施形態１、２と同様に略Ａ４の大きさからなる紙製の葉書用シート１が、葉書の規格サイズに略等しい４つのシート片１ａ，１ｂ，１ｃ，１ｄ に区画して構成されている。
