Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety of scissors by providing scissors which prevents a person who uses or touches the scissors from being erroneously injured to his/her body.
SOLUTION: A blade body 1a equipped with a handle 6a on one end and a blade body 1b equipped with a handle 6b on one end are linked by a link turning shaft 5 so as to be freely opened/closed. The blade body 1a is equipped with a blade portion 2a for cutting an object to be cut, and a protecting plate 4 which faces the blade portion 2a and is equipped with a limiting face 3 to form a predetermined gap with the blade portion 2a is fixed on the blade body 1a. In the process of closing the blade portion 2a and a blade portion 2b from maximum opening positions, the blade portion 2b is overlapped with the protecting plate 4 viewing in a direction vertical to an opening/closing surface, such that any object may not enter the interval of the blade portion 2a and the blade portion 2b except for the gap formed from the blade portion 2a and the limiting face 3. The gap is made minimum for the object to be cut which is predicted in use, such that possibility for a part of user's body to move in between the two blade portions is reduced, thereby improving safety.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

Description

【0001】

Scissors that take safety into account are made of rounded scissors, blades with an obtuse angle that make them hard to be damaged even when touched, and those that can be stored in a case with the blade closed. ing.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, their safety was not sufficient. The scissors open and close with two blades, but when the blades are open, the distance between the blades is wide, so there is a possibility that a part of the body such as a finger can easily enter, When the blade was closed with, there was a risk of injury or cutting.
This cannot be prevented with conventional scissors with rounded tips or with obtuse blades. Scissors are used in a wide range of applications, such as cutting paper and metal, cloth and thread, and clipping nails, and are tools widely used by children and adults. Scissors may be used without understanding the dangers of children, or they may be used in inconveniences such as the elderly or disabled. In addition, the scissors used by adults may be accidentally touched by infants. It is an object of the present invention to provide scissors in which a person using such scissors or a touching person does not injure the body accidentally.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The outline of a typical invention among the inventions disclosed in the present application will be briefly described as follows. That is, the scissors of the present invention are scissors formed by connecting two blade bodies in an openable and closable manner. At least one of the blade bodies faces a blade portion of the blade body and forms a predetermined gap with the blade portion. And a protective plate having: Further, even if the two blades are opened and the other blade is opened more than the gap formed by one of the blades and the restriction surface, the blade overlaps the protective plate. Further, a protection plate having a second restriction surface may be provided, and the other blade may move between the protection plate and the first protection plate. Further, the blade body and the protection plate may be connected at a plurality of locations, and the gap formed by the blade portion and the restriction surface may be a closed hole shape.
[0005]
Further, the scissors of the present invention are characterized in that the scissors have a connecting means between the blade body and the protection plate, which can arbitrarily set a gap formed by the blade portion and the restriction surface.
[0006]
Further, the scissors of the present invention are scissors in which two blade bodies are connected to be openable and closable, and a protection plate having a slit of a predetermined width substantially parallel to the opening / closing surface of the blade bodies is provided adjacent to the blade bodies. Scissors characterized by being arranged.
[0007]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing scissors according to an embodiment of the present invention, in which a blade body 1a having a handle 6a at one end and a blade body 1b having a handle 6b at one end are opened and closed by a connecting rotary shaft 5. They are freely connected. The blade 1a is provided with a blade 2a for cutting an object to be cut, and the protection plate 4 having the limiting surface 3 facing the blade 2a and forming a predetermined gap with the blade 2a is provided with a blade 1a. Fixed to. In the illustrated case, the protection plate 4 and the blade body 1a are integrally formed by one member, but they may be formed as separate members and combined.
[0008]
The other blade body 1b is provided with a stopper 7 formed by extending one end of a handle 6b, and the blade body 1a and the blade body 1b rotate around the connecting rotation shaft 5, and the blade part 2a and the blade part When the opening 2b is opened at a predetermined angle, the stopper 7 hits the blade body 1a so as not to open any more. In the process of closing the blade portion 2a and the blade portion 2b from the maximum open position, the blade portion 2b overlaps with the protective plate 4 when viewed from a direction perpendicular to the opening / closing surface, except for the gap formed by the blade portion 2a and the restriction surface 3. In this case, an object cannot enter between the blade portion 2a and the blade portion 2b.
The means for preventing the blade portion 2a and the blade portion 2b from opening at a predetermined angle or more is not limited to the method shown in the drawing, and a projection is provided on the blade body 1a so that the blade body 1b hits the projection and does not open at a predetermined angle or more. It may be.
Further, in FIG. 1, the limiting surface and the protective plate are provided for one blade, but the limiting surface and the protective plate may be provided for both blades.
[0009]
FIG. 2 is a diagram showing scissors according to another embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 (B) is a cross-sectional view taken along line II of FIG. 2 (A). In FIG. 2, a protective plate 4 having a limiting surface 3 and a protective plate 4d having a second limiting surface 3d are provided so as to form a predetermined gap with the blade portion 2a, and the protective plate 4 and the protective plate are provided. The other blade body 1b moves between 4d. As a result, the area of the blade portion 2b that is open beyond the gap is not exposed, so that it cannot be touched and is safer.
[0010]
FIG. 3 is a view showing scissors according to another embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 3, the tip of the blade body 1a is connected to the protection plate 4, and the gap formed by the blade portion 2a and the limiting surface 3 is formed. Has a closed hole shape. In the case of scissors used for inserting an object to be cut from a lateral direction, such as a nail clipper, by doing so, there is no tip of the blade body 1a, and the blade 1a is more secure.
FIG. 4 is a diagram showing scissors according to another embodiment of the present invention, and is an example of scissors without a connecting rotation shaft as shown in FIGS.
[0011]
FIG. 5 is a diagram showing scissors according to another embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5B is a cross-sectional view taken along line II-II of FIG. In FIG. 5, the blade 1a has a plurality of screw holes 9 and has a connecting means capable of detachably fixing the protective plate 4 having the limiting surface 3 with the fixing screw 8. The screw holes are prepared in a direction in which a gap formed by the blade portion 2a and the limiting surface 3 changes stepwise, and the gap can be changed according to an object to be cut by selecting a screw hole to be used. Although the illustrated coupling means uses a screw, a projection provided on the protection plate may be fitted into the groove of the blade body and coupled.
In the illustrated coupling means, the gap changes stepwise by a plurality of screw holes, but, for example, the blade body has one screw hole, the protection plate is a long hole, and it can be fixed at an arbitrary gap with a fixing screw. You may do it.
[0012]
FIG. 6 is a view showing scissors according to another embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 6, a slit 10 having a predetermined width is provided which is substantially parallel to the opening / closing surfaces of the blades 1a and 1b. The protection plate 4 is supported at a position (not shown) of the coupling rotation shaft so that the protection plate 4 is disposed adjacent to the blade bodies 1a and 1b. When the object to be cut is inserted into the slit 10 and the handles 6a and 6b are closed, the intersection formed by the blades 2a and 2b in the process of closing the blades 1a and 1b from the open position is formed in the slit. To cut the object to be cut. In the process of closing the blade portion 2a and the blade portion 2b from the maximum open position, the blade portion 2a and the blade portion 2b overlap with the protection plate 4 when viewed from a direction perpendicular to the opening / closing surface. An object cannot enter between the portion 2a and the blade portion 2b.
[0013]
The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and can be variously modified without departing from the gist thereof. For example, in the scissors shown in FIG. 6, a second protective plate provided with a slit may be prepared, two blades may be disposed between the two protective plates to open and close, and the protective plate may be provided with safety. A hole having a size or shape that does not impair the shape may be formed.
[0014]
【The invention's effect】
The effects obtained by typical aspects of the invention disclosed in the present application will be briefly described as follows.
[0015]
(1) In the scissors of the present invention, the possibility that the body enters between the two blade portions is reduced if the gap is set to a minimum for, for example, an object to be cut which is assumed in an application. For example, in the case of scissors as stationery, a thick object to be cut is cardboard or the like, and the gap may be about 2 mm. In this gap, even a child's finger does not enter, so that there is no accidental injury to the body such as a finger cut.
[0016]
(2) Even if the thickness of the object to be cut changes each time, the gap can be set arbitrarily, so that the maximum safety can be ensured.
[0017]
(3) The tip of the scissors has a larger area than conventional scissors due to the protection plate, and is not sharp, so that it does not accidentally pierce the body.
(4) As a secondary effect brought about by the above effects, the scissors and nail clippers of the present invention can be safely placed even in a place where infants can reach, and can be stored in any location. Also, when a large number of children use scissors in a kindergarten or the like and several teachers watch, they can concentrate on the work without worrying about injuries and reduce the teacher's mental labor.
