Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a knock-type pen-type disinfecting apparatus which can easily perform disinfection work and disinfectant replacement without touching the disinfectant at all, and particularly to disinfecting a connection part of a three-way cock in a drip set. The present invention relates to a disinfecting device suitable for use in a device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Currently, there are various medical devices that require disinfection in hospitals. An example of such a medical device is a three-way stopcock used in an infusion set. A three-way stopcock is a medical device that is set in the middle of an infusion route and is branched in three directions for injecting a drug therefrom. For example, in the case of a three-way stopcock, when an injection needle is inserted into one of the connection parts branched on the three sides, bacteria attached to the connection part, for example, Serratia bacteria, may be mixed into the drip solution and enter the body.
[0003]
In recent years, fatal accidents have occurred frequently in hospitals, and it has been recognized that bacteria contaminating from the above-mentioned medical instruments are a major cause of these fatal accidents. Healthcare workers have responded to the contamination of medical equipment by such bacteria by frequently sterilizing the medical equipment with a cotton ball impregnated with a disinfectant, but manual disinfection of medical equipment is not possible with new bacteria. In addition to the risk of contamination, the bacteria may be contaminated even when the disinfectant is replaced, so that the disinfection work requires careful attention. Further, in the conventional method of disinfecting medical instruments, preparation and replacement of the disinfectant is complicated, and the disinfecting instruments are not suitable for carrying. Therefore, there is a demand for a portable disinfecting instrument which is easy to use.
[0004]
An example of such a disinfecting device is a liquid applicator in which a porous and resilient holding member storing a liquid containing an active ingredient is movably sealed in a laminate bag, and a part of the laminate bag is cut off. A disposable liquid applicator capable of extruding at least a part of the holder from the opening portion has been proposed (see Patent Document 1), but has problems in workability, portability, and economy.

It is hermetically sealed and a rubber ring is provided in the knocking mechanism of the disinfecting instrument, whereby the sealing of the disinfectant impregnating unit at the rear end of the disinfecting instrument is achieved regardless of the operation of the knocking mechanism. In a preferred mode of the knock-type pen-type disinfecting device of the present invention, a plurality of disinfectant-impregnated units are individually packaged, or a plurality of disinfectant-impregnated units are formed so as to be easily broken. Are connected with each other. Further, the knock-type pen-type disinfecting device of the present invention is extremely suitable for use in disinfecting a connection portion of a three-way cock in a drip set.
[0010]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
An example of the knock-type pen-type disinfecting device of the present invention will be described below, but the present invention is not limited to this.
FIG. 1 schematically shows an example of a knock-type pen-type disinfecting device according to the present invention, partially cut away. As can be seen from FIG. 1, the disinfecting device of the present invention includes a core 1 having a plurality of single-use disinfectant-impregnated units 3 therein, and a sheath 2 covering the core 1. When the knock mechanism 4 provided at the rear end (right end in the figure) is pushed (toward the left side in the figure), the disinfectant impregnating units 3 in the core 1 are sequentially aligned and the tip of the disinfecting instrument ( (Left end in the figure), from which it is partially exposed and used for disinfection.
[0011]
The disinfecting apparatus of the present invention basically adopts the structure of a conventionally known knock pen in the writing instrument industry, except that the disinfectant impregnating unit 3 is used in the core 1. The detailed description of is omitted.
[0012]
The disinfectant impregnating unit 3 of the present invention is of a size suitable for single use so that it can be easily separated and discarded after use, and a plurality of these disinfectant impregnating units 3 are continuously arranged on the core 1. Inside. The plurality of disinfectant impregnation units 3 may be individually wrapped so that the wrapping can be removed after each use, or may be connected to each other at a separating portion formed so as to be easily broken and separated. When the separation unit is provided, the disinfectant-impregnated unit 3 used in the used disinfectant-impregnated unit 3 can be separated and discarded by pressing one disinfectant-impregnated unit 3 at the pen tip against a hard place after the disinfection operation.
[0013]
As the disinfectant impregnating unit 3 of the present invention, a conventionally known disinfectant and a substrate for impregnation can be used, and for example, a disinfectant alcohol solution impregnated in a polyester fiber convergent body can be mentioned. As the chemical used for the disinfectant impregnation unit 3, any disinfectant of a conventionally known composition and type can be used, and for example, isopropanol diluted with purified water can be mentioned.
[0014]
Since the disinfectant of the present invention impregnates the disinfectant impregnating unit 3 with a volatile disinfectant, the distal end and the rear end of the disinfectant are hermetically sealed so that the disinfectant does not volatilize and lose the disinfecting effect. It is preferable to employ a stop structure. For example, as shown in FIG. 2, a cap that can be hermetically sealed in the same manner as a known writing instrument can be provided at the distal end of the disinfecting instrument. Evaporation of the disinfectant can be avoided. An airtight sealing structure can also be provided at the rear end of the disinfecting device. For example, by disposing a rubber ring between the core and the sheath, the impregnating agent can be impregnated from the rear end regardless of the operation of the knock mechanism. Evaporation of the disinfectant of the unit 3 can be avoided.
[0015]
Next, an example of a holding structure of the disinfectant impregnating unit 3 at the distal end portion of the disinfecting device of the present invention is schematically shown in FIGS. 3 (a) and 3 (b). It comprises a spring 10 for adjusting the holding state.
[0016]
The tip of the disinfecting device of the present invention is normally in a state in which the spring 10 presses the outer holding member 9 against the inner holding member 8 as shown in FIG. , The disinfectant impregnation unit 3 is firmly held. On the other hand, when the internal holder 8 (core 1) is pushed from the rear end of the disinfecting instrument by the knock mechanism, the internal holder 8 comes out from the outer holder 9 to the front end. Is expanded, the holding state of the disinfectant impregnating unit 3 is released, and the disinfectant impregnating unit 3 is pushed out to the tip.
[0017]
Other structures of the disinfecting device of the present invention other than those described above may be appropriately adopted as conventionally known structures in the writing instrument industry.
[0018]
The disinfecting device of the present invention can be used for disinfecting medical devices in general, but is particularly suitable for disinfecting a small portion such as a connection portion of a three-way cock in an infusion set.
[0019]
Since the disinfecting device of the present invention is configured as described above, the following effects can be obtained.
(1) Disinfection of medical instruments can be performed safely without touching the disinfectant at all.
(2) Since a plurality of disinfectant impregnation units for one use are included, replacement and handling of the disinfectant is easy.
