【0021】
メディア再生装置10は、例えば、CD(Compact Disc)、DVD(Digital Versatile Disc)−Video、DVD−Audio、SACD(Super Audio Compact Disc)、DAT(Digital Audio Tape)といった音声コンテンツを含むデジタルデータが記録されたメディアを再生する再生装置である。
また、AVレシーバ20は、FM放送を受信するためのFM(Frequency Modulation)チューナ、AM放送を受信するためのAM(Amplitude Modulation)チューナを備えていてもよい。
【0023】
【0035】
図5に示すように、AVレシーバ20は、入力インターフェース21と、DSP(Digital Signal Processor)22と、アンプ23と、入力部24と、CPU(Central Processing Unit)25とを備える。
【0036】

[0002]
[Prior art]
A playback device for mounting and playing media on which content including an audio signal is recorded, an amplifier unit for amplifying the audio signal reproduced by the playback device, and a speaker system for outputting the audio signal amplified by the amplifier unit as sound There is a media playback system consisting of
[0003]
Such a media playback system, in addition to playback of media such as a CD (Compact Disk) in which music content is recorded as content including audio signals, has high-quality and high-quality video content. It has become a system capable of reproducing media such as a DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) on which is recorded.
[0004]
Video content that is provided to many people in large spaces such as theaters and movie theaters has sound effects that emphasize the low frequency range in order to provide powerful images to viewers. I use background music. When a DVD on which such video content is recorded is played back by a media playback system, general music is used in order to provide the viewer with the same sound effect as if the video content was being shown in the space. It is required to emphasize the frequency component in the low frequency range compared to the content.
[0005]
In addition, the media playback system, when playing music content mainly composed of so-called “riding” rhythms, is as low as the video content described above in order to express the characteristics of the music content. It is required to emphasize the frequency component of the range.
[0006]
Thus, in a media playback system that plays back media in which video content or music content is recorded, it is required that the audio of the recorded content be played back more effectively for the user. In particular, as described above, the low frequency range of the audio affects the impression that the content gives to the user, and is an important factor in effectively reproducing the content.
[0007]
Therefore, in the speaker system of the media reproduction system, a bass-reflex type speaker (hereinafter referred to as a bass reflex type speaker) that is good at low-frequency reproduction is used. The bass

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, since the low frequency characteristics of the
[0011]
Therefore, if the bass drive component is emphasized in the amplifier driving the speaker in order to obtain the low-frequency output required by the content from the bass
[0012]
In addition, due to the diversification of user preferences, the media playback system not only emphasizes the low frequency range as described above but also emphasizes a specific frequency component such as classical music. In addition, it is necessary to deal with content that requires a uniform frequency component from the low sound range to the high sound range.
[0013]
However, as described above, the low frequency characteristics of the bass
[0014]
Accordingly, the present invention has been devised to solve the above-described problems, and the frequency characteristics of the speaker system and the amplifier frequency are set so that the output characteristics correspond to the characteristics of the content recorded on the media to be played back. It is an object of the present invention to provide a reproduction system and an output characteristic changing method capable of changing characteristics in conjunction with each other.
