【0034】
r=ΔV1/I … (1)
【0035】
Δr300=(ΔV2−ΔV1)/I … (2)
Δr500=(ΔV3−ΔV1)/I … (3)
【0037】
V300=V−(Δr300−r)×I … (4)
V500=V−(Δr500−r)×I … (5)

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a remaining battery level detection device that detects the remaining battery level of a battery, and more particularly to a remaining battery level detection device that detects a remaining battery level according to battery deterioration.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, when the remaining amount of a battery decreases, the discharge voltage of the battery decreases accordingly. Therefore, conventionally, the voltage value of this discharge voltage is measured, and when this voltage value is reduced to a preset end voltage, it is determined that the remaining battery level of the battery has reached the limit value, for example, a warning is displayed. Or turning off the power of the device that uses the battery.
[0003]
In addition, when displaying the remaining battery level of a battery, a numerical value related to the remaining battery level is displayed according to the magnitude of the discharge voltage, or a different mark is displayed according to the magnitude of the discharge voltage. It was.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when the battery is repeatedly charged and discharged, the battery deteriorates and the internal resistance value increases. As shown in FIG. 11, the internal resistance value increases with the number of times of charging. Further, if the battery is left unused for a long time, the battery deteriorates and the internal resistance increases. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 13, the voltage drop of the discharge voltage becomes faster as the internal resistance value of the battery increases (increase in the number of times of charging), so that the end voltage varies depending on the internal resistance value of the battery (the number of times of charging). Therefore, for example, if the end voltage is uniformly set to V1 regardless of the deterioration amount of the battery, the discharge voltage reaches the end voltage before reaching the original end voltage V2 or V3 as shown in FIG. The battery cannot be used up to the end.
[0008]
In the case where a numerical value relating to the remaining battery level is displayed according to the magnitude of the discharge voltage as described above, or a different mark is displayed according to the magnitude of the discharge voltage, as shown in FIGS. As shown, the battery capacity changes due to battery deterioration (number of times of charging or internal resistance value), so the remaining battery level varies depending on the deterioration of the battery even with the same discharge voltage. The mark cannot be displayed.
[0009]
Moreover, it is not possible to know how much the battery deterioration has progressed only by displaying the numerical values and marks relating to the remaining battery level as described above.
[0010]
In view of the circumstances as described above, the present invention provides a battery remaining amount detection device that can detect an appropriate remaining battery level according to the deterioration of the battery and know the amount of battery deterioration. It is the purpose.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A first battery remaining amount detection device according to the present invention includes a deterioration amount detection unit that detects a deterioration amount of a battery, and a termination voltage calculation unit that calculates a termination voltage of the battery according to the deterioration amount detected by the deterioration amount detection unit. It is characterized by comprising.
[0012]
Here, the “deterioration amount” refers to an amount indicating the degree of deterioration of the battery.
[0013]
In addition, the “end voltage” is a voltage indicating a limit for ending the discharge.
[0014]
Further, in the first battery remaining amount detection device, the deterioration amount calculating means may detect the internal resistance value of the battery as the deterioration amount.
[0015]
In addition, the deterioration amount calculation means can detect the number of times the battery is charged as the deterioration amount.
[0016]
Further, the end voltage calculating means may include a limit value setting unit that sets the end voltage to a constant value larger than the threshold when the end voltage is equal to or lower than a predetermined threshold.
[0017]
Here, the “threshold value” can be, for example, the lower limit value of the power supply voltage in a device using a battery.
[0018]
The second battery remaining amount detecting device of the present invention comprises a deterioration amount detecting means for detecting a deterioration amount of a battery, a voltage detecting means for detecting a voltage of the battery, and a battery remaining amount of the battery based on the deterioration amount and the voltage. A battery remaining amount calculating means for calculating is provided.
[0019]
In the second battery remaining amount detection device, the deterioration amount calculating means may detect the internal resistance value of the battery as the deterioration amount.
[0020]
In addition, the deterioration amount calculation means can detect the number of times the battery is charged as the deterioration amount.
[0021]
In the third battery remaining amount detecting device of the present invention, the deterioration amount detecting means for detecting the deterioration amount of the battery, the remaining battery amount detecting means for detecting the remaining battery amount of the battery, the deterioration amount and the remaining battery amount And display means for displaying different marks.
[0022]
Further, in the third battery remaining amount detection device, the deterioration amount calculating means may detect the internal resistance value of the battery as the deterioration amount.
[0023]
In addition, the deterioration amount calculation means can detect the number of times the battery is charged as the deterioration amount.
[0024]
Further, the display means can display a smaller mark as the deterioration amount increases.
[0025]
【The invention's effect】
According to the first battery remaining amount detection device of the present invention, the battery deterioration amount is detected, and the end-of-battery voltage is calculated according to the deterioration amount detection. Can be used up.
[0026]
In addition, when the end voltage calculated as described above is equal to or lower than a predetermined threshold, when the end voltage is set to a constant value larger than the threshold, for example, the threshold is set to a value of a device using a battery. If the lower limit value of the power supply voltage is used, it can be avoided that the end voltage becomes smaller than the lower limit value.
[0027]
According to the second battery remaining amount detection device of the present invention, the battery deterioration amount is detected, the battery voltage is detected, and the battery remaining amount of the battery is calculated based on the deterioration amount and voltage. Thus, it is possible to calculate an appropriate remaining battery level corresponding to the amount of battery deterioration.
[0028]
According to the third battery remaining amount detection apparatus of the present invention, the battery deterioration amount is detected, the battery remaining amount is detected, and different marks are displayed according to the deterioration amount and the battery remaining amount. In addition to knowing the remaining battery level from the mark display, it is possible to know the amount of battery degradation.
[0029]
Further, in the third battery remaining amount detection device, when a smaller mark is displayed as the deterioration amount is larger, for example, how much the deterioration amount and the mark area are proportional to each other. Appropriately know whether it has deteriorated.
[0030]
Further, in the first to third battery remaining amount detection devices, when the internal resistance value of the battery or the number of times of charging the battery is detected as the deterioration amount, the battery deterioration amount is detected with a simple configuration. be able to.
[0031]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, with reference to the drawings, a first embodiment of the remaining battery level detection apparatus of the present invention will be described. FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing a schematic configuration of the battery remaining amount detection device of the present embodiment.
[0032]
As shown in FIG. 1, the battery remaining amount detection apparatus according to the present embodiment corresponds to an internal resistance
[0033]
First, the operation of calculating the internal resistance value in the internal resistance
[0034]
r = ΔV1 / I (1)
Next, 300 times the internal resistance change [Delta] r 300 of the battery 1 was subjected to charging, 500 times each following equation internal resistance change [Delta] r 500 of the battery 1 was subjected to charge (2), the following equation (3) Ask for.
[0035]
Δr 300 = (ΔV2−ΔV1) / I (2)
Δr 500 = (ΔV3−ΔV1) / I (3)
Then, r, Δr 300 and Δr 500 obtained as described above are output to the end voltage calculating means 12.
[0036]
Next, in the end voltage calculation means 12, the end voltage V 300 of the battery 1 that has been charged 300 times and the end voltage V 500 of the battery 1 that has been charged 500 times are respectively expressed by the following expressions (4) and ( 5). Note that V is the end voltage of the battery 1 that has not yet been charged, and is a preset value.
[0037]
V 300 = V- (Δr 300 -r ) × I ... (4)
V 500 = V− (Δr 500 −r) × I (5)
For example, when the discharge voltage of the battery 1 reaches the end voltage, the end voltage calculated as described above indicates that the battery remaining in the apparatus using the battery 1 is exhausted or sounds a warning sound. It is used when informing. Further, when the discharge voltage of the battery 1 reaches the end voltage, the power of the device may be turned off.
[0038]
Further, when the end voltage is calculated as in the above embodiment, an end voltage lower than necessary is calculated when the change in the internal resistance value increases. Therefore, when the end voltage calculated by the end voltage calculating means 14 becomes lower than a predetermined threshold, a limit value setting unit for setting the end voltage to a predetermined constant value higher than the threshold may be provided. Good. As said threshold value, it can be made into the lower limit of the power supply voltage in the apparatus which uses a battery, for example.
[0039]
According to the battery remaining amount detection device of the first embodiment, the internal resistance value of the battery is detected, and the final voltage of the battery is calculated according to the internal resistance value. Can be used up.
[0040]
In the first embodiment, the internal resistance value is directly obtained as the battery deterioration amount. However, the internal resistance value with respect to the number of times of charging is set in advance as a lookup table, and the battery deterioration amount is determined. The number of times of charging may be detected, and the internal resistance value may be calculated based on the number of times of charging.
[0041]
Next, a second embodiment of the remaining battery level detection device of the present invention will be described. FIG. 3 shows a schematic configuration diagram of the battery remaining amount detection device of the present embodiment.
[0042]
As shown in FIG. 3, the remaining battery level detection device of the present embodiment is counted by a
[0043]
Although the counting means 20 counts the number of times the battery 1 is charged, the configuration may be any configuration. For example, the charging / discharging control circuit that controls the charging / discharging of the battery 1 may detect that the battery 1 has been charged, store it in a memory and count it, or detect the number of times set in the charger with a switch or the like. Then, the number of times of charging may be counted.
[0044]
Next, the operation of the remaining battery level detection device of the second embodiment will be described.
[0045]
First, the voltage value detected by the
[0046]
On the other hand, at this time, for example, the operating time calculation circuit as shown in FIG. 6 measures the current flowing from the battery 1 to the device using the battery 1, and calculates the current consumption in the device using the battery 1. The discharge capacity in the device using the battery 1 is obtained based on the current consumption, and the operation time is calculated based on the value obtained by subtracting the discharge capacity from the total discharge capacity when the battery 1 has not yet deteriorated.
[0047]
When the operation time calculated by the operation time calculation circuit as described above is larger than the operation time calculated by the battery remaining amount calculation means 24, the operation time is calculated by the operation time calculation circuit. The value calculated by the operation time calculation circuit is set until the voltage detected by the voltage detection means 22 becomes less than 4.0V. When the operation time calculated by the operation time calculation circuit is smaller than the operation time obtained by the battery remaining

[0053]
According to the battery remaining amount detection device of the second embodiment, the battery deterioration amount is detected, the battery voltage is detected, and the battery remaining amount of the battery is calculated based on the deterioration amount and voltage. Therefore, it is possible to calculate an appropriate remaining battery level according to the amount of battery deterioration.
[0054]
Further, in the second embodiment, the deterioration amount of the battery 1 is obtained based on the number of times of charging counted by the counting means 20, but not limited to this, the internal resistance value of the battery 1 is detected, The deterioration amount may be obtained based on the internal resistance value. The method for detecting the internal resistance value of the battery 1 may be the same as in the first embodiment.
[0055]
Further, when the deterioration amount is obtained based on the internal resistance value as described above, the end voltage is calculated based on the detected internal resistance value as in the first embodiment. Good.

[0058]
Next, a third embodiment of the remaining battery level detection device of the present invention will be described. FIG. 9 shows a schematic configuration diagram of the remaining battery level detection device of the present embodiment.
[0059]
As shown in FIG. 9, the remaining battery level detection device of the present embodiment includes a counting unit 30 that counts the number of times the battery 1 is charged, a remaining battery
[0060]
Although the counting means 30 counts the number of times the battery 1 is charged, the configuration may be any configuration. For example, the charging / discharging control circuit that controls the charging / discharging of the battery 1 may detect that the battery 1 has been charged, store it in a memory and count it, or detect the number of times set in the charger with a switch or the like. Then, the number of times of charging may be counted.
[0061]
As the remaining battery level detection means 32, for example, the remaining battery level may be detected by detecting the discharge voltage of the battery 1, or the circuit as shown in FIG. 6 described in the second embodiment is used. Then, the battery remaining amount may be calculated as described above. Further, as in the second embodiment, the remaining battery level may be obtained based on the discharge voltage and the deterioration amount of the battery 1.
[0062]
The display means 34 is, for example, an LCD monitor, displays the remaining battery level of the battery 1 based on the remaining battery level detected by the remaining battery level detection means 32, and the number of times of charging counted by the counting means 30. The deterioration amount of the battery 1 is displayed based on the above. Specifically, as a method for displaying the remaining battery level of the battery 1, for example, it may be displayed as shown in FIG. 8 described in the second embodiment. Further, as a method of displaying the deterioration of the battery 1, for example, when the deterioration amount is 0%, the display is as shown in FIG. 10A, and when the deterioration amount is 20%, it is shown in FIG. 10B. As shown in FIG. 10A, the mark is smaller than the mark shown in FIG. 10A. When the deterioration amount is 40%, the mark is displayed smaller than the mark shown in FIG. 10B as shown in FIG. When the amount is 60%, a smaller mark than that shown in FIG. 10C is displayed as shown in FIG. It is desirable that the size of the mark is proportional to the amount of deterioration.
[0063]
Further, in the third embodiment, the deterioration amount of the battery 1 is obtained based on the number of times of charging counted by the counting means 20, but not limited thereto, the internal resistance value of the battery 1 is detected, The deterioration amount may be obtained based on the internal resistance value. The method for detecting the internal resistance value of the battery 1 may be the same as in the first embodiment.
[0064]
Further, when the deterioration amount is obtained based on the internal resistance value as described above, the end voltage is calculated based on the detected internal resistance value in the same manner as in the first embodiment, and the end voltage is calculated. In such a case, the display may be made so that the remaining battery level becomes zero.
[0065]
According to the battery remaining amount detection device of the third embodiment, the battery deterioration amount is detected, the battery remaining amount is detected, and different marks are displayed according to the deterioration amount and the battery remaining amount. Therefore, it is possible to know the battery remaining amount and the battery deterioration amount by the mark display.
