従来、特開2000−314350号などに開示されるように、2サイクル機関の層状掃気機構は掃気時の燃料の吹抜けを防止するために、混合気通路とは別に空気通路を設け、掃気初期に空気層をもつて掃気し、その後に混合気層をもつて掃気するとともに、クランク室へ吸気する層状掃気機構が知られている。

上記課題を解決するために、本発明の構成は混合気を供給制御する絞り弁を有する気化器と、空気弁を配した空気通路とを有する2サイクル機関の層状掃気機構において、掃気用空気供給体に複数の空気通路を設け、各空気通路には同期して空気通路を開閉する空気弁をそれぞれ配設し、該空気弁を固持する弁軸の外端部に空気弁レバーを結合し、該空気弁レバーをリンクにより絞り弁レバーと連動連結し、掃気用空気供給体は空気通路を互いに連結する間の部分で、気化器構成部品を介して気化器に固定したことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明では掃気用空気供給体に複数の空気通路を設け、各空気通路には同期して空気通路を開閉する空気弁をそれぞれ配設する。空気弁を固持する弁軸の外端部に結合した空気弁レバーをリンクにより絞り弁レバーと連動連結し、掃気用空気量を増加する。掃気用空気供給体は空気通路を互いに連結する部分間で、気化器構成部品を介して気化器本体に固定し、掃気用空気供給体の組付性を良好にする。

図1に示すように、層状掃気機構を備えた気化器は気化器本体1を前後方向に貫通する吸気道2の出口側に、蝶型の絞り弁3を傾斜した弁軸4により支持され、必要により吸気道2の入口側に蝶型のチヨーク弁(図示せず)を弁軸によりそれぞれ支持してなる。弁軸4の外端部に戻しばねが巻装されかつ半円板状の絞り弁レバー5が結合される。絞り弁3は戻しばねの力により、図示のアイドル位置へ回転付勢される。この時、絞り弁レバー5は気化器本体1の側壁部に螺合支持したアイドル停止ボルト7の円錐面に当接される。アイドル停止ボルト7を緩めるか締め付けることにより、絞り弁レバー5のアイドル位置(絞り弁3のアイドル開度)は加減される。気化器本体1の側壁部には、低速燃料調整針弁28と高速燃料調整針弁29が備えられる。気化器本体1の上端面には、膜22を挟んで板状のポンプカバー18をボルト17により結合して、燃料ポンプ20が構成される。
