従来のエレベータのかご位置検出装置においては、昇降路内の上方終端階付近に4つの被検出体が上下方向に互いに間隔をおいて配置され、同様に下方終端階付近にも4つの被検出体が上下方向に互いに間隔をおいて配置されている。そして、各被検出体には、その位置に応じて互いに異なる配置パターンで作動片が配置されている。即ち、各被検出体は、6列の被検出部を有し、これらの被検出部の3箇所に作動片が選択的に配置されている。かごには、作動片の有無を検出する6個の検出センサ部が被検出部に対応して搭載されている(例えば、特許文献1参照)。

上記のような従来のかご位置検出装置においては、上下8箇所で互いに異なる配置パターンとし、かつ検出センサ部の故障を検出するために各被検出体における作動片の数を互いに同数(3個)とする必要があるなどの理由から、被検出部が6箇所必要であり、対応する検出センサ部も6個必要であった。このため、かご側及び昇降路側の設置スペースが大きくなってしまう。

そこでこの発明は、上記のような問題点を解決することを課題とするもので、設置スペースを小さくすることができるエレベータのかご位置検出装置を得ることを目的とする。

この発明に係るエレベータのかご位置検出装置は、かごの昇降方向に互いに間隔をおいて昇降路内に配置され、かつ互いに異なる配置パターンで配置されている作動片を有する複数の被検出体、かごに搭載され、作動片の有無を検出する複数の検出センサ部を有する検出器、及び検出器からの情報により配置パターンを検出し、配置パターンに対応したかごの位置を求める検出回路部を備え、各検出センサ部は、同一箇所における作動片の有無に対して互いに異なる信号を出力する第1及び第2センサを有し、検出回路部は、第1及び第2センサからの信号の組み合わせにより、作動片の有無を判定し配置パターンを検出するとともに、検出センサ部の故障の有無を検出するようになっている。

以下、この発明の実施の形態を図面を参照しながら説明する。
実施の形態1.
図1は、この発明の実施の形態1によるエレベータのかご位置検出装置を示す正面図である。また、図2は、図1のエレベータのかご位置検出装置を示す平面図である。図において、昇降路1の上方終端階付近には、水平方向に延びた第1上部取付バー2a〜第4上部取付バー2dがかご4の昇降方向に沿って下から順に互いに間隔をおいて配置されている。また、昇降路1の下方終端階付近には、水平方向に延びた第1下部取付バー3a〜第4下部取付バー3dがかご4の昇降方向に沿って上から順に互いに間隔をおいて配置されている。即ち、第1上部取付バー2a〜第4上部取付バー2dと第1下部取付バー3a〜第4下部取付バー3dとは、互いに対称位置にそれぞれ配置されている。

即ち、昇降路1の上方終端階付近のすべての作動位置18U〜21Uに検出センサ部14に対応する上部プレート5a、6a、7a及び8aが配置され、下方終端階付近のすべての作動位置18D〜21Dに検出センサ部15に対応する下部プレート9a、10a、11a及び12aが配置されている。

また、互いに対称位置の関係にある作動位置でのプレート5〜12は、互いにプレート5〜12の配置を補うような配置パターン、即ち相補的な配置パターンとなるように配置されている。例えば、第1上部作動位置18Uでは、第1上部取付バー2aの4箇所の被検出部のうち、検出センサ部14に対応する被検出部にのみ上部プレート5aが配置されている。これに対し、第1下部作動位置18Dでは、検出センサ部14に対応する被検出部にプレートは配置されずに、検出センサ部15〜17に対応する被検出部に下部プレート9a〜9cがそれぞれ配置されている。

図3は、検出センサ部14の構成を示す平面図である。また、図4は、図3の検出センサ部14の動作を示す説明図である。図において、検出センサ部14は、同一箇所におけるプレート5a〜8aの有無に対して互いに異なる信号を出力する第1センサ22及び第2センサ23を有している。ここでは、溝部14aに磁界が形成されており、第1センサ22は、プレート5a〜8aが溝部14aに遊挿されていないときにOFF信号を出力し、プレート5a〜8aの溝部14aへの遊挿により磁気遮蔽されているときにON信号を出力するようになっている。逆に、第2センサ23は、プレート5a〜8aが溝部14aに遊挿されていないときにON信号を出力し、プレート5a〜8aの溝部14aへの遊挿により磁気遮蔽されているときにOFF信号を出力するようになっている。即ち、第2センサ23は、プレート5a〜8aの有無を示す信号を反転する反転器24を有しており、第2センサ23からは、第1センサ22で出力される信号に対してプレート5a〜8aの有無を反転させた信号(逆符号の信号)が出力されるようになっている。
検出センサ部15〜17についても検出センサ部14と同様の構成となっている。即ち、検出センサ部15〜17は、第1センサ22及び第2センサ23をそれぞれ有している。

検出センサ部14〜17は、エレベータの制御装置(図示せず)に搭載された検出回路部25にそれぞれ電気的に接続されている。検出回路部25は、検出センサ部14〜17の各第1センサ22及び各第2センサ23からの信号により、プレート5〜12の配置パターンをコード化するようになっている。即ち、検出回路部25は、ON信号の入力をバイナリーコード「1」として表し、OFF信号の入力をバイナリーコード「0」として表すようになっており、各検出センサ部14〜17からの信号により各作動位置18U〜21U及び18D〜21Dについての8ビットのバイナリーコードを表すようになっている。

このように、検出センサ部14〜17は、同一箇所でのプレートの有無に対して互いに異なる信号を出力する第1センサ22及び第2センサ23をそれぞれ有しているので、検出回路部25で第1センサ22及び第2センサ23からの信号の組み合わせにより、検出センサ部14〜17の故障の有無をそれぞれ検出することができる。従って、かご4の位置を検出するために、従来のように作動位置ごとに同数のプレートを配置する必要がなくなり、少ない枚数でさらに多くのプレートの配置パターンを構成することができる。このことから、検出センサ部の個数を少なくすることができ、検出器26、取付バー2a〜2d及び3a〜3dの設置スペースを小さくすることができる。そのため、例えばかご4等のレイアウト設計の自由度を向上させることができる。

以上の説明から明らかなように、この発明に係るエレベータのかご位置検出装置での各検出センサ部は、同一箇所における作動片の有無に対して互いに異なる信号を出力する第1及び第2センサを有し、検出回路部は、第1及び第2センサからの信号の組み合わせにより、作動片の有無を判定し配置パターンを検出するとともに、検出センサ部の故障の有無を検出するようになっているので、検出センサ部の個数を少なくすることができ設置スペースを小さくすることができる。
