現在においてこれらの事故が発生した際、もっとも重要視しなければならない人命を救助する有効な手段が無いのが実情である。
従って、このような事件が発生した際、必ずほとんどの人々が犠牲になっている。
考案者はこのことを最も憂慮し、僅かでも犠牲になる人々を救助することを目的として当該発明による救命用パラシュートを発明した。

従来の技術では特開平9−290029が公開されているが、これは単に傘を大きくしたイメージのものであるため、人体を支えるだけの大きさを必要とし、大型になることにより、狭い窓から飛び降りるには操作上、大変困難である。
また、構造上、安定した飛行が出来ず、迷走することが予想される。
従って、本発明においては全体の小型化を計り、速やかにパラシュート部IIを開かせ、開いた後は、傘部Iの中心から通風口ダクト9を経由して空気が抜ける事により常に安定した飛行が出来るようにしたものである。

当該発明が解決しようとする課題点は、上記した従来の方法をより現実的なものとして、実際に安価な実用品として万一の災害に多く使用され、具体的に多くの人命を救助することによって、社会に大きく貢献できることを目的としている。

上記の課題解決点として下記に示す方式を示す。
本発明による救命用パラシュートは、上記の問題点を全て解決出来る画期的な器具であると確信する。

本発明に係る救命用パラシュートの構造は、開いて飛び降りる傘部Iは、身体に固定するための身体固定ベルト1と握って飛び降りる取手3、傘帆布6、通風口ダクト9、傘ロープ2及びこれらを保持する傘フレーム7にて構成される。パラシュート部IIは、傘部Iから接続されている接続ロープ11とパラシュート帆布10 通風口ダクト9とパラシュート帆布10を接続している通風口ロープ12で構成されている。
なお、不使用時は傘部Iとパラシュート部IIはマジックテープ5で固定されている。

高層ビルにて災害が発生して脱出手段が閉ざされた場合に当該機器を使用するわけであるが、まず、当該機器を収納装置から取り出して身体固定ベルト1を締め付け、バルコニーや窓などの開口部や屋上に行き、傘を開ける要領で傘部1を開け、傘部の取手3をしっかりと握って飛び降りる。
このとき、傘部1の上には折り畳んでマジックテープ5にて固定されたパラシュート帆布10が載っているが、飛び降りた瞬間に身体重量による降下速度によって発生する空気抵抗とそれによって発生する気流が傘部中央に設けた開口部から通気口ダクト9を通ってパラシュート帆布10に気流が流れ、これを確実に開かせる。
その後は、通常のパラシュートのように空中を滑空し、一定時間後に着地する。

今まで説明したとおり、本発明の目的とする所は、この器具の採用によって、超高層ビルの災害時における一人でも多くの人命を救助するところにある。
今日では、大都市部は勿論の事、地方都市におけるビルの超高層化は目覚しく、この高密度化は大きく社会に貢献していると思うが、一方では火災、地震、テロなどによる危険を併せ持っている。
しかし、これらの対策はこれといった妙案が無く、手付かずのままとなっている。これはわが国にとどまらず広く世界的な傾向として今後においてもその需要が益々増大すると推測される。
このような傾向に対して本発明による救命パラシュートは、簡単な構造、原理により、確実に動作させることが出来、そして安価で提供出来ることにより多くの需要が見込まれ、ひいては何よりも社会に大きく貢献することを確信する。
