Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a telescopic shaft for a vehicle steering that can realize stable sliding load, reliably prevent backlash, and transmit torque in a highly rigid state.
[0002]
[Prior art]
FIG. 14 shows a steering mechanism of a general automobile. “A” and “b” in FIG. The telescopic shaft a has a male shaft and a female shaft spline-fitted. The telescopic shaft a absorbs the axial displacement generated when the automobile runs, and the telescopic shaft a is mounted on the steering wheel. Performance that does not transmit displacement or vibration is required. Such a performance is achieved by a structure in which the body has a sub-frame structure, a portion c for fixing the upper part of the steering mechanism and a frame e to which the steering rack d is fixed are separate bodies, and an elastic body f such as rubber is provided therebetween. It is generally required in the case of a structure that is fastened and fixed via a. Further, as another case, when the steering shaft coupling g is fastened to the pinion shaft h, the operator may need to contract the telescopic shaft once, and then fit and fasten the pinion shaft h so that the telescopic function is required. . Further, the telescopic shaft b at the upper part of the steering mechanism is also one in which the male shaft and the female shaft are spline-fitted, and the telescopic shaft b has an optimal position for the driver to drive the car. The function of adjusting the position by moving the position of the steering wheel i in the axial direction and obtaining the function of expanding and contracting in the axial direction is required. In all of the above cases, the telescopic shaft is required to reduce the rattling noise of the spline part, reduce the rattling on the steering wheel, and reduce the sliding resistance during axial sliding operation. Is done.
[0003]
For this reason, in
[0004]
Each set of torque transmitting members (cylindrical members) is composed of a plurality of needle rollers arranged in parallel in the axial direction.
[0005]
This prevents rattling between the male shaft and the female shaft when torque is not transmitted (sliding), and the male shaft and the female shaft are rotated by a stable sliding load without rattling. Can slide in any direction. Further, at the time of torque transmission, the male shaft and the female shaft can prevent the rattling in the rotation direction and transmit the torque in a highly rigid state.
[0006]
Further, in order to prevent rattling in the rotation direction (circumferential direction) of the needle roller, a resin adjustment member (cage) is provided.
[0007]
[Patent Document 1]
European Patent Application Publication No. EP1078843A1
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In
[0009]
However, the adjustment member (cage) made of resin has a problem in abrasion resistance, and it is difficult to maintain performance without rattling for a long period of time. Therefore, when wear occurs, the steering shaft may feel loose.
[0010]
Further, since the telescopic shaft of
[0011]
The present invention has been made in view of the circumstances described above, and realizes a stable sliding load, reliably prevents backlash in the rotational direction, can transmit torque in a highly rigid state, In addition, it is an object of the present invention to provide a telescopic shaft for a vehicle steering that can reduce the number of parts, facilitate assembly work, and reduce manufacturing cost while achieving compactness.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a vehicle steering telescopic shaft according to
A first interposed portion provided on an outer peripheral surface of the male shaft and an inner peripheral surface of the female shaft; and when the male shaft and the female shaft are disposed in the first interposed portion and are relatively moved in the axial direction. A first torque transmitting member that slides, and the first torque transmitting member is disposed in the first interposition portion radially adjacent to the first torque transmitting member, and restrains the first torque transmitting member during rotation; A first torque transmission device comprising: an elastic body that applies a preload to the male shaft and the female shaft via the first torque transmission member when not rotating;
A second interposed portion provided on an outer peripheral surface of the male shaft and an inner peripheral surface of the female shaft; and when the male shaft and the female shaft are disposed in the second interposed portion and are relatively moved in the axial direction. And a second torque transmitting device comprising: a second torque transmitting member that slides and transmits torque when rotating.
[0013]
Thus, according to the first aspect of the present invention, when torque is not transmitted (during relative movement in the axial direction), the first and second torque transmitting members are not rattled with respect to the female shaft by the elastic body. The radial and circumferential preloads to a certain degree can reliably prevent rattling between the male and female shafts, and ensure that the male and female shafts have a stable sliding load without rattling. Can slide in the axial direction.
[0014]
At the time of torque transmission, the first and second torque transmission members can be restrained in the circumferential direction by the elastic body, so that it is possible to reliably prevent the backlash in the rotational direction between the male shaft and the female shaft, thereby achieving high rigidity. The torque can be transmitted in the state described above.
[0015]
Further, the telescopic shaft for vehicle steering according to
[0016]
As described above, according to the second aspect, the first and second torque transmitting members are each formed of a cylindrical body, and when the torque is not transmitted (during relative movement in the axial direction), the cylindrical body is formed by the elastic body. Because the shaft is preloaded in the radial and circumferential directions to the extent that there is no backlash, the backlash between the male and female shafts can be reliably prevented, and the male and female shafts are It can slide in the axial direction with a stable sliding load without backlash. In addition, during torque transmission, the cylindrical body can be constrained in the circumferential direction by the elastic body, so that it is possible to reliably prevent backlash in the rotational direction between the male shaft and the female shaft, and to maintain the torque in a highly rigid state. Can be transmitted.
[0017]
Further, the telescopic shaft for vehicle steering according to
[0018]
As described above, according to the third aspect, when it is desired to further reduce the sliding load, a solid lubricating film is formed on the surface of the cylindrical body (needle roller) as the first and second torque transmitting members. The sliding load is obtained by multiplying the friction coefficient by the applied load. Therefore, if the friction coefficient can be reduced, the sliding load can be reduced. Therefore, a further low sliding load can be realized by forming a solid lubricating film and reducing the friction coefficient.
[0019]
Further, the telescopic shaft for vehicle steering according to claim 4 is characterized in that a low friction solid lubricating film is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the female shaft.
As described above, according to the fourth aspect, a solid lubricating film is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the female shaft to reduce the friction coefficient, so that a further low sliding load can be realized.
[0020]
Furthermore, the telescopic shaft for vehicle steering according to
An interposition portion provided on the outer peripheral surface of the male shaft and the inner peripheral surface of the female shaft, and sliding when the male shaft and the female shaft are disposed in the interposition portion in the axial relative movement. A torque transmitting member that is disposed radially adjacent to the torque transmitting member in the interposition portion, and constrains the torque transmitting member when rotating, and via the torque transmitting member when not rotating. A first torque transmission device comprising: an elastic body that applies a preload to the male shaft and the female shaft.
An axial groove formed on one of an inner peripheral surface of the female shaft and an outer peripheral surface of the male shaft; and an outer peripheral surface of the male shaft and an inner peripheral surface of the female shaft so as to fit into the axial groove. An axial ridge that slides when the male shaft and the female shaft move relative to each other in the axial direction, and transmits torque when the male shaft and the female shaft rotate. And a transmission device.
[0021]
Thus, according to the fifth aspect, the axial groove formed on one of the inner peripheral surface of the female shaft and the outer peripheral surface of the male shaft, and the outer peripheral surface of the male shaft so as to fit into the axial groove. Formed on the other of the inner peripheral surface of the female shaft and the female shaft, slides when the male shaft and the female shaft move relative to each other in the axial direction, and transmits a torque when rotating, and an axial ridge portion. A second torque transmission device.
[0022]
Therefore, when torque is not transmitted (at the time of relative movement in the axial direction), the elastic member preloads the torque transmitting member and the axial ridge in the radial direction and the circumferential direction to the extent that there is no play. Rattling between the shaft and the female shaft can be reliably prevented, and the male shaft and the female shaft can slide in the axial direction with a stable sliding load without rattling. Also, at the time of torque transmission, since the torque transmitting member and the axial ridge can be restrained in the circumferential direction by the elastic body, it is possible to reliably prevent the play in the rotational direction between the male shaft and the female shaft. The torque can be transmitted in a state of high rigidity.
[0023]
Further, since the other of the outer peripheral surface of the male shaft and the inner peripheral surface of the female shaft is provided with an axial ridge for transmitting torque, the second torque transmitting member according to
[0024]
Furthermore, the telescopic shaft for vehicle steering according to
[0025]
Thus, according to
[0026]
Further, the telescopic shaft for vehicle steering according to
[0027]
As described above, according to the seventh aspect, a further low sliding load can be realized by forming a solid lubricating film on the surface of the pair of cylinders and reducing the friction coefficient.
[0028]
Further, the telescopic shaft for vehicle steering according to
[0029]
Thus, according to
[0030]
Further, the telescopic shaft for vehicle steering according to
[0031]
Thus, according to the ninth aspect, a further low sliding load can be realized by forming a solid lubricating film on the outer peripheral surface of the male shaft and reducing the friction coefficient.

[0102]
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, but can be variously modified.
[0103]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the first aspect of the present invention, when torque is not transmitted (during relative movement in the axial direction), the first and second torque transmitting members are backlashed with respect to the female shaft by the elastic body. Since the radial and circumferential preloads are such that there is no looseness, it is possible to reliably prevent backlash between the male and female shafts, and to ensure that the male and female shafts are stable and free of play. It can slide in the axial direction with a dynamic load.
[0104]
At the time of torque transmission, the first and second torque transmission members can be restrained in the circumferential direction by the elastic body, so that it is possible to reliably prevent the backlash in the rotational direction between the male shaft and the female shaft, thereby achieving high rigidity. The torque can be transmitted in the state described above.
[0105]
According to the second aspect, the first and second torque transmitting members are each formed of a cylindrical body, and when the torque is not transmitted (during relative movement in the axial direction), the cylindrical body is formed into a female shaft by an elastic body. In contrast, the preload in the radial and circumferential directions is such that there is no backlash, so that the backlash between the male and female shafts can be reliably prevented, and the male and female shafts have backlash. It can slide in the axial direction with a stable sliding load without. In addition, during torque transmission, the cylindrical body can be constrained in the circumferential direction by the elastic body, so that it is possible to reliably prevent backlash in the rotational direction between the male shaft and the female shaft, and to maintain the torque in a highly rigid state. Can be transmitted.
[0106]
According to the third aspect, when it is desired to further reduce the sliding load, a solid lubricating film is formed on the surfaces of the cylindrical bodies (needle rollers) as the first and second torque transmitting members. The sliding load is obtained by multiplying the friction coefficient by the applied load. Therefore, if the friction coefficient can be reduced, the sliding load can be reduced. Therefore, a further low sliding load can be realized by forming a solid lubricating film and reducing the friction coefficient.
[0107]
Further, according to the fourth aspect, a further low sliding load can be realized by forming a solid lubricating film on the inner peripheral surface of the female shaft and reducing the friction coefficient.
[0108]
Further, according to
[0109]
[0110]
Further, since the other of the outer peripheral surface of the male shaft and the inner peripheral surface of the female shaft is provided with an axial ridge for transmitting torque, the second torque transmitting member according to
[0111]
According to the sixth aspect, when torque is not transmitted (during relative movement in the axial direction), the cylindrical body and the axial ridge are preloaded by the elastic body in the radial direction and the circumferential direction so that there is no play. Therefore, rattling between the male shaft and the female shaft can be reliably prevented, and the male shaft and the female shaft can slide in the axial direction with a stable sliding load without rattling. . Also, at the time of torque transmission, the elastic body allows the cylindrical body and the axial ridge to be constrained in the circumferential direction, so that it is possible to reliably prevent backlash in the rotational direction between the male shaft and the female shaft, Torque can be transmitted with high rigidity.
[0112]
Further, according to the seventh aspect, a further low sliding load can be realized by forming a solid lubricating film on the surface of the pair of cylinders and reducing the friction coefficient.
[0113]
Further, according to
[0114]
Further, according to the ninth aspect, a further low sliding load can be realized by forming a solid lubricating film on the outer peripheral surface of the male shaft to reduce the friction coefficient.
