本発明は、列車の定位置停止支援装置の改良に関する。

特許文献1には、ホームに安全柵とホームドアを備えた鉄道において、列車が定位置に停止したことをITVカメラの画像処理によって検出し、列車ドアの開閉を許可するなどの停車時の制御を行うことが開示されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
特許文献1では、列車が定位置に停止した後の列車ドアやホームドアの開閉などの停車時の制御について開示されているが、列車を定位置に停止させるための方策については開示がない。自動列車運転装置(ATO)付の列車は、ほぼ間違いなくホームドアに対向した所定の定位置範囲に停止する。しかし、ATOの無い列車では、運転手が手動操作でホームドアに対向した所定の定位置範囲に停止させなければならない。ATOの有無に関係なく、所定の定位置から外れて停車した場合には、運転手が手動で列車を後退あるいは前進させ、位置合わせを行う必要がある。

本発明の目的は、列車を定位置に停止させる位置合わせ運転時の運転手の負担を軽減できる列車の定位置停止支援装置を提供することである。

また、本発明の他の目的とするところは、既存設備を用いて列車の定位置停止を支援でき、特に列車側の設備を変更することなく、簡易に列車の定位置停止支援装置を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の特徴とするところは、地上側に設置され地上及び列車の一部を撮像対象とするカメラと、このカメラの映像を取り込む画像入力手段と、この画像入力手段により取り込まれた画像を用いて列車が定位置に停止したことを検出する手段を備えた列車の定位置停止支援装置において、前記定位置停止検出手段により列車が所定の停止位置を外れていることを検出したとき、異常を示す信号とともに前記カメラによる画像を前記列車の運転手に報知する報知手段を備えたことである。

これにより、列車を定位置に停止させる位置合わせ運転時の運転手に、定位置を外れていることと併せて、その位置ずれの様子を画像で認識させることによって、運転手を支援し、その負担を軽減できる
また、本発明の他の特徴とするところは、プラットホームの線路側に設けた安全柵と、この安全柵の所定位置に設けたドアと、地上側に設置され地上及び列車の一部を含む前記安全柵と列車ドアの隙間を撮像対象とするカメラと、このカメラの映像を取り込む画像入力手段と、この画像入力手段により取り込まれた画像を用いて列車の停止位置が定位置停止範囲内に停止したか否かを検出する定位置停止検出手段を備えた列車の定位置停止支援装置において、定位置停止検出手段により列車が所定の停止位置を外れていることを検出したとき、異常を示す信号とともにカメラによる画像を列車の運転手に報知する報知手段と、画像入力手段により取り込まれた画像を用いて列車と安全柵との間の物体の有無を検出する支障物(居残り物体)検出手段と、この支障物検出手段が支障物を検出したことに応じて警報を発する警報手段とを備えたことである。

このように、複数の検知対象範囲にカメラを設置して、列車が停止した場合、それぞれのカメラの画像処理に基き、それぞれに停止位置を検出し、複数の定位置停止検出手段の出力を総合して最終判定する。したがって、地上側のみに設置したカメラと画像処理装置のみで、列車側の設備を変更することなく、簡易な設備で定位置停止支援装置を提供できる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の一実施例を図面を用いて説明する。

図1は、本発明の一実施例による列車の定位置停止支援装置を示す全体システム構成図である。図1において、プラットホーム1の端部には、複数の停止位置目標の標識2群、例えば4両用の停止目標標識21、や8両用の停止目標標識22が設置されている。プラットホーム1の端部以外には、複数のドア停止位置マーク3群、例えば先頭車両ドアのドア停止位置マーク32や、先頭から2番目の車両ドアのドア停止位置マーク31が設置されている。また、プラットホーム1の天井にはカメラ4群、例えばドア停止位置マーク31,32付近を撮像するカメラ41や、停止目標標識22付近を撮像するカメラ42が設置されている。カメラ4群は、定位置停止の監視領域(撮像視野範囲)、例えば、カメラ42は、停止位置目標22と列車の先頭部が撮像視野範囲となるように配置され、カメラ41は、ドア停止位置マーク31,32と列車のドア部が撮像視野範囲となるように配置されている。カメラ4群は、演算処理装置(MPU)43、画像処理装置44および送信/受信制御装置45とが一体構成になっている。

MPU43は、画像処理装置44にカメラ画像を入力し、画像処理の手順を制御する。MPU43は、画像を入力すると画像処理装置44に画像処理を行わせ、列車の停止位置が定位置範囲内に停止したか否かを判定する。

一方、映像不良や機器不良の何れも発生していない場合には、まず、標識位置登録手段445が、定位置停止検出手段444で位置検出処理を行うまでに、例示した停止位置目標2群やドア停止位置マーク3群の位置を予め算出して格納しておく。その後、定位置停止検出手段444は、列車5の停止位置が定位置範囲内に停止したか否かを判定する。停止位置目標22付近を撮像している画像処理一体型カメラ42は、ドア停止位置マーク31,32付近を撮像しているカメラ41の位置検出結果を受信する。すると、これらの結果を総合判定して、最終的に停止位置結果を判定し、その結果をMPU43から送信/受信制御装置45を経由して、乗務員や駅務員が目視する表示装置6へ表示して通知する。

図3では、標識位置登録手段445で予め登録した停止位置目標をテンプレートパターンにし、カメラ42の入力画像に対してパターンを探索する手法で説明したが、撮像している監視領域(撮像視野範囲)に予め停止位置ゾーンを設置しておく方法でもよい。この方法は、予めテンプレートパターンを設定する必要がないため、テンプレートパターンを格納するメモリや、テンプレートパターンの探索処理が省けるため、メモリの削減、処理速度の向上が図れる効果がある。

図5は、本発明の一実施例による定位置停止検出及び、表示支援処理フローチャートである。まず、ステップ501において画像を入力する。ステップ502は、ステップ501で入力した直前画像と現画像の画素毎の差分を行いチェックする。ステップ502で差分が閾値以上の場合、ステップ503へ進む。差分が閾値未満の場合、ステップ501へ戻る。ステップ503は、ステップ502の差分画像を用いて停止位置の算出を行う。ステップ504は、ステップ503で算出した停止位置と、予め格納した停止目標標識22の停止位置との比較を行いチェックする。停止位置が範囲内の場合、ステップ505は、正常と判定する。停止位置が範囲外の場合、ステップ506は、異常と判定する。ステップ507は、判定結果に応じた内容を格納し、MPU43から送信/受信制御装置45を経由して、乗務員や駅務員が目視する表示装置6へ表示して通知する。

図6は、本発明の他の実施例による定位置停止検出及び表示支援処理フローチャートである。まず、ステップ601において画像を入力する。ステップ602は、ステップ601で入力した直前画像と現画像の画素毎の差分を行いチェックする。差分が閾値以上の場合、ステップ603で停止目標標識22の位置に設置しているカメラ42か否かチェックする。差分が閾値未満の場合、ステップ601へ戻る。ステップ603で停止目標標識22の位置に設置しているカメラ42の場合、ステップ604は、ステップ602の差分画像を用いて停止位置の算出を行う。ステップ603で停止目標標識22の位置以外に設置しているカメラ41等の場合、ステップ601へ戻る。ステップ604は、ステップ602の差分画像を用いて、停止位置目標に設置のカメラ及びドア停止位置マークに設置のカメラに対して、カメラ毎に停止位置の算出を行う。ステップ605は、カメラ毎にステップ604で算出した停止位置と、予め格納した停止目標標識22の位置との比較を行い停止位置を算出する。ステップ606は、カメラ毎の算出位置から、多数決による最終判定を行う。ステップ607は、ステップ606の最終判定結果をチェックする。ステップ607の判定において、停止位置が所定範囲内の場合、ステップ608は、正常と判定し、停止位置が所定範囲外の場合、ステップ609は、異常と判定する。ステップ610は、判定結果に応じた内容を格納し、MPU43から送信/受信制御装置45を経由して、乗務員や駅務員が目視する表示装置6へ表示して通知する。

この実施例では、停止目標標識22付近を撮像するカメラ42及び複数のドア停止位置マーク31,32付近を撮像するカメラ41との総合判定で停止位置を検出する手順を説明したものであり、カメラが複数台となる。このため、あるカメラに誤検知が発生しても、正常に検知した他のカメラが多ければ、最終的に多数決等で判定するため、検出精度が向上し、信頼性の高い列車の定位置停止検出が実現できる効果がある。

図7は、映像不良チェック手段443の処理フローチャートである。映像不良チェック手段443は、まず、ステップ701においてカメラ4の起動時に取り込んだ画像をマスター画像とする。ステップ702に移りステップ701で取り込んだマスター画像をブロックに分割(例えば、縦×横=8×6)し、ブロック毎の分散値やエッジ画像を作成して格納する。ステップ703では、取り込んだ入力画像に対して、マスター画像と同様にブロックに分割し、ブロック毎の分散値やエッジ画像を作成して格納する。ステップ704では、ステップ703で処理した入力画像のブロック毎に分散値をチェックして、大部分のブロックが閾値未満の場合にステップ706に移行してカメラ4をマスクしてある状態等として、映像不良が発生したと判定する。ステップ704において大部分のブロックが閾値以上であると判定するとステップ705に移行する。ステップ705では、マスター画像と入力画像の同一ブロック間でブロック毎のエッジ画像を比較し、エッジが異なるブロックが所定数未満の場合にステップ707において映像不良の発生なしと判定する。ステップ708では、取り込んだ入力画像をマスター画像として更新する。ステップ705において、エッジの異なるブロックが所定数以上であると判定すると、ステップ709で映像不良が発生したと判定する。

このように、入力画像の良否を判定し不良の場合には位置検出手段の処理を阻止するようにしているので誤判定によって乗務員に停止位置異常と誤報して列車の運行に影響を与えるのを防止することができる。

図10は、図9における算出ステップ905による列車先頭部での停止位置検出を示す詳細図である。列車5の先頭部が、停止目標標識21の位置で停止すると、停止目標標識21の位置を監視領域としているカメラ42は、図4に示したように、停止目標標識21の位置と列車5の先頭51が一直線Aになるように設置されている。従って、列車の進行方向Y軸に対して、投影分布101は、列車5の先頭部51付近Y=Y1で変化が大きくなる。そこで、閾値X=X1以上の変化開始部座標X1,Y1を列車5の先頭51の位置の座標として算出する。

図12と図13は、図6におけるステップ606での多数のカメラに基く停止位置判定の詳細を説明するための駅ホーム平面視図と処理フローチャートである。列車5の停止位置を示す標識には、列車先頭の停止位置の標識として停止目標標識21、22、23や列車ドアの停止位置の標識としてドア停止位置マーク31、32、33、34が既設されている。例えば、停止目標標識21は4両編成用、22は8両編成用、23は12両編成用である。列車5が4両編成の場合、先頭は停止目標標識21の位置に停止する。すると、列車5のドアは、先頭に近い方からドア停止位置マーク34、33、32、31にそれぞれ位置する。図13のステップ131において、各位置でのカメラからの画像を処理し、予め登録した位置の停止範囲内であると判定した数をカウントする。すなわち、停止目標標識21の監視範囲のカメラ421に基づく判定結果と、ドア停止位置マーク33及び34の監視範囲のカメラ412に基づく判定結果、ならびにドア停止位置マーク31及び32の監視範囲のカメラ411に基く判定結果である。ステップ132において、判定全数に対する停止範囲内数の比率を算出する。ステップ133では、停止位置を正常と判定した割合が所定の閾値(例えば、6割)以上か否かをチェックする。ステップ133で閾値以上と判定した場合、ステップ134で、停止位置は正常と最終判定する。ステップ133の判定が閾値未満の場合、ステップ135で、停止位置は異常と最終判定する。

図20は、本発明の他の実施例による定位置停止検出手段444の検出処理手順を示す説明図である。この例では、共通カメラの画像を用いて、定位置停止検出機能と支障物検出機能を実行する。ステップ201は、図19の列車の停止開始(a)信号の取り込み有無をチェックする。ステップ201で信号を取り込むと、ステップ202では、支障物検出機能9用の基準画像を入力する。ステップ203では、定位置停止検出機能5用の画像を入力し、ステップ204で列車の定位置停止検出処理を行う。ステップ205では、ステップ204で検出処理をした結果をチェックして判定し、定位置に停止した場合はステップ208の処理へ進み、定位置に停止しない場合は、ステップ206へ進む。ステップ206では、定位置に停止しない列車情報や時刻、画像等のデータを格納するとともに、運転員にも報知する。ステップ207は、本装置による報知に基いて運転員が報知された画像データ等をモニタで見ながら列車を定位置に手動で移動することを示している。列車が定位置に停止すると、ステップ208では、安全柵ドアの開動作開始(h)信号を取込み、その後ステップが可動柵の閉動作開始(i)信号を取込む。ステップ209で、支障物検出機能9用の画像を入力するので、ステップ2010では、ステップ202の基準画像とステップ209の入力画像の比較・判定による支障物検出機能9が動作する。
