Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の光変調装置は、2−レベルデータ信号をデュオバイナリ信号に変換し出力する符号変換装置と;デュオバイナリ信号を受信して変調器駆動信号を生成する変調器駆動信号生成装置と;変調器駆動信号を入力し、光搬送波の位相を変化させ、光強度変調した変調光信号を出力するマッハ・ジェンダ干渉系型光強度変調器と;光強度変調器から変調光信号を入力し定められた帯域に合わせてフィルタリングしデュオバイナリ光信号を出力する広域通過フィルタとを備える。

Claims (8)
- 光搬送波を出力する光源と、2−レベルデータ信号に応じて前記光搬送波を変調した変調光信号を出力する光変調装置を備えてなるデュオバイナリ光伝送装置において、
光変調装置は、2−レベルデータ信号をデュオバイナリ信号に変換し出力する符号変換装置と;
デュオバイナリ信号を受信して変調器駆動信号を生成する変調器駆動信号生成装置と;
変調器駆動信号を入力し、光搬送波の位相を変化させ、光強度変調した変調光信号を出力する光強度変調器と;
光強度変調器からの変調光信号を入力し定められた帯域に合わせてフィルタリングしデュオバイナリ光信号を出力する広域通過フィルタとを備えたことを特徴とするデュオバイナリ光伝送装置。 - 前記光強度変調器は、Z−カット二重電極構造の光強度変調器である請求項1記載のデュオバイナリ光伝送装置。
- 前記光強度変調器は、X−カット単一電極構造の光強度変調器である請求項1記載のデュオバイナリ光伝送装置。
- 前記広域通過フィルタの帯域幅にしたがって出力信号の特性を異ならせる請求項1記載デュオバイナリ光伝送装置。
- 2−レベルデータ信号を符号化するデュオバイナリプリコーダと;
デュオバイナリプリコーダの出力信号を受信する1対の駆動増幅器と;
光搬送波を出力するレーザ光源と;
2−レベルデータ信号に応じて光搬送波を変調した変調光信号を出力する光強度変調器;及び、
光強度変調器から変調光信号を受信して定められた帯域に合わせてフィルタリングし、デュオバイナリ光信号を出力する広域通過フィルタとを備えたことを特徴とするデュオバイナリ光伝送装置。 - NRZ信号の印加電圧及び前記広域通過フィルタの帯域幅にしたがって出力信号の特性を異ならせる請求項5記載デュオバイナリ光伝送装置。
- 前記光強度変調器は、Z−カット二重電極構造の光強度変調器である請求項5記載のデュオバイナリ光伝送装置。
- 前記光強度変調器は、X−カット二重電極構造の光強度変調器である請求項5記載のデュオバイナリ光伝送装置。
