【課題を解決する為の手段】
本発明に係る携帯型通信端末機においては、ケースの内部に、画像撮影用のカメラと、該カメラによる画像撮影時に発光することとなる少なくとも1つの発光デバイスとが配備されると共に、前記ケースの表面には、前記カメラ及び発光デバイスをそれぞれ覆う複数の光透過性窓部が設けられている。
前記ケースは、前記発光デバイス及びカメラを覆って設置された化粧パネルを具えている。該化粧パネルは光透過性パネル本体を有して、該光透過性パネル本体の少なくとも片側に、前記複数の窓部を除く領域に拡がる遮光膜が形成されている。
又、前記化粧パネルには、光透過性パネル本体の少なくとも片面に密着して、前記複数の窓部を除く領域に拡がる光反射防止膜が形成されている。
具体的構成において、前記発光デバイスは、着信報知用の発光素子及び/又は画像表示用のディスプレイである。又、光反射防止膜は、例えば黒色又は灰色の塗料を用いた印刷によって形成することが出来る。

以下、本発明を折り畳み式携帯電話機に実施した形態につき、図面に沿って具体的に説明する。
本発明に係る折り畳み式携帯電話機は、図1及び図2に示す如く、本体(1)と蓋体(2)をヒンジ機構(10)によって互いに開閉可能に連結して構成される。本体(1)の内面には、複数の操作キー(11)が配備されると共に、送話部(12)が設けられている。又、蓋体(2)の内面には、メインディスプレイ(21)が設置される共に、受話部(22)が設けられている。

蓋体(2)は、図3及び図4に示す如く、下半ケース(3)と上半ケース(4)を具え、下半ケース(3)上には、着信時に発光する着信報知LED(31)と、画像撮影用のCCDカメラ(32)と、画像表示用のサブディスプレイ(33)とが、下半ケース(3)の中心線上に並べて配備されている。又、上半ケース(4)には、着信報知LED(31)、CCDカメラ(32)及びサブディスプレイ(33)を露出させるための3つの開口(41)(42)(43)が形成され、これら3つの開口(41)(42)(43)を覆って、化粧パネル(5)が設置されている。

ここで、図9の如く着信報知LED(31)やサブディスプレイ(33)から斜め方向に出射された光線は、前面遮光膜(8)にて反射された後、CCDカメラ(32)へ向かって進むが、これらの光線の大部分が光反射防止膜(6)へ入射して、光反射防止膜(6)での反射が防止されることになる。
従って、CCDカメラ(32)を用いた画像撮影時に、着信報知LED(31)やサブディスプレイ(33)からCCDカメラ(32)へ導かれる光の量は、図10に示す従来の携帯電話機の場合よりも大幅に減少する。

又、光反射防止膜(6)は、光透過性パネル本体(50)と背面遮光膜(7)との間に介在しているので、前面遮光膜(8)には、光反射防止膜(6)の材質や製法に拘わらず、蓋体(2)のケースと同色の色彩或いはその他の自由な色彩を採用して、意匠としての効果を発揮させることが出来る。

また本発明は、折り畳み式携帯電話機に限らず、カメラと種々の発光デバイスとを同一面上に並設した種々の携帯型通信端末機に実施することが可能である。
