Abstract
Description
【0001】

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Some spectacle lenses are coated with, for example, a substance for making the lens surface hard to be scratched or an ultraviolet absorbing substance. In addition, a lens whose surface is coated with a substance to which dirt hardly adheres has been developed and used as an antifouling lens. However, such an antifouling lens is coated with a water-repellent substance to which water or oil does not easily adhere, and has low wettability to the adhesive of the double-sided adhesive tape. For this reason, when the lens is ground, a deviation occurs between the lens and the holding jig, and the lens may not be accurately ground.
[0016]
Therefore, it is conceivable to increase the size of the double-sided adhesive tape to obtain a large holding force. However, when the size of the double-sided adhesive tape is increased, the mark imprinted on the surface of the lens is hidden, and there is a problem that the holding jig cannot be mounted at an accurate position. Further, the double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape has a certain thickness, and in the case of a lens having a large curvature, if the double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is large, it is difficult to bend and sometimes it is difficult to adhere to the lens surface. Therefore, there is a limit in increasing the size of the double-sided adhesive tape, and it is difficult to increase the holding force of the double-sided adhesive tape.
[0017]
Therefore, a main object of the present invention is to provide a lens processing that can securely fix a holding jig even when a lens is provided with a water-repellent coating and can grind a lens into an accurate shape. Is to provide a way.
[0018]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention provides a step of attaching a holding jig on one surface of a lens in accordance with a mark point attached to the lens, a step of attaching the holding jig attached to the lens to a jig receiver of a lens grinding machine, In a lens processing method including a step of fixing a lens with a jig receiver and a lens holder and a step of applying a grindstone to the fixed lens and grinding the lens into a predetermined shape, the wettability to the adhesive from the lens surface is reduced. A transparent adhesive sheet having a good surface and having an adhesive layer on the lens side is attached to the lens surface, and a holding jig is placed on the adhesive sheet attached to the lens via a double-sided adhesive tape. A lens processing method, wherein the adhesive sheet to be attached to the lens has a larger area than the double-sided adhesive tape.
In such a lens processing method, an adhesive sheet is further adhered on the other surface of the lens, and a lens holder is pressed onto the adhesive sheet via a double-sided adhesive tape to fix the lens. The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet adhered to the other surface of the lens may have an area larger than that of the double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape adhered thereon.
[0019]
By attaching an adhesive sheet larger than the double-sided adhesive tape to the lens surface, a large holding force can be obtained as a whole. Further, by using a material having better wettability with respect to the adhesive than the lens surface as a material of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet, a large holding force can be obtained even with a small double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape stuck on the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet. Here, by using an adhesive sheet formed of a thin material, the adhesive sheet is easily bent, and even if the curvature of the lens is large, the adhesive sheet can be adhered to a large area and a large holding force can be obtained. Furthermore, by using a transparent adhesive sheet, even if a large adhesive sheet is used, the holding jig can be attached in a state where the stamped point on the lens can be seen.
In addition, by adhering the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet and the double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape to both surfaces of the lens, both the holding jig and the lens holder are fixed on both surfaces of the lens, and a large holding force can be obtained. Therefore, when the lens is ground by the grindstone, the displacement of the lens can be prevented.
[0020]
The above and other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description of embodiments of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings.

According to the present invention, an adhesive sheet having a large area is adhered to the lens surface, and a holding jig is attached using a double-sided adhesive tape, whereby the lens is ground with sufficient holding power.
