本発明は、被検眼眼底を撮影する手持ち式の眼底カメラに関する。

【従来の技術】
被検眼眼底を撮影する眼底カメラにおいて、撮影ユニット部が手持ち式のものが知られている(特許文献1参照)。この種の眼底カメラは、被検者が横臥状態であるなど、据え置き型の眼底カメラでの撮影に適さない被検者に用いることができる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、手持ち式の眼底カメラにおいては、撮影画像の角度は撮影時の撮影ユニットの保持位置により決定されるため、据え置き型の眼底カメラで得られる通常の画像とは異なった回転角度のまま撮影される。例えば、被検者が横臥状態になっている際には被検者の横に立って撮影するが、この場合、立位の被検者と同じ状態の向きで撮影ユニットを安定して保持するのは困難であり、保持し易いように撮影すると、撮影画像が傾いた画像となる(図5参照)。これをそのまま記録保存すると、診断の際には眼底画像の回転方向を気にしなくてはならないので、観察がしづらく、煩わしいものとなる。また、このように傾いた画像を後で観察した場合、撮影画像が左眼か右眼かの区別もしづらい。

本発明は、上記従来技術の問題点に鑑み、被検眼に対する眼底カメラの保持状態を気にすること無く、所望する状態の撮影画像を容易に得ることができる眼底カメラを提供することを技術課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記課題を解決するため、以下に記載するような構成を備える事を特徴とする。
(1) 被検眼眼底を撮影する手持ち式の眼底カメラにおいて、撮影用の照明光により照明された眼底を撮影する撮影手段が配置された撮影光学系と、前記撮影手段を撮影光軸の軸回りに回転する回転手段と、を備えることを特徴とする。
(2) (1)の眼底カメラは、観察用の照明光により照明された眼底を観察するための撮像素子が配置された観察光学系と、前記撮像素子により撮像された観察画像を表示する表示手段と、前記撮影手段の回転に連動して前記撮像素子を観察光軸の軸回りに回転する回転連動手段と、を備えることを特徴とする。
(3) (1)又は(2)の眼底カメラにおいて、左右眼用の固視標を切換え呈示可能な固視標呈示光学系と、前記撮像手段の回転に連動して前記左右眼用の固視標を光軸回りに回転する固視標回転手段と、を備えることを特徴とする。

【実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施形態を図面に基づいて説明する。図1は本発明に係る眼底カメラの概略構成を示す図である。
実施形態の眼底カメラは、手持ち操作に適する筐体に観察や撮影のための光学系を収納した撮影ユニット部1、撮影ユニット部1を制御するとともに撮影用光源が配置されたコントロールユニット部2に大別構成されている。撮影ユニット部1の光学系が収納された本体部1aの下には、手で持つ部分となる把持部1bが設けられている。53はノブで、撮影ユニット1に配置されている観察用CCDカメラ及び撮影用CCDカメラ(後述する)を回転させるときに使用する。また、コントロールユニット部2にはタッチパネル機能が設けられたカラーのモニタ3が設けられている。コントロールユニット部2の撮影用フラッシュ光源からの照明光はファイババンドル4を介して撮影ユニット部1内の光学系に導光される。

図2は眼底カメラの光学系を示す図である。光学系は、観察照明光学系、撮影照明光学系、観察・撮影光学系、固視標呈示光学系からなる。
<観察照明光学系> 11は赤外発光ダイオード等の観察用照明光源である、12は拡散板、13はダイクロイックミラーであり、ダイクロイックミラー13は赤外光を反射するとともに、撮影用の可視光を透過する特性を持つ。14はコンデンサレンズ、15はスリット板であり、中心部にピンホール開口と光軸を中心としたリングスリット開口を備えている。16は投光レンズ、17はハーフミラーである。19は黒色吸収体であり、ハーフミラー17を透過した照明光束を吸収することにより、観察・撮影光学系に不要なノイズ光が入射することを防止する。18は被検眼を示す。

<撮影照明光学系> コントロールユニット部2には撮影用のフラッシュ光源31、コンデンサレンズ32が設けられており、撮影用の照明光束はファイババンドル4を介して撮影ユニット部1に導光される。撮影ユニット部1内の撮影照明光学系は、観察照明光学系のダイクロイックミラー13からハーフミラー17までの光路を共用する。

<観察・撮影光学系> 21は対物レンズ、22は被検眼18の瞳孔と共役になる位置に配置された撮影絞りである。23はフォーカシングレンズであり、被検眼の屈折力に合わせての調整を行うために、図示なきレンズ移動機構により光軸方向に移動可能である。24は結像レンズ、25はダイクロイックミラーである。ダイクロイックミラー25は赤外光及び可視光の一部を反射させ、可視光の大部分を透過させる特性を備える。26は撮影用のCCDカメラである。27は光路を延長するためのリレーレンズ、28はハーフミラー、29は観察用の撮像手段としての赤外CCDカメラである。

<固視標呈示光学系> ハーフミラー28の透過方向には、固視標としてのLED35が配置されている。固視標呈示光学系はハーフミラー28を介して、ダイクロイックミラー25から対物レンズ21までの光路を共用する。LED35は、レバー36の操作により、CCDカメラ29の撮像面(すなわち、被検眼眼底)と略共役な平面内で移動可能な構成とされている。検者は、レバー36を移動操作することにより、被検眼眼底を所望する撮影位置に誘導できる。

図3は観察用CCDカメラ29と撮影用CCDカメラ26の回転機構を説明する図である。回転シャフト50aに取り付けられた傘歯車51aと、回転シャフト50bに取り付けられた傘歯車51bとには、ノブ53の回転軸53aに取り付けられた傘歯車52が噛み合っている。ノブ53を回転すると、回転シャフト50aと回転シャフト50bは、互いに逆方向に回転する。回転シャフト50aにはプーリ54が取り付けられており、このプーリ54とCCDカメラ29に固定されたプーリ55との間にはタイミングベルト56が掛け渡されている。同様に、回転シャフト50bにはプーリ57が取り付けられており、このプーリ57とCCDカメラ26に固定されたプーリ58との間にはタイミングベルト59が掛け渡されている。このような機構により、ノブ53を回転すると、CCDカメラ26及びCCDカメラ29は連動して回転する。なお、CCDカメラ26及びCCDカメラ29は、それぞれ撮影光軸及び観察光軸の軸回りに同じ回転角度で回転するように、各プーリが取り付けられている。本実施形態では、ノブ53を手で回転操作するものであるが、モータにより電動で回転させる構成でも良い。

図4は本眼底カメラの制御系ブロック図を示す。41はモニタ3の表示を制御する表示制御部であり、CCDカメラ29及びCCDカメラ26の出力が入力され、モニタ3に表示する画像の切換機能も兼ねる。40はシステム制御部であり、表示制御部41、記憶部44、フラッシュランプ31、光源11、撮影スイッチ45、等が接続されている。

以上のような構成を持つ眼底カメラにおいて、以下にその動作を説明する。ここでは、図5のように、被検者はベッドに横臥状態になっており、検者は被検者の横に立って右眼を撮影するものとして説明する。この場合、被検者が立位のときと同じ向きで撮影ユニット部1を手で保持するのは難しいが、撮影ユニット部1の下側(把持部1bの取り付けられた側)を被検者の顔の側方に持ってくると、撮影ユニット部1を安定して保持できる。なお、コントロールユニット部2は、テーブル等に置いて、モニタ3を検者が観察し易い位置に設置しておく。

観察時には光源11を点灯する。光源11の点灯により赤外光により照明された被検眼は、CCDカメラ29により撮像される。その画像はモニタ3に表示される。最初は被検眼の前眼部像が映し出される。その画像を観察しながら、撮影ユニット部1の作動距離を調整するように近づけていくと、眼底像が映し出されるようになる。作動距離の調整後、被検眼の屈折力により眼底像がボケるときは、フォーカシングレンズ23を移動させ、眼底のピントが合うようにする。ピント合わせは、スプリット輝線などの周知のフォーカス指標を使用する構成でも良い。

図5におけるモニタ3上の眼底像80は、ピント合わせ終了後の観察像を示している。しかし、この画像は、撮影ユニット部1の被検眼に対する角度をそのまま反映しており、視神経乳頭81が黄斑82に対して上側(画像上の上側)に位置した状態となっている。これをそのままCCDカメラ26で撮影すると、据え置き型の眼底カメラでの撮影画像(右眼の場合は、視神経乳頭81が黄斑82の左側に来る画像)とは異なった角度となり、診断がしづらくなる。

そこで、ノブ53を操作し、観察用CCDカメラ29及び撮影用CCDカメラ26を連動させて回転させると、モニタ3に映し出される画像も回転する。検者は、モニタ3の画像を見ながら検者は所望する角度に眼底像を合わせる。据え置き型の眼底カメラのように、被検者が立位のときと同じ撮影状態にしたい場合は、図6にように、視神経乳頭81が黄斑82の左側に来る角度に合わせる。撮影の時点では撮影しようとしている眼が左右何れであるかは分かっているので、回転方向を取り違えることは少ない。観察像が所望の状態に調整できたら、撮影スイッチ45を押して静止画像を撮影する。なお、観察時には必要に応じてレバー36を操作することにより、固視標用のLED35を移動させて眼底を誘導し、撮影部位を所望のものとすることができる。

撮影スイッチ45を押すとフラッシュ光源31が発光し、被検眼眼底は可視光により照明される。眼底からの反射光は、対物レンズ21、撮影絞り22、フォーカシングレンズ23、結像レンズ24、ダイクロイックミラー25を経て、CCDカメラ26の撮像面に眼底像を結像する。CCDカメラ26はCCDカメラ29の回転に連動して同角度だけ回転しているので、観察像を同じ状態の眼底像が撮影される。CCDカメラ26で撮影された画像は、表示制御部41が持つメモリに取り込まれた後、モニタ3に映し出される。撮影画像を保存する場合は、図示なきスイッチ(モニタ3のタッチパネルのスイッチ)を押す。表示制御部41のメモリに一時的に記憶された画像は、記憶部44に送られて記憶される。こうして、傾きを補正した眼底画像が記憶部44に記憶されるので、後で再表示して詳細に診断する際にも、撮影時の撮影ユニット1の保持位置(回転角度)を気にすること無く、所望状態の撮影画像を観察できる。

図7は、左右眼用の固視標をCCDカメラ26及びCCDカメラ29と連動して回転する機構の構成例を示した図である。図3と同じ部材には、同符号を付している。37aは右眼用固視標としてLED、37bは左眼用固視標としてのLEDである。LED37a、37bは、固視標呈示光学系の光軸に対して左右対称であり、被検者の視線が被検者の体の中心側に向く様に、回転板38に取り付けられている。回転板38はノブ53の回転軸53aに取り付けられている。ノブ53を回転すると、LED37a、37bは、CCDカメラ26及びCCDカメラ29と連動して固視標呈示光学系の光軸回りに同角度で回転する。

撮影時には、撮影対象の被検眼の左右に応じて、モニタ3上のタッチパネルのスイッチにより左右眼を選択する。その選択信号により、LED37a、37bの点灯が切換えられる。右眼を選択するとLED37aが点灯する。前述と同様に、ノブ53を操作し、CCDカメラ29及びCCDカメラ26を連動させて回転させると、モニタ3に映し出される画像も回転する。同時に、LED37aも連動して光軸回りに回転し、被検眼の固視が誘導される。これにより、据え置き型の眼底カメラの撮影時と同じ状態の撮影画像を容易に得ることができる。

以上の実施形態では静止画像の撮影手段として電子撮影のCCDカメラを用いたが、フィルム撮影のカメラとすることもできる。また、CCDカメラ29及び26の回転は、観察・撮影光学系を全体的に回転する構成としても良い。

以上説明したように、本発明によれば、被検眼に対する眼底カメラの保持状態を気にすること無く、所望する状態の撮影画像を容易に得ることができる。
