本発明は、転写テープ上の塗膜を紙面等に転写するための塗膜転写具に関するものであり、詳しくは、塗膜転写具のハウジングの保持機構に関するものである。

塗膜転写具は転写テープ等内部部品が交換可能なものと、内蔵の転写テープを使い切り再使用しないものとがある。交換可能なものは、ハウジング内の転写テープのみを交換するもの、転写テープと駆動部の一部または全部を交換するもの等、交換する内部部品の組合せにより種々のものがある。交換方法は、内部部品それぞれを個別に交換する方法、内部部品がホルダー板などに着脱可能に保持され、内部部品の装着後ホルダー板を取り除く方法、内部部品が固定されたカートリッジを交換する方法等がある。内部部品が交換可能な塗膜転写具はいずれも、交換時に塗膜転写具のハウジングから内部部品あるいはカートリッジが分離可能な状態にならなくてはならず、ハウジングを複数に分離できること、あるいはカートリッジの出し入れの可能な開口部を有する必要がある。ハウジングを開閉可能とするために、ハウジングには解除可能な保持手段が設けられることが一般的である。保持手段は、ハウジングの保持位置と保持解除位置とを移動し、保持解除位置ではハウジングを保持せず、ハウジングが分離できるという仕組が一般的である。
