Abstract
Description
【0001】

【0026】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a linear motion device represented by a ball screw device that is a linear motion drive device, a linear guide device that is a linear motion guide device, and the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, in a linear motion device, grease using lubricating oil such as mineral oil or poly-α-olefin oil as a base oil, or these lubricating oils are sealed to prevent abrasion of the rolling elements and members in contact with the rolling elements. A linear motion device containing such a lubricant can be used without any problem under normal use conditions, but when driven at high temperature, vacuum, or high speed, the lubrication of the lubricant to the outside of the linear motion device can be performed. Gas is generated due to scattering and evaporation, which contaminates the external environment of the linear motion device. Therefore, for example, in equipment that requires an advanced clean environment, such as semiconductor manufacturing equipment, liquid crystal panel manufacturing equipment, and hard disk manufacturing equipment, or in equipment that is used under high temperature and vacuum, fluorine-based grease lubricates linear motion equipment. (For example, see
[0003]
This fluorinated grease uses liquid fluorinated polymer oil as a base oil and solid fluorinated polymer (fluororesin) as a thickener, has extremely low volatility, and has a very small amount of scattered outside a linear motion device ( Dust generation) is relatively small, so that contamination of the external environment is relatively unlikely to occur.

[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, fluorine-based grease, on the other hand, is poor in fluidity and inferior in lubricating performance as compared to grease using mineral oil or poly α-olefin oil as a base oil, so that rolling elements and members in contact with the rolling elements are easily worn. I have a problem. Such wear is a serious problem particularly in a linear motion device used for a positioning device such as a semiconductor manufacturing device because the positioning accuracy is reduced.
[0005]
In addition, abrasion powder is generated by the abrasion, and the abrasion powder is mixed into the grease to cause an increase in torque and seizure in a relatively short time. As a result, problems such as heat generation due to an increase in torque and overload on the motor occur.
[0006]
In recent years, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, liquid crystal panel manufacturing equipment, and hard disk manufacturing equipment have been operating at higher speeds in order to improve productivity, and linear motion devices incorporated therein have also been required to operate at higher speeds. Particle generation and increase in torque due to wear are more likely to occur than before.
[0007]
Furthermore, fluorine-based grease is expensive, and there is a problem that the entire linear motion device is expensive.
[0008]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and has as its object to provide a linear motion device that is inexpensive, has a small amount of dust generation, and has an excellent torque life.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a guide shaft having a ball rolling groove on an outer peripheral surface, and a ball forming a ball rolling space on an inner peripheral surface so as to face the ball rolling groove of the guide shaft. A movable body having a rolling groove, a number of balls rotatably accommodated in the ball rolling space, and a ball scooped up at one end of the ball rolling space and a ball at the other end of the ball rolling space. In a linear motion device comprising a ball circulation member having a ball circulation path to be moved, a perfluoropolyether as a base oil, a fluorine-based grease using polytetrafluoroethylene as a thickener, and grease other than a fluorine-based grease. A linear motion device characterized by enclosing a mixed grease composition.
[0010]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail.
[0011]
In the present invention, the configuration and structure of the linear motion device itself are not particularly limited, and for example, a ball screw device as shown in a partial cross-sectional view in FIG. 1 can be exemplified. The ball screw device shown in FIG. 1 has a
[0012]
The grease to be enclosed is a grease composition in which a fluorine-based grease and a grease other than the fluorine-based grease are mixed. Hereinafter, fluorine grease and grease other than fluorine grease will be described.
[0013]
[Fluorine grease]
As the fluorinated grease, any fluorinated grease containing perfluoropolyether as a base oil and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as a thickener can be used without particular limitation, and has been known in the art. Those can be appropriately selected and used.
[0014]
However, the perfluoropolyether has a kinematic viscosity of 20 to 40 ° C. to avoid generation of abnormal noise at low temperature startup due to lack of low temperature fluidity and seizure caused by difficulty in forming an oil film at high temperature. 400 mm 2 / s, particularly 30 to 200 mm 2 / s is preferred. The shape of polytetrafluoroethylene is not limited, and may be spherical, polyhedral (cubic or rectangular), or needle-like at the right end. These polytetrafluoroethylenes may be used alone or in combination of two or more. Preferably, the degree of miscibility is a grade specified by NLGI. It is blended so that it becomes 1-3.
[0015]
[Greases other than fluorine grease]
As greases other than fluorine greases, lubricating oils such as mineral oils and synthetic oils such as poly α-olefins as base oils, and greases to which metal complex soap-based or urea-based thickeners are added are particularly restricted. It can be used without.
[0016]
As the mineral oil-based lubricating oil, those obtained by appropriately combining mineral oil with vacuum distillation, removal of an oil agent, solvent extraction, hydrocracking, solvent dewaxing, washing with sulfuric acid, clay refining, hydrorefining, and the like can be used. Examples of the synthetic oil-based lubricating oil include a hydrocarbon-based oil, an aromatic-based oil, an ester-based oil, and an ether-based oil. Among them, examples of the hydrocarbon-based oil include normal paraffin, isoparaffin, polybutene, polyisobutylene, 1-decene oligomer, poly-α-olefin such as co-oligomer of 1-decene and ethylene, and hydrides thereof. No. Examples of the aromatic oil include alkylbenzenes such as monoalkylbenzene and dialkylbenzene, and alkylnaphthalenes such as monoalkylnaphthalene, dialkylnaphthalene, and polyalkylnaphthalene. Examples of the ester oils include dibutyl sebacate, di-2-ethylhexyl sebacate, dioctyl adipate, diisodecyl adipate, ditridecyl adipate, ditridecyl glutarate, diester oils such as methyl acetyl sinolate, and trioctyl trimellitate, Aromatic ester oils such as tridecyl trimellitate and tetraoctyl pyromellitate, and polyols such as trimethylolpropane caprylate, trimethylolpropaneperargonate, pentaerythritol-2-ethylhexanoate, and pentaerythritol belargonate Ester oils, and also complex ester oils, which are oligoesters of polyhydric alcohols and mixed fatty acids of dibasic acids / monobasic acids, and the like. Examples of the ether-based oil include polyglycols such as polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, polyethylene glycol monoether, and polypropylene glycol monoether, or monoalkyl triphenyl ether, alkyl diphenyl ether, dialkyl diphenyl ether, pentaphenyl ether, tetraphenyl ether, and monoalkyl And phenyl ether oils such as tetraphenyl ether and dialkyltetraphenyl ether.
[0017]
The base oil composed of the above lubricating oil has a kinematic viscosity at 40 ° C. of preferably 10 to 10 to avoid generation of abnormal noise at low temperature startup due to insufficient low temperature fluidity and seizure caused by difficulty in forming an oil film at high temperature. 400 mm 2 / s, more preferably it is desirable 20~250mm 2 / s, more preferably from 40~150mm 2 / sec.
[0018]
Examples of the metal complex soap-based thickener of the thickener include a metal complex soap selected from Li, Na, Ba, Ca, and the like, and a mixture thereof. Examples of the urea-based thickener include a diurea compound, a triurea compound, a tetraurea compound, a polyurea compound, and a mixture thereof. Among these metal complex soap-based and urea-based thickeners, it is preferable to use a urea-based thickener in consideration of heat resistance and acoustic properties.
[0019]
The lubricating oil and the thickener described above are preferably of a grade specified in NLGI with a penetration consistency of No. It is blended so that it becomes 1-3.
[0020]
(Method of preparing grease composition)
The grease composition used in the present invention is prepared by mixing the above-mentioned fluorine-based grease with a grease other than the fluorine-based grease. At this time, the mixing ratio of the fluorine-based grease and the grease other than the fluorine-based grease is preferably 20 to 80:80 to 20 in terms of a weight ratio. If the mixing ratio of the grease other than the fluorine-based grease is less than 20% by mass, the ratio of the fluorine-based grease having relatively poor fluidity is large, and it is not possible to sufficiently reduce the cost and reduce the torque. The lubricity also becomes poor. On the other hand, if the mixing ratio of the grease other than the fluorine-based grease exceeds 80% by mass, the volatility of the grease composition increases, and the amount of dust increases.
[0021]
The mixing method of the fluorine-based grease and the grease other than the fluorine-based grease is not particularly limited, and a known mixing means such as a kneader or a roll mill can be used. Heating during mixing is also effective.
[0022]
Also, the prepared grease composition has a mixing consistency of No. 1 according to the grade specified in NLGI. It is preferably from 1 to 3.
[0023]
〔Additive〕
Additives may be added to the grease composition used in the present invention as needed to further enhance the performance. For example, gelling agents such as metal soap, benton, silica gel, etc .; antioxidants, such as amine type, phenol type, sulfur type, zinc dithiophosphate; poles, such as chlorine type, sulfur type, phosphorus type, zinc dithiophosphate, organic molybdenum, etc. Oil agents such as fatty acids and animal and vegetable oils; Rust inhibitors such as petroleum sulfonates, dinonylnaphthalenesulfonates, sorbitan esters; Metal deactivators such as benzotriazole and sodium nitrite; polymethacrylate, polyisobutylene, polystyrene And the like, and these can be added alone or in combination of two or more. At this time, the amount of the additive is not particularly limited as long as the desired object of the present invention can be achieved, but the additive can be usually contained in the grease composition in an amount of 20% by mass or less.
[0024]
In addition, when adding an additive, it is preferable to mix | blend a predetermined amount at the time of preparing greases other than a fluorine grease. In addition, it is necessary to mix the additives by a well-known mixing means such as a kneader, a roll mill or the like, and then sufficiently stir the additives to disperse the additives uniformly. At this time, heating is also effective.
[0025]
