BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a front cross-sectional view showing a state in which a cover sheet covering at least a part of the window glass of the vehicle window glass protection device according to the embodiment of the present invention is expanded, and FIG. It is a front view which shows the approximate half of the whole. As shown in FIG. 2, the windshield protection device 1 for a vehicle has a cover sheet 2 which becomes substantially square when it is spread, and a cover is provided at a diagonal position on the back side of the cover sheet 2 facing the window glass and at an intermediate position therebetween. A plurality of resilient first arm members 3 each having a substantially rod shape extending radially around the center of the seat 2 are attached. In FIG. 1, the length of the first arm member 3 is shorter at the intermediate position than at the diagonal position. A center side end of the first arm member 3 has a plate-shaped portion 3 a, a through hole 3 b is formed in the plate-shaped portion 3 a, and a cylindrical first mounting member located at the center of the cover sheet 2. The plate-like portions 3a of the first arm member 3 are inserted into the same number of radial grooves 4a as the number of the first arm members 3 formed on the outer peripheral portion on the distal end side of 4, and a plurality of wires are passed through the through holes 3b. The center-side end of the first arm member 3 is rotatably attached to the first attachment member 4.
[0007]
Further, a through hole 3c is formed in an intermediate portion of the first arm member 3, and one end of a rod-shaped second arm member 6 is rotatably attached to the through hole 3c by a pin 5. A cylindrical second mounting member 7 is disposed in the axial hole of the cylindrical first mounting member 4 so as to be movable in the axial direction. The second mounting member 7 is composed of a small-diameter portion 7a having a bottomed cylindrical shape movably inserted into a shaft hole of the first mounting member 4 and a large-diameter portion 7c having a plurality of radial grooves 7b formed on the outer periphery. The plate-like portion 6a formed at the center end of the second arm member 6 is inserted into the radial groove 7b, and a plurality of wires are passed through through holes 6b formed in the plate-like portion 6a. The center end of the second arm member 6 is rotatably attached to the second attachment member 7. As described above, since the window glass protection device 1 for an automobile has an umbrella-like structure, the second arm member 7 is attached to the first arm member 3 by moving the second member 7 relative to the first member 4. The cover sheet 2 can be opened and closed like an umbrella. The cover sheet 2 and the first arm member 3 constitute a cover sheet member of the present invention.
[0008]
The small-diameter portion 7a of the second mounting member 7 has a tapered portion formed on the front end side of the cover sheet 2 protruding to the front side, and an operation cord 8 for opening the vehicle window glass protection device 1 at the front end portion. Installed. A slit 7d is formed on the side surface of the small diameter portion 7a so as to be connected to the shaft hole. A leaf spring 9 bent in a U-shape is arranged in the shaft hole, and a radial bent portion 9a on one end side of the slit 7d forms the slit 7d. It projects through the small-diameter portion 7a in the radial direction. Accordingly, when the window glass protection device 1 for an automobile is opened, the bent portion 9a in the radial direction of the leaf spring 9 is engaged with the end face on the distal end side of the first mounting member 4 to maintain the open state.
[0009]
An elastic suction cup 11 for fixing the vehicle window glass protection device 1 to the window glass is attached to the tip of the large diameter portion 7c of the second mounting member 7 with a pin 10 and the vehicle window glass protection device 1 is opened. By pressing the suction cup 11 against the window glass of the vehicle in this state, the vehicle window glass protection device 1 can be fixed to the window glass. Further, a removal cord 12 is attached to an outer peripheral portion of the window glass suction portion of the suction cup 11, and a distal end thereof is drawn out of the cover sheet 2 through an outer peripheral shaft hole of the first attaching member 4. A vacuum releasing means for releasing the vacuum generated between the suction cup 11 and the window glass from the state in which the suction cup 11 is pressed and fixed to the window glass by the removal cord 12 and detaching the suction cup 11 from the window glass constitutes an automobile. The suction cup 11 can be removed from the window glass by pulling the removal cord 12 from the state where the window glass protection device 1 is attached to the window glass.
[0010]
The cover sheet 2 is made of a synthetic fiber cloth or a soft vinyl sheet subjected to a water-repellent treatment, and an elastic thick portion 2a (elastic sheet member) made of an elastic synthetic resin or rubber is provided on an outer peripheral portion thereof. The distal end of the first arm member 3 is fixed to the elastic thick part 2a. When the vehicle windshield protection device 1 is fixed to the window glass in an open state, the elastic thick portion 2a around the cover sheet 2 is pressed against the window glass by the elastic force of the first arm member 3. ing. Therefore, the length from the through hole 3b of the first arm member 3 at the intermediate position, which is shorter than the first arm member 3 at the diagonal position, to the connection position of the second arm member 6 is set to the length of the first arm member 3 at the diagonal position. The length is longer than the length, so that the pressing force of the first arm member 3 against the window glass by the elastic thick portion 2a when fixing to the window glass is uniform.
[0011]
FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view showing a state in which the vehicle window glass protection device 1 according to the first embodiment is folded and stored in the storage container 13. The storage container 13 includes a storage tube 13a and a lid 13b thereof, and is inserted into the storage tube 13a from the first mounting member 4 side in a state where the vehicle window glass protection device 1 is folded, and the lid 13b is inserted into the storage tube 13a. I'm wearing it. If the storage tube 13a can be fixed to a seat or the like in the vehicle, the lid 13b is not necessarily required.
When the vehicle window glass protection device 1 is used in such a state, when the window glass protection device 1 is taken out of the storage container 13 and the operation cord 8 is pulled, the second attachment member 7 is inserted into the shaft hole of the first attachment member 4. The first arm member 3 is opened by the second arm member 6 and the cover sheet 2 is opened. When the leaf spring 9 of the second mounting member 7 passes through the shaft hole of the first mounting member 4, it opens in the radial direction and engages with the end face of the tip of the first mounting member 4 to be held in the open state. In this state, by holding the second mounting member 7 and pressing the suction cup 11 against the window glass, the suction cup 11 is attracted to the window glass, and the vehicle window glass protection device 1 is fixed.
In this manner, since the operation cord 8 is simply pulled to unfold the cover sheet 2 and press the suction cup 11, attachment to the window glass can be easily performed. In this mounting state, the elastic thick portion 2a around the cover sheet 2 is pressed against the window glass by the elastic force of the first arm member 3, so that wind blows into the space between the cover sheet 2 and the window glass. On the contrary, since the cover sheet 2 is pressed against the window glass by the wind, the windshield protection device 1 for an automobile does not come off the window glass by the wind or the like. Further, it is possible to prevent snow and rain from entering the cover sheet 2.
[0012]
Next, in the case of detaching from the attached state and storing, when the detaching cord 12 protruding outside is pulled, a part of the outer periphery of the suction portion of the suction cup 11 is peeled off from the window glass. Then, the window glass protection device 1 for an automobile comes off the window glass. Next, when the engagement with the first attachment member 4 is released by pressing the leaf spring 9, the first arm member 3 and the cover sheet 2 can be folded, and are stored in the storage container 13 in the folded state. In this way, it can be easily removed, folded and stored.
[0013]
FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a state of being stored in a storage container in a folded state according to the second embodiment.
