病院で用いる医療用器具等の被滅菌物を高圧下にて高温蒸気により滅菌処理を行う高圧蒸気滅菌器で、特に被滅菌物を収納して滅菌処理を行うチャンバー内の底に、蒸気発生用のヒータを配設したり、上記チャンバーの外周囲に乾燥用のヒータを装着したものでは、例えば特許文献1に示される様に、滅菌処理が終了すると、開閉弁6を開いて給気管9よりチャンバー1内に温風空気を供給し、チャンバー内の被滅菌物を乾燥する様に構成しているが、滅菌処理が終了後、開閉弁11を開いて排水処理を行っている間にチャンバー内の圧力や温度が急激に低下して熱損失が発生し、乾燥効率が低下するという問題がある。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施例を先ず図1に基づき説明すると、1は滅菌器本体の外ケースで、前面を開口2し、内部に医療用器具等の被滅菌物3・・を収納して滅菌処理等を行う円筒状のチャンバー4を収納配置している。

5は上記チャンバー4内の底部に配設したシーズヒータ等にて構成した滅菌ヒータで、上方をヒータカバー6により被覆し、このヒータカバーの上に上記被滅菌物3・・を載置する様に構成し、かつ上記ヒータカバー6の前端部と上記開口2を開閉自在に閉塞する蓋7の内面との間に通風用の間隙8を設けている。

9は、終端を上記チャンバー4内の底部に連通した供給管で、始端をコンプレッサー10に接続した空気供給流路11と、始端を貯水タンク12の水中に開口した注水流路13とを接続し、上記空気供給流路11には、その上流側より不織布等を用いたフィルター14、逆止弁15、第1電磁弁16を順次接続し、上記注水流路13の途中には第2電磁弁17を接続していると共に、その始端部にはコイル状の第1熱交換器18を設けている。

24は、上記外ケース1内の適所に配置した制御手段で、図示しないマイクロコンピュータを中心に構成し、上記温度センサー22の検出温度、並びに予め設定されたプログラムに従って上記滅菌ヒータ5、コンプレッサー10、第1電磁弁16、第2電磁弁17、第3電磁弁20、乾燥ヒータ23等への通電を制御したり、図示しない表示器や操作部に配置したランプ等の点滅制御を行うものである。

而して、滅菌操作に際しては、蓋7を開いて開口2よりチャンバー4内に被滅菌物3・・をセットして蓋7を閉じた後、図示しない滅菌及び乾燥用のタイマーをセットして運転を開始すると、図3のタイムチャートにも示す様に、先ず第2、第3電磁弁17,20を開いてチャンバー4内に所定水位(ヒータカバー6より下方)迄注水した後第2電磁弁17のみ閉じ、その後、滅菌ヒータ5に通電して上記チャンバー4内に注水した水を加熱して蒸気を発生させ、発生した蒸気にてチャンバー4内の空気を排気流路19より外部に排出する。

次いで、例えば滅菌ヒータ5への通電開始から所定時間経過すると、第3電磁弁20を閉じてチャンバー4内を所定温度(実施例では121℃)に維持する様に滅菌ヒータ5への通電を制御し、これにより被滅菌物3・・の滅菌処理を行う滅菌工程を行う。

そして、滅菌タイマーにより所定時間滅菌処理を行い、これが終了する所定時間前(例えば3分)に乾燥ヒータ23に通電してチャンバー4の予熱を開始した後、滅菌ヒータ5への通電を停止して滅菌工程を終了し、次いで、第2電磁弁17を開いてチャンバー4内に残った水を排水した後、第2電磁弁17を閉じて第3電磁弁20を開いて排気処理を行う。

尚、上記乾燥処理を行う乾燥工程時には、温度センサー22によりチャンバー4内の温度を検出し、例えば110℃前後になる様に滅菌ヒータ5と乾燥ヒータ23への通電を制御する。

一方、上記乾燥処理が終了すると、第1電磁弁16を閉じると共にコンプレッサー10を停止して全ての処理を終了する。

上記実施例では、滅菌処理が終了する例えば3分前に乾燥ヒータ23への通電を開始しているが、これに限定されるものではなく、実験によれば、滅菌温度が例えば132℃の場合には1分前前後に乾燥ヒータ23に通電することで、被滅菌物3・・の過熱による変色等を防止出来るもので、滅菌温度や滅菌処理時間に応じて乾燥ヒータ23に通電するタイミングを設定することで、より効率的に乾燥を行う事が出来るものである。

上記構成により、滅菌処理が終了する所定時間前に乾燥ヒータに通電してチャンバー4を加熱する様に構成したことで、滅菌処理後の排気処理時におけるチャンバー4並びに被滅菌物3・・の温度低下による乾燥不良を防止し、より短時間にて効率的に乾燥処理を行う事が出来るものである。

本発明の構成により、滅菌処理が終了する所定時間前に乾燥ヒータに通電する様に構成したことで、滅菌処理終了後の排気工程におけるチャンバー並び被滅菌物の温度低下による乾燥不良を防止し、効率的な乾燥を行う事が出来るものである。
