【0024】
励磁電流指令決定器32は,励磁区間において巻線14に流される励磁電流の指令値iC(以下,単に,「励磁区間電流指令値iC」という。)

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a switched reluctance motor. The present invention particularly relates to a technique for realizing high efficiency of a switched reluctance motor.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As one of the motors, a switched reluctance motor (SRM) that drives a rotor by reluctance torque is known. The rotor of the switched reluctance motor is formed of a magnetic material such as iron for generating reluctance torque. However, the rotor of the switched reluctance motor does not require a winding or permanent magnet for the field. As described above, the switched reluctance motor has a feature that the structure is simple and robust.
[0003]
In order to improve the performance of the switched reluctance motor, it is important to determine the excitation interval for exciting the stator winding. Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication (Kokai) No. 7-337061 discloses a switch reluctance for setting an excitation angle that determines an excitation interval based on at least one of a motor rotation speed and a current command value, and supplying an excitation current to a winding in the excitation interval. A control method of a motor is disclosed. In the control method disclosed in the publication, the reduction of the generated torque is reduced by performing the phase advance compensation for advancing the phase of the excitation section as the rotation speed of the motor increases and the current command value increases.
[0004]
It is desired that the efficiency of the switched reluctance motor be further improved.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to provide a technology for further increasing the efficiency of a switched reluctance motor.
