Abstract
Description
【0001】
適応フィルタ14は、LMS(Least Mean Square )アルゴリズムやN−LMS(Normalized−LMS)アルゴリズムによる係数更新器15および音声補正用のFIR(Finite Impulse Response:有限長インパルス応答))フィルタ16を含んでいる。
【0008】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a reverberation level control device, and more particularly, to a reverberation level control device that is suitable for use in a device for changing and adjusting a power level of reverberation, which is an important element in acoustic characteristics.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, when sound is emitted inside a theater, a hall, a room, a vehicle, or the like (hereinafter, referred to as a room), reverberation occurs. The reverberation referred to here is a phenomenon in which sound emitted from a sound source in a target acoustic system (in a room sound field) is reflected by a wall, ceiling, or the like in the room, and becomes a resonating sound. The effect of the reverberation is completely represented by an acoustic transfer characteristic representing a state in which sound is transmitted between a sound source in a room and a listening position.
[0003]
Conventionally, various devices for controlling the reverberation have been provided. For example, a reverberation adding device that simulates the reverberation characteristics of a concert hall, a stadium, or the like, and adds a reverberation sound so that a realistic sound field can be created without actually being in a hall or the like is provided. Have been. Also, there has been provided a reverberation removing device that removes reverberation sound so that the intelligibility of a speaker's voice emitted in a conference room or in a car is not reduced by reverberation. Further, a reverberation time control device for controlling the reverberation time in accordance with a target acoustic system has also been provided.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the above-described conventional technique can only add a predetermined reverberation to a direct sound emitted from a sound source, remove reverberation from a reverberant sound, or adjust a reverberation time of a reverberant sound. Thus, the level of the reverberant sound in the acoustic system could not be freely adjusted.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to enable a user to freely adjust the level of reverberant sound in an acoustic system.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problems, the reverberation level control device of the present invention obtains the power levels of the near-reflected sound and the reverberant sound for the reverberation transfer characteristics of the impulse response in the acoustic system. Are individually variably controlled. Then, the reverberation transfer characteristic after the level control is set as the target transfer characteristic of the adaptive filter, and the adaptive filter processing is performed on the input audio signal. According to the present invention thus configured, the power level of the reverberation characteristic in the acoustic system can be arbitrarily operated by the user for each of the near reflection sound and the reverberation sound.
[0006]

The close reflection sound is a sound in a region where the reflection returns relatively quickly with respect to the direct sound, and cannot be distinguished from the direct sound by a human. In general, reverberation sounds may have a desirable effect, such as increasing the reverberation of the sound and enriching the timbre, but proximity reflection sound has a bad effect of muddying the timbre. With such a configuration, the adaptive filter 22 operates such that the difference between the target reverberation transfer characteristic after power level adjustment and the reverberation transfer characteristic of the target acoustic system C is reduced. As a result, the transfer characteristic set for the acoustic system C becomes substantially equal to the target reverberation transfer characteristic set for the adjusted transfer
[0026]
As described in detail above, according to the present embodiment, the reverberation characteristic of the impulse response, which is the result of the user arbitrarily operating the power level based on the reverberation characteristic of the actual acoustic system C, is set as the target characteristic of the adaptive filter. Since the setting is made and the input sound is equalized according to the target characteristics, the user can arbitrarily operate the reverberation characteristics in the acoustic system including the room with respect to the powers of the near reflection sound and the reverberation sound. become.
[0027]
Note that the above-described embodiment is merely an example of a concrete example for carrying out the present invention, and the technical scope of the present invention should not be interpreted in a limited manner. That is, the present invention can be embodied in various forms without departing from the spirit or main features thereof.
[0028]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, based on the reverberation transfer characteristics of the impulse response in the actual acoustic system, the user operates the power levels of the close reflection sound and the reverberation sound, respectively, and aims at the reverberation transfer characteristics after the level control. Since the adaptive filter processing is performed on the input voice by setting the transfer characteristics, the reverberation characteristics in the acoustic system can be arbitrarily adjusted so that the user prefers each of the close reflection sound and the reverberation sound.
