Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a very epoch-making ruler for cutting which is very easy to handl, in which workability is remarkably enhanced, and moreover, which can be realized with a simple structure, can be inexpensively manufactured, and is excellent in mass productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The ruler for cutting is clamp-fixed to a member (A) to be cut. The ruler body 1 is fixed on the material (A) to be cut and it is made as a cutting guide. Also, the ruler for cutting is so constituted that a locking part 2 to be hung and locked at one end part of the material (A) to be cut and a clamp-locking part 3 freely slidable in a direction separating against the locking part 2 are provided to the ruler body 1. 本発明は、板材等の被切断材を電動鋸等の切断具によって切断する際に用いられる切断用定規に関するものである。

【従来の技術及び発明が解決しようとする課題】
一般に電動鋸を用いて板材等の被切断材を切断する際には、切断ガイドとしてこの板材等の被切断材上に固定して電動鋸を当接摺動させる切断用定規が用いられる。

この従来の切断用定規は、一端部に前記被切断材の一端部と当接係止する係止部を設け、他端部にこの係止部に対して切離する方向にスライド移動自在とすることで前記被切断材の幅に応じて広狭するスライド係止部を設けたものであり、このスライド係止部には、このスライド係止部のスライド移動を係止固定・解除するスライド固定機構を設け、前記係止部には、この係止部を前記被切断材の他端部に圧接して前記スライド係止部とにより定規本体をクランプ固定・解除するクランプ固定機構を設けたものである。

一般に、スライド固定機構は、スライド係止部に設けられた固定用ネジ等でスライド係止部を定規本体に係止固定するものであり、クランプ固定機構は、螺動操作により所定方向に微動するボルト体等で前記係止部を前記被切断材に圧接することで定規本体をクランプ固定するものである。

しかし、この従来の切断用定規は、上述したように被切断材上への固定作業の際、係止部及びスライド係止部の夫々が両端に設けられているため、この被切断材の幅が広い場合には、この被切断材の両端に回ってスライド固定機構及びクランプ固定機構を夫々作動させる必要があり、効率的な作業の妨げとなることは避けられない。

本発明は、鋭意研究の結果、上述の問題点を解決して実現したもので、スライド固定機構及びクランプ固定機構を一端にまとめて設け、一端側でスライド調整可能とすると共にクランプ固定できるように構成し、しかも、一の回動操作部の回動操作で双方が作動するように構成し、同じ側でスライド移動及びクランプ固定を行うことができるようにして、極めて扱いやすく作業性が飛躍的に向上し、しかも、簡易な構造で実現できコスト安に製作可能で量産性にも秀れた極めて画期的な切断用定規を提供するものである。
