Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a wastewater treatment device that treats exhaust gas.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, NOx, SOx, CO 2 Contains harmful substances such as harmful substances and substances that load the environment. In particular, marine diesel engines that use low-quality fuel have a large amount of harmful substances. Therefore, the exhaust gas is generally not discharged as it is, but is discharged after the content of harmful substances is reduced by some processing apparatus.
[0003]
The scrubber for gas cleaning is an exhaust gas treatment device that greatly reduces dust and SOx in exhaust gas by passing the exhaust gas through seawater. In the case of ships, seawater is used in many cases, but in some cases fresh water is used. Then, the scrubber for gas cleaning contacts and mixes the pumped sea water and the like with the exhaust gas during the exhaust gas treatment. As a result, dust and SOx in the exhaust gas are taken into seawater and the like, so that harmful substances in the exhaust gas are significantly reduced.
[0004]
However, seawater etc. after the treatment is drained directly to the sea as it is, but because such wastewater contains soot, sulfuric acid, oil, etc., such contaminated wastewater is directly discharged to the sea. There is a need for a technology to treat and reduce harmful substances in wastewater so that there is no such problem. There is a need for engines and ships that apply that technology. In the future, strict environmental regulations are expected not only when navigating in bays and inland seas, where the concentration of ships and the accumulation of marine pollutants are likely to occur and direct drainage is likely to occur, but also on the high seas. Is required. Such technology is also applicable to stationary engines and boiler exhaust gas treatment devices.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of a wastewater treatment device that is a treatment device for wastewater after treating exhaust gas according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the present embodiment, a wastewater treatment apparatus used in a gas scrubber for treating exhaust gas from a ship engine with seawater or the like will be described as an example. Exhaust gas from a stationary engine or a boiler is treated with water (in this case, Is not seawater), and is also applicable to a scrubber for gas cleaning which is treated with seawater.

The centrifugal force F is F = mrω 2 (Where m: mass or specific gravity, r: radius, ω: angular velocity). That is, at the same radius r and angular velocity ω, the magnitude of the centrifugal force received differs due to the difference in specific gravity, so that substances having different magnitudes in specific gravity can be separated from each other.
The centrifugal separator of this embodiment is used for separating soot and dust contained in seawater subjected to exhaust gas treatment from other seawater. The specific gravity of soot is about 2 g / cm 3 , The specific gravity of seawater is about 1.0g / cm 3 It is. That is, since the specific gravities are almost twice different, it is possible to easily separate them. The removed soot is removed from the

As the dust separation section, in addition to the method using the centrifugal separation as in the above-described centrifugal separation section, it is possible to separate the dust by filtering seawater containing the dust with a filter.

By using the two oil removing units (23-1 and 23-2) as described above, even if the oil adsorption mat is replaced, the seawater can be treated without interruption. When the amount of seawater treatment is very large, two units can be used at the same time. Further, the same effect can be obtained by using three or more devices. The same applies to the centrifugal separation unit 22 (or the dust separation unit) and the neutralization unit 24 (however, in this embodiment, only one unit is illustrated).

At this time, the seawater is neutralized by passing the above seawater through a caustic soda (NaOH) solution in a neutralization device. At that time, the NaOH solution mainly reacts as follows, and the harmless Na 2 SO 4 Generate

Further, since the seawater is neutralized and contains almost no dust and oil, it can be discharged into the sea.

Since the above seawater has been removed from dust, oil, SOx and the like, it can be recycled (hereinafter referred to as “recycled seawater”) and used again as a cleaning solution for the
[0059]
On the other hand, recycled seawater and fresh seawater can be mixed and used as a scrubber cleaning gas for gas cleaning. In this case, the wastewater from the gas scrubber is partially discharged into the environment. However, since the wastewater is sufficiently cleaned and made harmless as described above, the load on the environment is very small.

When the oil absorption mat has sufficiently absorbed the oil, the oil absorption mat is replaced. At the time of replacement, it is possible to continue the oil removal process using the other oil removal device 23-2 (or 23-1). The oil adsorption state of the oil adsorption mat is monitored visually or by a pressure difference between the inlet side and the outlet side of the mat.
[0075]
The seawater treated by the oil removing device 23-1 (or 23-2) is sent to the
This operation makes it possible to neutralize the sulfuric acid content in the seawater obtained by treating the exhaust gas and to neutralize the entire seawater.
[0076]
As a method of mixing the seawater and the caustic soda solution, the caustic soda solution is mixed into the seawater while monitoring the pH of the seawater so that the pH becomes neutral in the
[0077]
The temperature of the seawater is lowered by the cooler 25, and the seawater is again used as a cleaning liquid for the gas cleaning scrubber (recycled seawater), or is discharged into the seawater. In the case of using the recycled seawater, the wastewater treatment valve 14-1 is opened, and the seawater flows through the pipe B18-3. When draining into seawater, the wastewater treatment valve 14-2 is opened and the seawater flows into the
[0078]
Since the seawater has been removed from soot, oil, sulfuric acid, and the like, it does not contaminate other devices, and can absorb soot, oil, SOx, and the like again. Therefore, it can be reused as recycled seawater as a cleaning solution for a gas cleaning scrubber. In this case, it is possible to use the wastewater obtained by mixing the recycled seawater and the new seawater as the cleaning solution for the scrubber for gas cleaning, or to provide a closed system using only the recycled seawater. As a result, the amount of fresh seawater used is reduced, and the amount of discharged seawater can be reduced or eliminated. Furthermore, if the whole amount can be made in time with recycled seawater, the system is closed, so that the wastewater from the scrubber for gas cleaning is not discharged into the environment, and it can be said that the system has a remarkably small load on the environment.
[0079]
By the above operation, it is possible to remove harmful substances such as soot, oil and SOx contained in the exhaust gas of the diesel engine of the ship by seawater. Then, it becomes possible to remove soot, oil, sulfuric acid, and the like contained in seawater used for removing soot, oil, SOx, and the like. Then, the used seawater can be recycled or discharged to the outside (in the sea) in a form in which the load on the environment is significantly reduced.
[0080]
Further, the engine illustrated in FIG. 1 having the wastewater treatment apparatus of the present invention significantly reduces the amount of harmful substances discharged into the sea. That is, it is an engine that can sail without polluting the sea and has a low environmental load.
[0081]
In this embodiment, an engine employing an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system as shown in FIG. 1 has been described. However, the present invention can be applied to a ship that does not perform exhaust gas recirculation. is there.
[0082]
This will be described with reference to FIG. The example in FIG. 3 uses engine exhaust gas for an inert gas system of an oil tanker.
The configuration of FIG. 3 is basically the same as that of FIG. However, in this case, there is no configuration for exhaust gas recirculation (

[0085]
The ship having the configuration illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 3 according to the present invention significantly reduces the emission of harmful substances such as oil, soot, and SOx contained in exhaust gas. Therefore, even when navigating in the bay or inland sea, the ship does not cause a cause of marine pollution and has almost no adverse effect on the environment.
[0086]
Although the present invention has been described with respect to an engine in a ship, the present invention is also applicable to a stationary facility (an engine or a boiler having a facility for generating exhaust gas). In that case, industrial water is used instead of seawater, and the scrubber for gas cleaning is used. In addition, the industrial water used there is recycled as much as possible.
[0087]

ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION By this invention, it becomes possible to process wastewater from the scrubber for gas washing which wash | cleans exhaust gas and reduces harmful substances appropriately, reduces harmful substances, and can recycle as needed.
