[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In recent years, a charge control device for a secondary battery has also been required to have higher withstand voltage and improved withstand voltage for reverse connection withstand voltage. For example, a withstand voltage of ± 25 V or more is required.
[0017]
However, in the conventional
[0018]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a charge control device for a secondary battery, which can improve the resistance without increasing the number of parts.
[0019]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the present invention, in order to control charging of the secondary battery (30), the charging current (Ic) interposed between the AC adapter (20) and the secondary battery and flowing from the AC adapter to the secondary battery is controlled. In a secondary battery charge control device (50A, 50B) controlled by turning on / off a charge control switch, a pair of field-effect transistors (FET1, FET2; FET'1, FET1) connected in series with opposite polarities as charge control switches. Thus, a charge control device for a secondary battery using the FET'2) is obtained.
[0020]
In the charging control device for a secondary battery, each of the pair of field effect transistors is a p-channel field effect transistor (FET1, FET1) connected between the anode (21) of the AC adapter and the anode (31) of the secondary battery. FET2). In this case, a charging current sense resistor (R1) is connected between the charging control switch and the anode (31) of the secondary battery. Each of the pair of field effect transistors includes an n-channel field effect transistor (FET'1, FET'2) connected between the cathode (22) of the AC adapter and the cathode (32) of the secondary battery. Good to be. In this case, a charging current sense resistor (R1) is connected between the charging control switch and the cathode (32) of the secondary battery. The secondary battery may be, for example, a lithium ion battery.
