Description

【0001】
L*がL*a*b*表色系におけるCIE1976明度の値であり、a*,b*がL*a*b*表色系における色座標の値であるとき、色差ΔE*abが、
ΔE*ab=(Δa*+Δb*+ΔL*1/2
ΔE*ab≦15

尚、表中のL*はJIS Z 8729に規定されたL*a*b*表色系におけるCIE1976明度の値であり、a*,b*はJIS Z 8729に規定されたL*a*b*表色系における色座標の値である。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a battery pack and relates to a battery pack having particularly excellent design properties.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As represented by mobile phones, there is a need for further reduction in weight, size, and thickness of portable electronic devices, as well as batteries built in them.
Here, a conventional general battery pack built in a small electronic device will be described first. FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing a disassembled conventional battery pack. The battery pack mainly includes a battery main body 11 for storing a power storage element, a protection circuit 14 for preventing overcurrent, overdischarge and / or overcharge, a case main body 12 for storing them, and a lid 13 for closing the case main body 12. It has. The battery body 11 has a metal case such as aluminum in order to store the storage element. The case body 12 and the lid 13 are made of a resin such as polycarbonate. In the assembled state, as shown in a perspective view in FIG. 4, it has a rectangular parallelepiped appearance equal to the outer shape of the entire outer case 16 including the case body 12 and the lid 13.
[0003]
Incidentally, as shown in FIG. 3, the battery body 11 is printed with a display 15 such as a model of the manufactured battery, a lot number, and an identification symbol using ink. As a result, the manufacturer manages battery manufacture, quality, inventory, repair, and the like.
When printing is performed on the battery main body 11 using ink in this manner, the display 15 may be seen through the outer case 16 as shown in FIG. 4 when the battery main body 11 is stored in the thin outer case 16. This is not only unfavorable in terms of appearance, but also when there is a display on the surface of the battery pack, the transparent characters from the battery body and the characters on the surface of the battery pack overlap, making it difficult to read. Moreover, even if the display 15 is necessary for the manufacturer, it is not necessary for the end user, and the display 15 being visible can cause confusion for the end user.
[0004]
As countermeasures, various methods have been implemented or proposed. For example, it is the following methods (1) to (4).
(1) The resin of the outer case 16 is thickened so that the display 15 is not transparent.
(2) The color tone of the resin of the outer case 16 is increased to make the display 15 less transparent.
(3) The display location of the battery main body 11 is changed to the side surface of the battery main body, etc., so that the display 15 is difficult to see from the outside when loaded into the electronic device.
(4) The printing method of the battery body 11 is changed to another processing method such as laser marking so that the display 15 is not easily seen.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the methods (1) to (4) have the following problems.
(1) Thickening the resin of the outer case 16 hinders weight reduction, size reduction, and thickness reduction.
(2) When the color tone is darkened, the freedom of the color tone is restricted and the customer's request for the color tone cannot be met.
(3) To change the display location, it is necessary to change the battery production line, which increases the production cost.
(4) To change the printing method, it is necessary to change the battery production line and introduce new equipment, which increases the production cost.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a battery pack in which a display printed on a battery main body cannot be seen through from an outer case formed of a resin that accommodates the battery main body at low cost.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the battery pack of the present invention is
In a battery pack comprising a battery body with a display printed on the surface, and an exterior case made of a resin that houses the battery body,
The color of the display and the color of the member facing the display surface in the exterior case are similar colors.
[0007]
Thereby, even if the resin of the exterior case is light color, the display printed on the battery body does not show through the exterior case. According to this means, the outer case can be made thin, and the weight and size can be reduced. Further, since the display of the battery main body cannot be seen, the exterior case can be colored according to the customer's request. And it is economical because the production cost can be kept low by using existing equipment without changing the production line.
[0008]
Furthermore, the battery pack of the present invention is preferably
When L * is the CIE 1976 brightness value in the L * a * b * color system, and a * and b * are the color coordinate values in the L * a * b * color system, the color difference ΔE * ab is
ΔE * ab = (Δa * 2 + Δb * 2 + ΔL * 2 ) 1/2
If the relationship is
The color difference between the color of the display and the color of the opposing member is
ΔE * ab ≦ 15
It is to become. CIE 1976 brightness refers to coordinates corresponding to brightness in a uniform color space recommended by the International Commission on Illumination in 1976.
This further defines a range for the color of the outer case and the display color of the battery body to be similar colors, and the display is more difficult to see through the outer case.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a disassembled battery pack of the present invention. The battery pack mainly includes a battery main body 1 for storing power storage elements, a protection circuit 4 for preventing overcurrent, overdischarge and / or overcharge, a case main body 2 for storing them, and a lid 3 for closing the case main body 2. It has. In the assembled state, as shown in a perspective view in FIG. 2, it has a rectangular parallelepiped appearance equal to the outer shape of the entire outer case 6 including the case body 2 and the lid 3. The battery body 1 has a metal case made of aluminum for housing the electricity storage element. The case body 2 and the lid 3 are made of a resin in which a white pigment is mixed with polycarbonate (hereinafter, PC). As the resin, PC / ABS alloy can be used instead of PC.
[0010]
As shown in FIG. 1, the battery main body 1 is printed with a display 5 such as a model of the manufactured battery, a lot number, and an identification symbol using white ink.
In this embodiment, both the ink color of the display 5 and the resin color of the exterior case 6 are white. Thereby, the display 5 printed on the battery body 1 cannot be seen through the outer case 6.
[0011]
Furthermore, a white range such as milky white or grayish white can be quantitatively captured by a color difference meter, a spectrum meter, or the like, and a color difference or a range of color wavelength and intensity can be set so that the present invention can be easily carried out. . Thereby, the color difference between the exterior case 6 and the display, or the wavelength and intensity of the color can be measured with a machine, and the present invention can be carried out.
In the present embodiment, both the case main body 2 and the lid 3 are white. However, only the lid 3 facing the display 5 is white, and the case main body 2 is different from the lid 3 so that the exterior case 6 as a whole has a two-tone color. May be. This is because the degree of freedom of design increases, and even if the lid 3 is similar in color to the display 5, the display is not transparent.
[0012]
【Example】
The battery pack of the above embodiment was manufactured as follows.
In addition, the display 5 provided in the battery main body 1 used white ink in the above embodiment, but the display 5 in the following Examples 1 to 4 used white tape. Moreover, the display 5 of the comparative examples 1 and 2 used the black tape.
(1) The outer case 6 of Example 1 and Comparative Example 1 was formed in a white color close to light blue with a small amount of pigment using PC / ABS alloy as a material.
(2) The outer case 6 of Example 2 and Comparative Example 2 was formed in a white color close to cream color with a small amount of pigment using PC / ABS alloy as a material.
(3) The outer case 6 of Example 3 was made pure white with a small amount of pigment using PC / ABS alloy as a material.
(4) The outer case 6 of Example 4 was made pure white with a small amount of pigment using PC as a material.
And each color difference of the exterior case 6 and the white tape of Examples 1-4 formed as mentioned above and the exterior case 6 and the black tape of Comparative Examples 1 and 2 was measured with a color difference meter. The measurement results are shown in Tables 1 and 2 below.
[0013]
[Table 1]
Figure 2004079360
[0014]
[Table 2]
Figure 2004079360
[0015]
In the table, L * is the CIE 1976 brightness value in the L * a * b * color system defined in JIS Z 8729, and a * and b * are L * a * b defined in JIS Z 8729. * Value of color coordinates in the color system. ΔL * is a value obtained by subtracting the value of L * of the case surface from the value of L * of the tape surface, and Δa * is a value obtained by subtracting the value of a * of the case surface from the value of a * of the tape surface. Δb * is a value obtained by subtracting the b * value of the case surface from the b * value of the tape surface. ΔE * ab is a color difference value according to the L * a * b * color system.
[0016]
Then, the battery body 1 provided with the display 5 by the tape is housed in the outer case 6 formed as in (1) to (4), and corresponds to Examples 1 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2. Each battery pack was manufactured. And the battery pack of each Example was visually observed from 50 cm away, and the transparency of the display 5 was confirmed.
As a result, the display 5 was not visible in the battery packs of Examples 3 and 4. At first glance, the battery packs of Examples 1 and 2 could not be seen from the display 5 and could only be recognized by gaze. In the battery packs of Comparative Examples 1 and 2, the display 5 was seen through the outer case.
[0017]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, since the battery pack of the present invention can freely select the color of the outer case, a battery pack having an excellent design can be manufactured at low cost.
