本発明は、コネクタ等の被取付部品を車体パネル等の被取付体に取り付けるためのクリップ及びクリップの固定構造に関する。

【従来の技術】
例えば、コネクタ、プロテクタ、ワイヤーハーネス用クランプ等の被取付部品を車体パネル等の被取付体に取り付ける場合、パネルの取付穴に係着可能なクリップを介して取り付けることがよく行われている。その場合、クリップをコネクタ等の被取付部品に一体化するものもあるが、クリップをコネクタとは別体で製作し、後からクリップとコネクタを一体に嵌合して用いるものもあり、本発明は後者の技術に関するものである。

図10は、特開平9−82423号公報等に開示されたクリップの取付構造を示している。
図10に示したように、コネクタ2を車体パネル3に固定する場合、取付板部7に垂設された係止脚部8を備えた別体のクリップ1をコネクタ外面に装着し、該クリップ1を介してコネクタ2を車体パネル3に固定保持している。

前記クリップ1は、取付板部7に垂設されて車体パネル3の取付穴3aに係着する係止脚部8を有し、該取付板部7の下側には、一対のL字型ガイド片6,6から成る係合部が突設されている。
一方、前記コネクタ2の外面には、逆L字型断面を有する一対のガイドレール5a,5aと係止突起5bとから成るにクリップ受け入れ部5が設けられており、クリップ1のL字型ガイド片6,6を一対のガイドレール5a,5aに沿って挿入し、これらガイド片6,6の間に突設された弾性ロック片(図示せず)を前記係止突起5bに係合させて着脱自在とされる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、従来のクリップ1における一対のL字型ガイド片6,6は、係合相手であるコネクタ2側のクリップ受け入れ部5の寸法に合わせて製作されているため、対応するコネクタ2に対してしか使用することができず、寸法違いのクリップ受け入れ部5を有するコネクタ2には使用することができなかった。
そのため、例えば、同じ車両の同じ場所に異なるコネクタを組み付けようとした場合、クリップ1とコネクタの寸法が合わないために、新たにクリップを用意しなくてはならず、コスト高になっていた。

従って、本発明の目的は上記課題を解消することに係り、クリップ受け入れ部の寸法の異なる複数種の被取付部品に適用することのできるクリップ及びクリップの固定構造を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の上記目的は、被取付部品のクリップ受け入れ部に挿脱自在に保持される係合舌片と、該係合舌片に設けられた取付板部に垂設されて被取付体の取付穴に係着する係止脚部とを備えたクリップであって、
前記係合舌片の両側には、前記クリップ受け入れ部より幅広に形成された他のクリップ受け入れ部の挿入幅に対応した外側縁幅を有する一対の幅広用係合舌片が設けられていることを特徴とするクリップにより達成される。

上記構成によれば、係合舌片の両側に一対の幅広用係合舌片を設けているので、該係合舌片が挿入されるクリップ受け入れ部を有した被取付部品と組み合わせる場合には、前記係合舌片をクリップ受け入れ部に挿入し、幅広のクリップ受け入れ部を有した被取付部品と組み合わせる場合には、一対の前記幅広用係合舌片をクリップ受け入れ部に挿入する。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、添付図面に基づいて本発明の一実施形態に係るクリップ及びクリップの固定構造を詳細に説明する。
図1は本発明の第1実施形態として示すクリップの全体斜視図、図2(a)は図1に示したクリップと嵌合可能な小コネクタの斜視図、図2(b)は図1に示したクリップと小コネクタの嵌合状態を示す斜視図、図3(a)は図1に示したクリップと嵌合可能な大コネクタの斜視図、図3(b)は図1に示したクリップと大コネクタの嵌合状態を示す斜視図である。

本第1実施形態のクリップ10は、図1に示したように、取付板部11と、取付板部11に垂設された係止脚部12とを有する。係止脚部12には、図示しない車体パネル(被取付体)の取付穴に挿入された際に抜け止めロックされる一対の弾性羽根13が設けられており、取付板部11には、弾性羽根13がロックされたとき、車体パネルに押圧してがたつきをなくす一対の弾性押圧板14が突設されている。

前記係合舌片15Aは、図2に示した小コネクタ(被取付部品)50のクリップ受け入れ部51に挿脱自在に保持されるものであり、その外側縁幅a1は、クリップ受け入れ部51の挿入幅a2に対応して設定されている。

ここで、大コネクタ60におけるクリップ受け入れ部61の挿入幅b2は、小コネクタ50におけるクリップ受け入れ部51の挿入幅b1よりも大きい。
