本発明は、ノート型パソコン・携帯電話等のハンディ式の電気機器において、機器の本体に対し開閉回動自在に組み付ける開閉蓋を、開放状態位置と閉鎖状態位置との二つの状態位置に切り換えて保持せしめるように、その開閉蓋の軸支部に装備するヒンジ装置についての改良に関する。

【従来の技術】
上述のハンディ式の電気機器におけるヒンジ装置の従前のものは、最も典型的な手段である携帯電話器に装備されるフリップを開閉自在に組み付ける軸支部に組み込むヒンジ部材について具体的にいえば、図1にあるように携帯電話器Aのボディaに並列させた多数の押釦式のスイッチSW…を組み付けることで装設する操作部bは、その携帯電話器Aを、例えば、衣服のポケットに入れて収納しておいたときに、外部からの接触圧でスイッチSWが操作されるようになることを避けるため、フリップと呼ばれる開閉蓋cを、ヒンジ部材dによりボディaに開閉自在に軸支しておいて、通話の使用がないときには、この開閉蓋cにより操作部bを覆い込んでスイッチSW…の操作が行われることのないようにしている。

そして、この開閉蓋cを軸支するヒンジ部材dは、図2にあるように、金属板で四角な角筒状に成形したケース1と、樹脂材により円盤状のフランジ20の前後の両面に四角な角柱状の軸部21・22がそれぞれ突出する形状に成形されて、それの前面側に突出する角柱状の軸部21が前記ケース1の前壁1aに開設した透孔10から突出する状態においてケース1内で回転するアクチュエータ(作動軸)2と、合成樹脂材によりキューブ状に成形されて、それの前端面に、前記作動軸2の後面側の軸部22の軸芯部位に開設される中心穴に嵌合してその作動軸2を回転自在に支承する支軸30が突出し、上下の両面にはバネ板4の組付部31が形成されるバネ保持部材3と、バネ性を具備する金属板を側面視において先細りのコの字型に成形して前述のバネ保持部材3の外周面に組み付け保持させるバネ板4と、これら作動軸2とバネ保持部材3とバネ板4とを図3にあるように組み合わせて角筒状に形成してあるケース1内に挿入し、そのケース1の後端側に形設してあるラグ片1b・1bの折曲げによるかしめ付けで図4にあるようにケース1内に組み込んだときに、作動軸2の前面側の軸部21がケース1の透孔10から突出するように押し出すテーパ状のコイルバネ5とで構成し、これらにより図5にあるようにヒンジ部材dに組み立て、このヒンジ部材dを、携帯電話器Aのボディaに設けておく角穴e内に挿入し、そこから突出してくる前述の作動軸2の前面側の角柱状の軸部21を、開閉蓋cの基端側に形設しておく角穴(図示省略)に嵌合させることで、その開閉蓋cを開閉回動自在に軸支するようにしてある。

そして、このヒンジ部材dは、開閉蓋cを開放回動させると、その開閉蓋cに設けた角穴に、ケース1から突出している作動軸2の前端側の角柱状の軸部21が嵌合していることで、この作動軸2がアクチュエータとして開閉蓋cと一体に回動するようになり、これにより、作動軸2の後端側の角柱状の軸部22が、バネ保持部材3に組み付けてある側面視で先細りのコの字型をなすバネ板4の、一対に対向する作動片4aと作動片4aとの間において、それら作動片4a・4aのバネ圧を受けながら回転するようになる。

これにより、開閉蓋cが閉鎖位置にあるときに、作動軸2の内端側の角柱状の軸部22の四つの周面のうちの対向する二つの面に対して、一対の作動片4a・4aが圧接してその作動片4a・4aのバネ圧により軸部22をその状態位置に保持しているとすると、開閉蓋cを開放させる回動の初期においては、角柱状の軸部22が、それの距離の長い対角線上において対向する稜と稜とで作動片4a・4aの間隔を拡げながらその作動片4a・4aに圧接するようになっていくことによりバネ圧に抗して回動するようになって、その開放回動の進行で、軸部22の周面と作動片4a・4aとの接触点となる軸部22の対向する稜と稜とが死点越えしたところで、作動片4a・4aのバネ圧が開閉蓋cを開放側に付勢するように働いて、開閉蓋cを開放させるようになり、その作動片4a・4aが、作動軸2の内端側の軸部22の対向する二つの面に圧接した状態において開放回動を停止させ、その状態位置に保持するようになる。

そして、開放した開閉蓋cをさらに開放側に強く回動させると、作動軸2の内端側の軸部22が対向する作動片4a・4aの間隔を拡げるようになってバネ圧が働き、そのさらなる開放側への負荷を解放することで、バネ圧により開放位置に復元していくようになる。

また、開放状態位置にある開閉蓋cを閉鎖側に回動させると、その初期においては、作動軸2の内端側の軸部22が一対の作動片4a・4aの間を押し拡いていくことでバネ圧の抵抗を受けるが、その内端側の軸部22の対向する稜が作動片4a・4aに対し死点越えしたところで、バネ圧により閉鎖側に回動するようになって、そのバネ圧で閉鎖されるようになる。

ケース1から突出する作動軸2の前面側(外端側)の軸部21は、それを押し込むと、バネ板4およびそれを組み付けたバネ保持部材3と一緒に、ケース1内に向けテーパー状のコイルバネ5を押し縮めながらケース1内に没入していくようになるが、この押し込み作動は開閉蓋cを携帯電話器Aのボディaに組み付けるときに行うもので、開閉蓋cを組み付け後においては、突出した状態位置に保持されるものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述のヒンジ部材dは、作動軸2により開閉回動するよう軸支した開閉蓋cを、作動軸2に作用させるバネ板4により閉鎖側に回動させる状態と開放側に回動させる状態とに切り換えて付勢するのに、作動軸2の内端側の軸部22を、四角な角柱状に形成しておいて、それの四つの周面のうちの一対に対向する周面に、側面視において先細りのコの字型に成形したバネ板4の一対に対向する作動片4a・4aの各遊端側を、圧接させておいて、その作動片4a・4aの遊端側が軸部22の周面を押圧するバネ圧によって、作動軸2を、それの軸芯線中心に回転させるようにすることから、このバネ板4のバネ圧が、主として、コの字型に折曲げ成形してあるバネ板4の主体部の上下の端部から、上下に一対の各作動片4a・4aに向けて屈曲する屈曲部における曲げのバネ性によって生成されることになり、耐久性が低く、また、作動片4a・4a自体のバネ性は殆ど利用できないものとなっていることで、バネ圧が弱い問題がある。

このため、バネ圧を強くして、開閉蓋cの開放回動がスナップアクション式にシャープに行われるようにするためには、バネ板4を何層にも重ねるようにしなければならず、製作が面倒な問題がある。

また、作動軸2とバネ板4とを組み合わせて組み立てるときに、作動軸2の内端側の軸部22の周面が、一対の作動片4a・4aの対向する間隔内において、それら作動片4a・4aにより強く挟持された状態となるように、その内端側の軸部22を一対の作動片4a・4aの間隔内に嵌装させるようにするが、このとき、狭い間隔で対向している作動片4a・4aの遊端側の間隔内に対して、その間隔よりも当然に太い寸法に形成してある作動軸2の内端側の軸部22を嵌め込むのがむづかしいことで、組み立て作業が厄介な問題がある。

また、ヒンジ部材dを組み立てるのに、角筒状のケース1と、作動軸2と、バネ保持部材3と、コの字型に屈曲成型したバネ板4と、テーパー状のコイルバネ5との少なくとも5つの部品を要することで、部品点数が多く製作・組み立てを面倒にしている問題がある。

本発明は、従前手段に生じているこれらの問題を解決するためになされたものであって、作動軸の軸部の周面に圧接して、回転方向に付勢するバネ板のバネ性が、対向して作動軸の軸部に圧接する作動片自体のバネ性から得られるようにして、側面視においてコの字型に屈曲成型するバネ板の屈曲部の耐久性を向上させ、かつ、このコの字型に成形するバネ板に対する作動軸の組み付けが簡単に行えるようにし、しかも、部品を少なくする新たな手段を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この目的を達成するために、本発明においては、まず、バネ性を具備する金属板の屈曲成型により側面視においてコの字型に成形するバネ板の、一対に対向する作動片のバネ性を、強くしながら耐久性のあるものとし、かつ、作動軸の内端側の軸部との嵌合組み付けを容易にするための手段として、このバネ性を具備する金属板から屈曲成型して形成するコの字型のバネ板は、それの一対に対向する作動片を、それの長手方向の中間部位が対向側に弧状に張り出すようアーチ状に彎曲した形状に形成して、そのアーチ状の作動片の長手方向の中間の張出部を作動軸の内端側の角柱状の軸部の周面に圧接させるようにし、このバネ板を、組み付け保持せしめるバネ保持部材には、組み付けたバネ板の一対の作動片の外周側に、その作動片の遊端側をスライド自在に支承する支承面を設けておいて、弧状の作動片が、それのバネ板の主体部に連続する基端側の屈曲部と支承面に圧接する遊端側との2点により支承されて、作動軸の内端側の角柱状の軸部により弧状の作動片の中間の張出部が押圧されたときに、この弧状の作動片が平板状に潰されるよう変形しながら伸び出すようになって、弧状の作動片自体のバネ性を発揮するようになり、また、このバネ板を、それの一対に対向する作動片の対向間隔内に、作動軸の内端側の角柱状の軸部が位置しているようにその作動軸と組み合わせるときの組み付け作業が、作動軸の内端側の軸部を、アーチ状の作動片の対向間隔内に、間隔が拡いている遊端側から差し込んでいくだけで簡単に行えるようになる手段を提起するものである。

また、コの字型のバネ板と角柱状の作動軸の軸部とを組み合わせて組み立てるヒンジ部材の部品点数を少なくするため、コの字型に屈曲成型したバネ板を組み付け保持せしめるバネ保持部材を、合成樹脂材により角柱状の立方体に成形して、これにコの字型に成形したバネ板を組み付け保持せしめるようにし、かつ、組み付けるコの字型のバネ板は、それの一対に対向する作動片が、このバネ保持部材の内部に形設しておく空室内において対向して、その空室内に収蔵される作動軸の内端側の軸部の周面に圧接していくようにすることで、このバネ保持部材が、角筒状のケースを兼ねたものとして、角筒状のケースを省略して部品点数を少なくする手段を提起するものである。

さらに、角柱状に形成して、コの字型に成形したバネ板の一対の作動片の対向間隔内に配位する作動軸の内端側の角柱状の軸部を、それの周囲のそれぞれの周面が、それぞれ突出端に向け次第に巾を縮小させるよう先細りのテーパー状に成形して、この先細りの角柱状の軸部の周面に、コの字型のバネ板の一対の作動片が、それの具備するバネ圧で、圧接してきたときに、その軸部の周面に対し圧接する作動片の接触部位に加えられるバネ圧により、テーパー状をなす作動軸の内端側の軸部を絞り出すように軸方向に動かすようにし、これにより、作動片の接触部位が先細りの軸部の小径側に位置してくることで、作動軸の外端側の軸部が、バネ保持部材から作動軸が外端側に向けて押し出されて、その作動軸の外端側の軸部がバネ保持部材の外端側から突出する状態となり、この突出してきた作動軸の外端側の軸部を、作動片による押出方向のバネ圧に抗して押し返すことで、その作動軸の内端側の軸部の周面に対する作動片の接触部位が、テーパー状の軸部の拡径側に動いて、作動軸を押し込まれた状態となるようにして、作動軸をそれの外端側の軸部が突出する状態位置に押し出すために作用させていたテーパー状のコイルバネを省略し得るようにする手段を提起するものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に本発明の実施の態様を説明する。
本発明手段によるハンディ式の電気機器における開閉蓋の軸支部に装備せしめるヒンジ部材dは、基本的には、図6に示しているように、バネ性を具備する金属板を折曲げ成形して側面視においてコの字型をなす形状に形成するバネ板4と、このバネ板4を組み付け保持せしめるように合成樹脂材で成形するバネ保持部材3と、外端側には開閉蓋の回動軸部に対して嵌合して連結する軸部21を具備し内端側には角柱状の軸部22を具備する形状に形成する作動軸2と、を用い、これらを、バネ保持部材3にバネ板4を組み付け保持せしめ、そのバネ板4の一対の作動片4a・4aの対向間隔内に作動軸2の内端側の軸部22が位置して作動片4a・4aのバネ圧を受けるように組み合わせ、作動軸2がそれの外端側の軸部21と嵌合連結する開閉蓋cの回動によりその開閉蓋cと一緒に回動したときに、作動片4a・4aに対し接触する内端側の角柱状の軸部22の稜と周面との角度が変動することで、作動片4a・4aからのバネ圧により作動軸2が受ける回転方向の付勢の方向が正逆に変わって、開閉蓋cを開放回動の方向と閉鎖回動の方向に切り換わるようにすることについては、従来手段のヒンジ部材dと同様に構成する。

しかし、バネ性を具備する金属板からそれを所定形状に打ち抜いて屈曲成形することで側面視においてコの字型をなす形状に形成するバネ板4は、それの座板状に形成する主体部4bの対向する辺縁部から屈曲させて一対に対向するように形成する作動片4a・4aを、図6の右端側に示しているように、それの突出方向となる長手方向の中間部位が、対向側に弧状に張り出すようアーチ状に彎曲させた形状に成形する。

そして、この弧状に彎曲するよう成形する作動片4a・4aの遊端側には、水平な方向に突出する支え部40を装設するようにする。この支え部40は、バネ板4を図29〜図31にあるようにバネ保持部材3に組み付け保持せしめたときに、この支え部40が、作動片4a・4aの外周側に位置させてバネ保持部材3に形設しておく支承面3aにスライド自在に当接して、アーチ状の作動片4aを屈曲部4cとこの遊端側の支え部40との二点で支えるようになって、弧状の張出部に負荷がかかり、作動片4aの弧状の張出部の全体が潰されるように変形したときに、この支え部40が支承面3a上をスライドして作動片4aを突出方向に伸び出させ、これにより、作動片4a自体のバネ性を効果的に発揮させるようにする。

このバネ板4を組み付け保持せしめるバネ保持部材3は、合成樹脂材により、図6の左端側に示しているように、前面側が開放する中空の筒状に成形して、これに組み付け保持せしめるバネ板4の一対の作動片4a・4aがこのバネ保持部材3の内部に形成して空室内に収蔵されるようにする。

そして、この例においては、作動片4a・4aの遊端側で、作動片4a・4aの巾方向の中間部位に外周側に突出するランス41が、作動片4aを形成する金属板から切り起こすように形設してあって、作動片4a・4aが、図11乃至図14にある形状に成形してあるバネ保持部材3の内腔に差し込まれて、それの遊端部のランス41がバネ保持部材3の内腔の天井部と底板部とに、作動片4a・4aの外周側に対向するよう形設してある支承面3a・3aに圧接してそこを摺動しながらバネ保持部材3の内腔の後部側に向け挿し込まれていくとき、支承面3aの後端側に形設してあるランス41に対応する巾の切欠部3c・3cに達したところで、この遊端部のランス41が切欠部3c内に落ち込み、弧状の作動片4a・4aがそれに付与してあるバネ性により遊端部に形設してある支え部40が支承面3aに衝合するまで外周側に拡くことにより、この遊端部に形設してある前述のランス41が、図15にあるように、支承面3aに形設した切欠部3cの前縁に係止することで脱出が阻止されて、バネ板4のバネ保持部材3に対する組み付け保持が完了するようにしてある。

これによるバネ板4のバネ保持部材3に対する組み付けは、さらに、作動軸2を組み付けて、ヒンジ部材dに組み立て、作動軸2を回転させて内端側の軸部22の回動により、それの周面に圧接する弧状の作動片4a・4aの張出部が押し込まれたとき、図21・図25・図29にあるように、作動片4aが平に押し潰されていくことで長手方向に伸び出すことによりランス41が支承面3aの後端側に設けた窓穴状の切欠部3cの前縁から離れるようになることから、ヒンジ部材dに組み立てた状態においては仮とじの状態ではあるが、この実施例においては、バネ保持部材3がケース1を兼ねた形態としてヒンジ部材dを組み立て、ケース1を省略した構成として、バネ保持部材3に組み付けたバネ板4の座板状の主体部4bがヒンジ部材dの前端面(外端面)に位置し、この主体部4bに設けた透孔42から作動軸2の外端側の軸部21が突出するようにしてあることから、組み立てたヒンジ部材dを、電気機器である携帯電話器Aのボディaに設けてある角穴内に挿入して、そのヒンジ部材dの外端側に突出する作動軸2の外端側の軸部22を、ボディaにする開閉蓋cの回動軸部に設ける角穴に嵌合して連結したとき、ヒンジ部材dの外端面に位置するバネ板4の座板状の主体部4bが、開閉蓋cの回動軸部の端面に当接して、軸方向に動かないよう押さえられるようになるので、弧状の作動片4a・4aが作動軸2の内端側の軸部22の回動により押し潰される方向の荷重を受けても、それにより脱出方向に動くことはなく、組み付けた状態に保持され、従って、前述の仮とじの状態が、ヒンジ部材dの組み付けにより本とじの状態となる。
