【発明が解決しようとする課題】
以上のように構成したスピーカにおいては、振動板5が常にピストン運動することが理想であるが、実際には特定の周波数で分割共振が発生し、周波数特性の乱れの原因となる。特に一番低い周波数での分割共振は振動板5の外周で発生してエッジ6も含めた異常振動となるためエッジ共振と呼ばれ、特性、音質への悪影響が大きいものであった。

図5はその改善例であり、振動板5aの外周のエッジ固定部に折曲げ部11を設けて振動板の強度の向上を図るものであるが、折曲げ部11の外周にエッジ6aが固定されるため、振動板5aの補強は行えるものの折曲げ部11が分割振動共振の要因ともなり、エッジ共振改善の効果はあまり望めないものであった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために本発明のスピーカの請求項1に記載のものは、磁気ギャップを設けた磁気回路と、この磁気回路に接着結合されたフレームと、このフレームにエッジを介して接着結合された振動板と、この振動板の内周が接着結合されるとともに、前記磁気回路の磁気ギャップに嵌め込まれたボイスコイルとで構成されるスピーカであって、前記振動板の外周の折曲げ部に前記エッジのエッジロール内径側の貼合せ部を接着固定して前記振動板を前記フレームにエッジを介して接着固定したものであり、折曲げ部によって振動板の強度を補強するとともに、エッジが前記折曲げ部の外周を覆って不要な音の放射を防止し、更に、前記折曲げ部13が下方に折り曲げられていてエッジ6cとの干渉を考慮することなく折り曲げ幅が十分に確保されて振動板5cの強度のより十分な補強が行え、エッジ共振の改善も行えるものである。

本発明のスピーカの請求項2に記載のものは、請求項1に記載と同様の前提を有するスピーカにおいて、振動板の外周の折曲げ部にエッジロール内径側の貼合せ部の一部が前記折曲げ部外へ突出するように接着結合するとともに、前記折曲げ部と前記エッジロール内径で形成される空間部分に接着剤を充填したものであり、接着剤の充填を可能とすることで振動板とエッジ間の補強をより容易に行えるようにして接着剤の充填作業の作業性の向上と確実性が向上するものである。
