横U字形ばね片(接点ばね片、ブラシ)とホルダー(プッシュレバー、作動子)を一体とした「接点ばね片」ユニットの構成は出願人がはじめて開発したものであり、これまで該接点ばね片ユニットに係る各種スイッチにつき多数件の特許出願を行っており、特開平5−211021号(特願平4−183002号)(特許第3118086号)「プッシュスイッチ」特開平6−124623号(特願平4−297666号)「プッシュスイッチ」特開平10−50174号(特願平8−216164号)「スイッチのU形接点ばね片」などがある。

【従来の課題】
例えば、上記の特開平10−50174号に記載されたスイッチは極めて薄形に設けたものであり、そのU形接点ばね片は内外2重の狭長なばね片からなるものであるが、該U形接点ばね片をプッシュレバー(作動子)に一体的に取付けて接点ばね片ユニットを設けるにつき、その支持部(ばね接点作用上でばね性作用を行わない部分)を適宜取付けるようにしているが、極めて小形で狭長なばね片(例、幅1.0mm以下)をプッシュレバーに、数10万回のスイッチ作用に耐久できるように安定的に取付けることが困難な課題があり、また、ばね片が小形狭長で2重にしてもなお弾力が弱いため、該ばね片の接点と固定接点とのチャタリングを生じない十分な接触圧を得ること及びプッシュレバー(作動子)の原位置復元力等が不足する等の課題があって、従来以上に小形薄形なプッシュレバースイッチの構成を可能とするためには、U形接点ばね片とプッシュレバーの間に両者の強固安定的な連結取付けを媒介すると共にばね片の弾力を増大することが出来る有効な手段の開発提供が希求されてきた。

そこで、本発明は、上記の狭長な内外2重ばね片からなる接点ばね片をプッシュレバーに取付けるのに先立って、該2重接点ばね片を強固な金属製のU形部材であるばね片ホルダーにかしめ付け等の適宜の固着手段で強固一体的に固着して、耐久安定的構成でばね片の弾力を増大した「接点ばね片ユニット」を設け、該接点ばね片ユニットをプッシュレバーに取付けて「プッシュレバーユニット」を設けることによって、上記の課題を解決する一方、新たに上記の課題解決のために開発した接点ばね片ユニットを各種スイッチ用の可動接点部材(パーツ)として汎用することを開発て、将来に向かってU形接点ばね片の汎用性を格段に向上し得たものである。
