Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an electrodeless discharge lamp, and more particularly, to a technique for improving the insulation reliability thereof.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, attention has been focused on a bulb-type electrodeless discharge lamp that has a longer service life than a generally used incandescent bulb and can reduce power consumption.
Conventionally known electrodeless discharge lamps have a relatively large drive circuit for driving the same. Therefore, there are large-sized electrodeless discharge lamps provided with a drive circuit separately from the bulb and integrated drive circuits. Among them, in the electrodeless discharge lamp integrated with a drive circuit (hereinafter, referred to as “electrodeless lamp”), we want to make the size as small as that of the incandescent lamp so that it can be replaced with an incandescent lamp. There is a request.
[0003]
Generally, in the case of an electrodeless lamp, a driving circuit unit is housed inside a funnel-shaped case having a base at a tip. Here, the drive circuit section is formed by soldering a plurality of tall elements to a printed circuit board. In a conventional electrodeless lamp, the printed circuit board is generally in the same direction as the extension direction of the coil bobbin, that is, in the vertical direction. , And the case that accommodates it tends to be vertically long and large.
[0004]
In order to reduce the size of the electrodeless lamp, a type in which a printed circuit board is arranged in a horizontal direction is being developed. By arranging the printed circuit board in the lateral direction and mounting a plurality of tall elements on the base side of the case on the printed circuit board, the drive circuit unit can be efficiently housed inside the case. Thus, the electrodeless lamp can be made compact.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in the printed circuit board arranged in the horizontal direction, since the elements are mounted on the main surface on the base side, the terminals of each element and the terminals from the main surface on the tube or coil bobbin side, which is the opposite main surface, are connected. The solder to be fixed is exposed. For this reason, if two lead wires extending from the coil bobbin are connected to the printed circuit board, insulation between the lead wires and the terminals and solder of each of the above elements may not be ensured in some cases.
[0006]
Since a very high voltage of about 4000 V is applied to the lead wire, if the distance between the lead wire and the terminal or the solder becomes short even if the lead wire is short, there is a possibility that a short circuit occurs due to dielectric breakdown. Further, when the lead wires are arranged close to each other on the printed circuit board, a short circuit may occur between them. In order to suppress the occurrence of the short circuit between the lead wires, it is conceivable to increase the distance between the lead wires by separating the connection portions on the printed circuit board from each other. However, in such a case, it is necessary to route the lead wires, so that the lead wires may be bent, and the distance between the lead wires and the terminals or the solder may be shortened, resulting in a short circuit. This can be prevented by fixing the lead wire at an appropriate position, but in that case, it takes time and effort to align the lead wire at the time of manufacturing the electrodeless lamp, and there is also a problem that it is not preferable in the manufacturing process. .
[0007]
An object of the present invention is to provide an electrodeless lamp that can improve electrical insulation reliability and is easy to assemble in view of the above problems.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problem, an electrodeless discharge lamp according to the present invention has a cylindrical bobbin, an induction coil wound around the bobbin, and a main surface arranged along a direction orthogonal to the tube axis direction of the bobbin. An element for supplying a current of a predetermined frequency to the induction coil includes a circuit board mounted on a main surface opposite to the bobbin, and an insulating substrate disposed between the bobbin and the circuit board. A lead portion for energization to be joined to the circuit board is led out from both ends thereof, and a hole is formed in the insulating substrate so that the lead portion penetrates to the circuit board side, and the lead portion is formed from the hole. It is characterized in that a cylindrical portion through which the lead portion is inserted and which supports and insulates the lead portion up to the vicinity of being electrically connected to the circuit board is provided upright on the periphery of the hole.
[0009]
In such an electrodeless discharge lamp, since the lead portion is insulated by the insulating tubular portion, even if the circuit board is arranged in the horizontal direction and the terminals of the elements fixed thereto are exposed on the bobbin side. In addition, contact between these terminals and the lead portion is suppressed, and insulation reliability is improved. Further, even when the lead portion is easily bent such as a lead wire, the tubular portion can hold the lead portion up to the vicinity of the circuit board. Easy positioning with
[0010]
Here, if the lead portion is composed of a lead wire and a wedge portion, and the lead wire and the wedge portion are joined on the bobbin side with respect to the insulating substrate, the joining portion between the lead wire and the wedge portion is a circuit. Since it is isolated from the terminals of the element exposed on the substrate via the insulating substrate, it is not necessary to insulate the joint portion, which is preferable in terms of manufacturing cost.
