この実施の形態では、この確認動作を行なう際に、メニュー画面、設定画面等の操作画面(オンスクリーン画像)を液晶パネル23〜25を介して投影させることなく、上記PC50に操作画面の画面表示データを供給して表示させるようにしている。つまり、PC50を外部モニタとして使用する。このため、確認動作を行なうために、液晶プロジェクタにレンズを装着する必要がなくなる。
