本発明は、人間の皮膚等の対象物の表面の導電性や凹凸性に関する情報を出力する表面情報出力装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、皮膚の湿潤性(皮膚の水分量、油分量)、皮膚のきめ細かさ(皮膚のしわ数、毛穴数)等の皮膚状態を判断する場合、作業者がCCDカメラや顕微鏡等を用いて、皮膚表面を拡大して観察して、皮膚状態を判断していた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上述した従来技術では、以下の問題があった。即ち、皮膚表面を観察して、皮膚状態を正確に判断するには、専門的な知識や特別な熟練技術を有する。このため、上記専門的な知識や特別な熟練技術を有しない者が自己の皮膚表面を観測し、皮膚状態を誤って判断し、誤った化粧品等を選定し、使用してしまう場合があった。

このため、専門的な知識や特別な熟練技術を必要としないで、誰でも、手軽に皮膚状態を判断することができる装置の開発が望まれていた。また、皮膚状態に限らず、対象物の表面状態を、誰でも、手軽に判断することができれば便利である。

本発明は、以上のような問題点を鑑みてなされたものであり、専門的な知識や特別な熟練技術を必要としないで、誰でも、手軽に皮膚等の対象物の表面状態を判断することができる表面情報出力装置を提供することを目的とする。

上記課題を解決するために、本発明は、対象物の表面の電荷量に関する情報を出力する表面情報出力装置であって、前記対象物の表面との間で、所定の間隔をもたせるように配置され、所定の電圧がくわえられたとき、電荷を蓄積する電極と、前記電極に蓄積される電荷量を測定する測定手段と、前記電荷量の標準値である基準電荷量を予め記憶する記憶手段と、前記測定手段により測定された測定電荷量と、前記記憶手段に記憶された基準電荷量を比較する比較手段と、
前記比較手段による比較結果に基づいて、前記対象物の表面の電荷量に関する情報を出力する出力手段を有することを特徴とするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
実施の形態1.
(構成)
図1は、実施の形態1である表面情報出力装置の構成を示す図である。表面情報出力装置は、電源部(図示せず)、電極部1、間隔保持部2、測定部3、記憶部4、比較部5、入力部(図示せず)、出力部6、電圧印加部7、各部を制御する制御部8を有する。

電圧印加部7は、電極部1に対して所定の電圧(例えば、5V等)を与える。間隔保持部2には、その表面が対象物の表面と接触するように、上記対象物が置かれる。対象物を間隔保持部2に置く場合には、ユーザは、以下のように置く。間隔保持部2と対象物との間の接触面の面積が、電極部1の面積と同等以上であるとともに、電極部1を覆うように、上記ユーザは、対象物を間隔保持部2に置く。そして、図に示すように、間隔保持部2は、所定の間隔の厚さを有し、電極部1と接触するように配置されている。これにより、電極部1は、対象物の表面との間で、所定の間隔をもたせるように配置されることになる。なお、間隔保持部2は絶縁体である。そして、電極部1に、所定の電圧がくわえられたとき、電荷が蓄積される。

記憶部4には、電極部1に蓄積される電荷量の標準値である基準電荷量が予め記憶される。この基準電荷量の決定の仕方の一例について以下に説明する。表面情報出力装置の開発者や管理者等は、既存の装置を用いて、複数のユーザの皮膚9の水分量や油分量を取得し、導電性が標準と決められている水分量や油分量の皮膚9を持つユーザを決める。なお、管理者等が複数のユーザの皮膚9の表面を顕微鏡等で観察し、導電性が標準といえる皮膚9をもつユーザを決めるようにしてもよい。

また、一般的に、皮膚表面の水分量が多いと、皮膚表面の導電性が高く、皮膚表面の水分量が少ないと、皮膚表面の導電性が低いといえる。そして、導電性と皮膚表面の湿潤性の関係は、図3に示すような関係がある。このため、以下のように出力部6に出力させるようにすることもできる。制御部8は、測定電荷量の方が大きい場合には、皮膚表面の導電性が大きいととともに皮膚表面が潤っていると判断し、その旨を対象物の表面の電荷量に関する情報として出力部6に送り、出力させる。制御部8は、測定電荷量の方が小さい場合には、皮膚表面の導電性が小さいとともに皮膚表面が乾燥していると判断し、その旨を対象物の表面の電荷量に関する情報として出力部6に送り、出力させる。

(原理)
本実施の形態の測定部3による電荷量の測定により、皮膚表面の導電性を判断できる原理について以下に説明する。図4は、その原理を説明するための概念図である。

図4に示すように、皮膚9を間隔保持部2にのせた場合、皮膚9及び電極部1は、以下のようなコンデンサを形成することになる。

人間の皮膚9のどこか(例えば、足の皮膚)は、通常、地面に接触しているので、地面に接触している皮膚は、接地されていることになる。そして、上述したように、人間の皮膚には、導電性がある。このため、間隔保持部2と接触する皮膚表面に電圧を印加することで、皮膚9における間隔保持部2との接触面には、電荷が蓄積される。この結果、皮膚9の間隔保持部2との接触面は、導体であると考えることができ、電荷を蓄えるようにしたものといえる。これにより、図4に示すように、皮膚9の間隔保持部2との接触面と、電極部1との間で、コンデンサCを形成することになる。その理由を以下に説明する。上記皮膚9の間隔保持部2との接触面と、電極部1は各々導体といえる。そして、上述したように、間隔保持部2は絶縁体であるので、電極部1に電圧を印加すると、電極部1及び上記接触面に電荷が蓄積されるので、上記接触面と、電極部1との間で、コンデンサCを形成することになる。

次に、電極部1に蓄積される電荷の大小が、皮膚9の表面の導電性の大小に対応する理由について説明する。皮膚9の表面に電荷がない状態で、電極部1に、電圧印加部7による所定の電圧が加えられると、上述したように、皮膚9の間隔保持部2との接触面と、電極部1との間で、コンデンサCを形成するので、皮膚9における間隔保持部2との接触面には、−Qが蓄積され、電極部1には、Qが蓄積される。この場合、皮膚9の表面(皮膚9における間隔保持部2との接触面)の導電性が高いと、コンデンサCの静電容量が大きくなるので、電荷Qの値が大きくなる。皮膚9の表面(皮膚9における間隔保持部2との接触面)の導電性が低いと、コンデンサCの静電容量が小さくなるので、電荷Qの値が小さくなる。従って、電極部1に蓄積される電荷の大小が、皮膚9の表面の導電性の大小に対応することになる。この結果、測定された電荷量が大きい場合には、導電性が大きいと判断することが可能である。

ここで、εは皮膚9と電極部1との間の誘電率、Sは、電極部1の面積、Lは皮膚9と電極部1との間の距離である。そして、皮膚9の導電性によって、距離Lが変化するように考えることもできる。即ち、皮膚9の導電性が高いときには、距離Lが小さいと考えることで、静電容量が大きくなり、皮膚9の導電性が低いときには、距離Lが大きいと考えることで、静電容量が小さくなるといえる。このようなモデルを用いて、上記コンデンサモデルの静電容量を測定し、測定された静電容量に基づいて、ユーザ等が皮膚9の表面の導電性を判断するようにしてもよい。

(動作)
上述した表面情報出力装置を用いた表面情報出力方法について、以下に説明する。先ず、予め、上述のようにして決定された基準電荷量を、表面情報出力装置の管理者、開発者等が入力部を用いて入力する。基準電荷量は制御部8へ送られる。制御部8は、基準電荷量を記憶部4に記憶させる。

図6は、実施の形態2に係る表面情報出力装置の構成を示す図である。本実施の形態において、図1に示す構成と同一構成については同一符号を付してその説明を省略し、異なる点を詳細に説明する。本実施の形態においても、対象物の一例として、人間の皮膚について説明する。

表面情報出力動作の前に、以下のような校正動作が行われる。上記管理者等は、電源部をオンにすると、オンされた情報が電圧印加部7、制御部8に送られる。電圧印加部7は、複数の電極1aに所定の電圧を加える。
