本発明は、顔面の鼻口部を覆うように装着される衛生マスクに関する。

人体の鼻における鼻腔は、本来ここに入って通る吸気に適当な温度と湿気とを与えるために存在する。衛生マスクは、かかる鼻腔の作用を補い、鼻腔などの敏感な粘膜への刺激をやわらげて空気を肺に送り込む手助けとなる。

その際、外鼻および/またはその周りを覆って保温または加温すると、アレルギー性鼻炎や花粉症のクシャミなどの諸症状を緩和できることが、例えば特許第2507859号公報、特許第2753193号公報、特許第2825758号公報などに開示されている。

一方、衛生マスクにおいて、これの鼻口部を覆うマスク本体部分を内外二層構造にすることは、特開平7−275384号公報、特開平9−149946号公報などに公知である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、マスク本体部分を内外二層構造とした従来の衛生マスクは、外層と内層とを構成するマスク生地どうしが密着状に接合一体化されている。その限りにおいて通常の衛生マスクの内側にガーゼの類を重ね合わせて使用することと大差はない。

すなわち、衛生マスクは、粉塵や花粉の捕集性、せきやクシャミの際のたんやつばの飛沫防止性を確保したうえで、談話が支障なく行えるようにすることが望まれる。このうち捕集性と飛沫防止性とは、ひとつに鼻口部への密着性を図ることで向上できるが、密着性の向上は談話性の弊害につながる。

そこで本発明の目的は、花粉や粉塵などの微粒子が鼻腔に侵入することをよく防止できる衛生マスクを得るにある。ひいては、アレルギー性鼻炎や花粉症の諸症状などを予防し、緩和するのに有利な衛生マスクを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項1記載の本発明に係る衛生マスクは、顔面の鼻口部を覆うよう装着される外側のマスク本体1と、マスク本体1の内側に配されて少なくとも外鼻に密着する保温用の内側マスク2とを有し、マスク本体1が、前面の左右中央において前方に突曲するよう立体形状に造形されており、マスク本体1に対して内側マスク2は、隙間Gが介在する状態で取り付けられていることを特徴とする。

更に具体的に説明すると、請求項2記載の本発明に係る衛生マスクでは、内側マスク2が保温機能を有する。その内側マスク2は、織布、不織布、編布などの布帛を用いることができ、ガーゼや絹織物など素材的に保温性を有するものでも足る。積極的に保温機能を付与するについては、内側マスク2を形成する布帛に公知の遠赤外線放射物質を含ませたり、酸化発熱体を含ませて加温すればよい。内側マスク2の外表面にアルミ箔や真空蒸着金属膜を積層して、外部に体温の熱が放散しない形態であってもよい。

マスク本体1は、図1に示すごとく前面の左右方向中央部が前方に向かって張り出すように突曲する立体形状に造形されている。すなわちマスク本体1は、熱可塑性の合成樹脂繊維からなる不織布シートで裁断形成されるが、マスク本体1の左右対称形をなす左半部1aと右半部1bとを構成する不織布シートを二枚重ねにし、左右方向中央において左半部1aと右半部1bとの接合部4を一体に熱溶着し、その接合部4が前方外側へ上下間にわたって突出形成されたものとなっている。
